I let out a yawn, stretching my arms. I'd just watched about 12 hours worth of movies. Where was Evan? Probably working on an invention or something. I turned the TV to cable, bursting into laughter. What was Evan doing on TV?

"Come on down folks to the Kingdom of Briar to purchase my all new and improved, age changer! It's only $50! for every 5 seconds of use!" Evan exclaimed.

"What a weirdo." Eren said.

I snickered.

"He really is." I cracked a grin.

Eren seemed happy.

"You're smiling." She murmured.

She was right, it wasn't like me to smile, not since Adam.

Adam had a little sister, Lillica. He blamed her disappearance and her distrust of him on me.

He said he'd killed his entire family to protect her, but she still didn't believe him.

It's his fault. Not mine.

"Ari, you should give him a chance." Eren sighed. 

I sighed with her. "I don't know if I'll ever give someone a chance again.." I said.

"No, I know how you feel Ari. You want to give him a chance." She retorted.

"Fine, I'll give him a chance, but if he betrays my trust, I'll never trust anyone again." I decided at last.

"Thank you." Eren smiled.
