I kissed my father goodbye, giving him a hug. "Be careful Ari...remember...if you need anything, I mean ANYTHING, call me." He smiled. "I will Dad, don't you worry." I hugged him one more time. "I think it's almost my turn...so I'll catch you later...feel free to visit." I blew him a kiss and got onto my plane. I was ready to escape my fears once and for all, and I couldn't do that in the same town as the very thing I'm trying to escape from. As I got onto the plane I saw a lot of people filing in behind me and decided to dive for the nearest empty seat I could find, which was next to a young boy.
The boy looked to be about 6. "Hello Miss." He greeted. "Hello." I smiled softly. "I'm Pal!" He greeted. "I'm Aria, nice to meet you." I said. "So, where are you going to?" I asked him. "Mommy said there's a really nice place, and I'll meet lots of friends!" He grinned. "Oh? Well, I hope you have fun!" I laughed. "Thanks Miss!" He exclaimed.

He reminded me of myself, just a bit. So full of imagination, of hope, and of dreams. I had a feeling he wasn't really going someplace nice. It seemed as though his parents had abandoned him, leaving him alone...I heard there was a large orphanage in the town of Dawn. Perhaps, that's where he'll be. "Ms? What do you wanna do when you grow up?" He asked me, his eyes full of curiosity. This made me smile. "I want to learn more about plants...and science." I said. Even I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do, but I'm thankful my dad got me an internship with the local science lab at Dawn. "Oh, cool! I wanna be a photographer..or maybe...a journalist...or...I don't know yet!" He said giddily.

I honestly never thought I'd meet that adorable kid again, but....it's a small world, isn't it? I won't tell you when I met him again...not yet, but I will tell you...this kid and I became rather close. So close, you could call us family. ((Foreshadowing))

As I got off the plane, my eyes landed upon something, a sign, to be exact. "Welcome to Dawn." it read. I'm finally here, I'm free at last...but my problems don't end here..no this is just the beginning.
