Gentiana
She came alone. Angella stayed behind to mourn her husband's loss, but Betty came to face the truth. She wore an Evil Dead t-shirt and black ripped jeans. Her hair was combed flat and her face had lost all joy. All that was left was a blank stair. She walked up to the front desk of the Columbus police station and saw Dina sitting quietly, typing at her computer. She waited in silence for a moment, until realising that Dina wasn't going to notice her presents any time soon. "Hello?" She said in an angry, sarcastic tone.
Dina looked up at Betty kindly. "Hello there. What can I do for you?"
"I'm Betty Bowler. I'm Collin Bowler's aunt. I'm here to see the video." Betty said blankly.
"Oh, well, like we said on the phone Miss Bowler, we can't show you the video, it's part of an open case. It hasn't been released to the public yet." Dina smiled warmly.
"I'm not asking. Show me the video." Betty slammed her hand angrily on the desk.
"Well, at the moment, I AM going to ask that you kindly leave. This investigation has not yet been opened to the public and until such time as it-"
"LISTEN BITCH!" Betty's voice rang through the large stone building.
"Ma'am! If you raise your voice in here one more time, I will have my officer's escort you out. This is an open case, you can not see the video. End of story." Dina spoke sternly.
"It's not the end of my story." Betty bolted past her and into the main office. In doing so, she passed a metal ditector that began screeching.
Dina shot up from her desk after Betty and into the office.
Betty pulled out a pistol and pointed it at the first officer she came into contact with. "I WANT THE ALONZO VIDEO NOW!"
Several of the officers shot their hands up and two of them pulled their guns out.
One of the officers began speaking calmly. "Ma'am, let's put down the gun, you don't want this to get any uglier than it already is."
Betty pulled the trigger hitting her target in the knee, sending him sprawling onto the floor in pain. "You don't know shit about what I want. Now show me the tape!"
Dina entered the room huffing, doubled over with her hands on her nees. "Holy shit you're fast!"
The calm officer continued. "What tape are you refering too, Ma'am?"
"That Alonzo one... The one with the little boy being tortured to death by some crazy guy! I JUST TALKED TO AN OFFICER ABOUT IT! HE SAID I COULD SEE IT!"
"Ok," The officer said. "And what was the name of this officer... because I can tell you right now that I've never heard of any Alonzo tape."
Now, that was weird. "What..?" Betty looked back at Dina. "But... but you just said it was in evidence... You said it was an open case and it hadn't been released to the public."
Dina looked passed her to the other officers. "I have no idea what she's talking about guys."
And that was weirder.
"Don't worry about it, Dina. We'er all gonna figure this out together." The officer looked back to Betty. "Now, why don't you put your gun down and we can talk."
Then the world paused. Maybe it was the paranoia... maybe it was the pain... but at that moment, Betty just really wanted to put a bullet in Dina's head. "You're working with him... You son of a bitch... This whole thing is some sort of screwed up conspiracy!" Betty pointed the gun at Dina. "SPILL YOUR SHIT! NOW!"
Dina held her hands up in fear.
"There's no conspiracy, ma'am! We promise! This is a safe place! The world is not against you here!" The officer begged.
"SPILL IT OR YOUR DEAD!" Betty cocked her gun.
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE SHIT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!" Dina covered her head with her hands.
"YOU'VE GOT TEN SECONDS!"
"MA'AM, PUT THE GUN DOWN OR I WILL SHOOT!" Screamed the now not so calm officer.
"10!"
Silence.
"9!"
"MA'AM-"
"8!"
"DON'T KILL ME!"
"7!"
"PUT THE GUN DOWN NOW!"
"6!"
"Holy SHIT!"
"5!"
"JUST TELL HER WHAT SHE WANT'S TO HERE!"
"4!"
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!"
"3 BITCH! BETTER SPEAK UP! 2!"
"I CAN'T!"
"1!"
Then it was too much... she cracked. "PRAISE ALONZO!"
Silence.
Bang.
Dina's body slumped to the ground. A bullet, straight through her heart.
Betty looked down at what she had done and smiled, as a bullet entered her back.

"Hello darling." Sam said softly as Lilly opened her eyes. She smiled up at his sweet furry face as she noticed her had taken his eyepatch off. She crossed her eyebrows. "It was starting to feel unconfortable. I've had it on for like six straight days. When a nurse walks in I just cover it." Lilly wrapped her arms around Sam and pulled him into a hug. Their had been a lot going on that day and she really needed one. Sam happily obliged. "Lilly, I love you... I really thought I was going to lose you back their... I'm just happy that you're ok..." She gently placed a kiss on his cheek, then snuggled her face into his arm. "I think Alonzo the Great is trying to kill us. The Dina woman from the police station was saying some spooky cryptic shit. I don't really remember what I said back to her, but..." He pulled away from Lilly. "I don't think we're safe." Lilly nodded and sighed. She really wished she had her knife back. "What do you think about it?" Sam pressed.
