Star Pov

After filming the episode I acted like the kiss didn't phase me but in reality my insides were jumping and screaming of joy cause fuck that was so good. As I walked towards my dressing room Marco was standing there with his arms crossed. "Hey.." I say as he looks and was still flushed red "Uh hey. Can we talk about the last scene?" I nodded as we entered my room. "Star that kiss was just for show and it didn't mean anything.." Well there goes my hopes and dreams of being with Marco

"Marco I know that already. You goofball are you Okay?" He shrugs and awkwardly laughs "Yeah I'm fine just needed to make sure so Tom doesn't get mad at me." I rolled my eyes "Marco, we were acting and the kiss didn't mean anything. You're making this a big deal when it shouldn't be." He nods "I know you're right. I don't know why I'm overreacting to the kiss. Maybe it's cause I don't our friendship to change." I raised a brow at him "Our friendship? Dude we're best friends what are you going on about?" He turned red and shook his head

"Never mind what I said! I'm gonna go to lunch! Later Star!" He ran out slamming into crew members "Sorry!" I started to giggle cause for once I'm the calm one. "Can I come in?" I see Tom and nodded "Yeah." He shuts the door and starts to chuckle "Marco is going crazy out there over that kiss. I would have thought you would be the one acting weird and awkward." I nod "Big facts. But I'm freaking out on the inside and it hurts." He smirks "Also he told me he doesn't want to ruin our friendship cause of us apparently. Knowing we aren't really a thing." He nods

"Well that might have soften your excitement." I nod "Kinda." Tom chuckles as he pulled out the script for next week's episode. "You know next episode you two have to kiss like a few times cause your characters are confused on each other and don't know what they want. So Marco better get over it soon." Oh great more kisses that mean nothing. "You're kidding" he shakes his head "Nope. I read it and surprisingly I'm not in it. The new cast members are in it so there's a new love square with Ryder, Bryan, Stella and Marcus."

I groan "This show just literally turned into a teenage love drama. I hate that I'm the lead." He smirks "Its not bad. You're more popular and more ships" I started to laugh as he did as well. "Hey don't worry so much about Marco. He'll come around and you guys won't be awkward." I sigh as he nudged me "Thanks Tom" he left as I decided to actually introduce to the new cast member Ryder. As I looked around I found him and he smiles at me "Hey, you're Star butterfly right?" I nodded "Indeed I am. What is yours my good sir?"

He chuckles as he gives me a look. Damn he's really attractive. "I'm Kai Wright. Nice to properly meet you." I shook his hand but I was lost in his mint green eyes "Your eyes are so pretty. Sorry if I'm staring at you" he laughs as he runs his hand through his hair "Oh yeah I get that all the time. No worries. So what usually goes around here?" "Well if you're talking about after shooting we usually run around and hang with crew members and play around cause that's what teens do." He nods "It feels so weird I was in the in another series. You heard of 'The beat goes on'?" I nodded

"Yeah I love that show! Wait you're the one that plays the jock right? Uh Bryce?" He nods "Yup. That series is on hiatus for awhile so my agent suggested me to try other series and boom I'm here. They say this series has 4 more seasons to go before it ends but with longer episodes." I nodded "Yup. And now you're pulled into the love square with my character and my cast mates." He nods as he looked at me "Hey, do you want to get ice cream?" I blushed a bit "You mean right now?" He nods "Yeah. Just to get familiar"

I nodded as he pulls my hand and we run off to a nice car. "You drive?" He nods "I'm 17. What about You?" "I'm 15 turning 16 soon." He chuckles "Cool. Anyways let's have fun." As we drove I asked him questions "So, Kai what is it that you want to achieve here?" He laughs as he looks at me "Friendship. Maybe something more seeing how hard it is to please you to date you." I scoff "I'm not that hard to please" he chuckles "I've seen behind the scenes of you pushing away guys that are interested in you but you don't want nothing to do with them." I crossed my arms as I smirked

"in my defense those guys weren't my type." He laughs "Okay but I feel like you only push them away cause you have eyes for another and you can't take the leap cause it's too late or..It's gonna be awkward." Wow how is he so spot on? "Am I right or am I wrong?" I nod "No you're right. But he'll never be interested in me. I wish I could move on but it's hard. Like I want to move on but when I do I'm stuck and ruin the relationship I'm currently in." He nods

"I know how you feel. I was chasing after a girl who already had a boyfriend and it hurt cause I really into her. She was pretty and had the most beautiful eyes I could ever fall for. I told her how I felt, she was flattered but she couldn't return those feelings back and I realized I had to move on. So I did and now I feel better. My heart still hurts from the rejection but it just means it wasn't meant to be." Wow I never saw it like that. I wish I was that brave to tell Marco how I feel but I'm a coward and scared of rejection. Maybe Kai and I could be close.

As we got our ice cream we talked for hours that the sun started to set and I had 12 unread text messages from Tom, Marco and my parents. I rolled my eyes and put my away "Need to go home?" I shook my head "Nah. It feels awesome to get away from all this. Thanks Kai I needed this." He smiles and God that cute smile of his is driving me wild. "No problem. If you need a day away just ask and I would gladly take you out. Also give me your number so you can actually call me or whatever" I chuckled as I typed my number in as he put his in mine. "There now you have me." He smirks "And I have you.."

my heart started to race as he said that. What is happening? Am I falling for Kai? As he took me home I stayed in the car for a bit. Maybe I should give people more chances instead of pushing them away. Maybe Kai is going to help me through it. "What's wrong?" I smiled and leaned over towards him and kissed his cheek. "Thanks for everything today. See you on set." He was blushing and nods "Y-yeah see you on set." I chuckled as I walked up to my house as he left. I can't believe I just kissed his cheek. What is happening right now?