Honestly, Lilly's mind was on other things. Peggy was probably at the forfront. She had stabbed her and then left her to die, Now Lilly was really going to kill her. Then after that was how weak she felt. Lilly had always had the winning hand. She was always fifty steps ahead. You had to be fifty steps ahead when you were a hunter, so how had Peggy tricked her so easily. Lilly thought about the ways she could have been destracted, but realised that the main reason she didn't see it comeing was her personal vendeta. Her emotions had clogged her ability to outthink her prey. She would NOT let that happen again. At the same time though, Lilly had to consider the fact that she was starting to have emotions, which was strange. In the past year she had felt betrayle, hurt, anger, denial, fear and good emotions too, friendship, happiness, companionship and most amazingly, love. That was not every day for a psychopath. Not that Lilly would know, but what she did know was that she had never felt anything like that and it worried her more than anything. What if Sam turned against her, would she even see it coming? Maybe he had been leading her into a trap this entire time! Maybe it was a gigantic plan in his head and she was falling for the man that would eventually lead to her death!
Caring for another person was NOT self preservation. And honestly, that was the only way Lilly had kept herself from getting caught. Quick thinking and being fast on her toes. If emotions had led her to nearly getting killed by a shitty pocket knife, Lilly could only imagine what the future had in store.
"I'm gonna say nothing then, since you've just been staring off into space this whole time... Well, if you're not worried, then I'm not worried." Sam lied. Honestly, Sam was worried. He was equipt to handle anything like Alonzo. The most he'd ever taken on was his Step Dad, but that was one man, and he lost his eye in the process. Alonzo seemed to be like some of Military figure. He ran an underground government that seemed much larger then what Sam thought could be possible. That was a question though. How? How did Alonzo have such a wide net? Why did so many follow his lead? What made him special?
"I wanna watch the damn news, Karren. Now sit down and shut up." Said the Cranky man on the other side of the curtain. He had been barking at his poor daughter all day. Mostly orders or complaints, but she seemed to follow them withought argument. But it wasn't him that caught Sam's attention, it was what the "news" was about.
"The police station was held up today by a woman named Betty Bowler. No one knows where she came from or why, but what we do know is that she is safely locked up and away from inocent civilians. Two lives were lost in the tragedy. Dina Flemmings and Carl Sunders. Police are on the case now to solve this strange situations and the comunity is asked to keep the families of the victims in your thoughts and prayers. Joan?" Then the news cut back to its main hosts.
This caught Sam off gaurd. He had just been conversing with Dina. She was threatening him. And now she was dead. Something was up. "Lilly, somethings up."
Lilly was smiling at a bird flying by her hospital window. She seemed so calm.
"Why aren't you worried about this, Lilly? I'm telling you that we're dead any minute and there's nothing we can do about it and you're bird watching!" Sam said angrier then he had ment to.
Lilly wasn't worried for many reasons, but if she was honest, the biggest one is just... she didn't care. Alonzo could do whatever he wanted. Lilly would just kill whoever got into her way. Life would move on. She would still be Lilly. And people would still die. That was the only difference between her and Sam. Sam still feared things. He still worried. Lilly had realised a long time ago that fear just got in the way. Life was yours to take. You had just to take.

Alonzo sat alone in an empty room.
His hat laid still on the concrete floor. His gloves, tossed to the cornor. His jacket, ripped in two and his pants, missing from sight. He was naked. Vulnerable. Alone. His member swung freely from the chair as a peice a lose, shard wood, barely still attached to it, penetraited the back of his scrotum causing it to tear just ever so slightly. The pain sent shocks through his body, and with every shock, he would twitch. The blood dripped to the floor in small droplets, each one adding to the ever growing puddle. Never seacing, never shrinking. Stained from previouse moments such as this.
Suddenly, Alonso stood from his seat. His body facing a stone wall. A wall with nothing on it. An old wall. An unseen wall. A useless wall. It kept nothing out nor in. It has no purpose, but yet, it was there. This angerd Alonzo. Deep into his core.
A wall like this had no reason to exsist. So why was it built. It was underground, behind it was only dirt. The outside world was no threat to it. It had no justification. This angerd Alonzo. Deep into his core.
The wall was grey and water damage added its only tecsture. Besides its residue and grout that took up its face, the wall was flat and unattractive. Why was it there? Who told it to be there? Why didn't it go? This angerd Alonzo. Deep into his core.
Yet, even with Alonzo's persistent thoughts of complaint and reason, the wall did not listen. The wall only stood. The wall did not understand. The wall was only a wall. But to Alonzo, it was so much more. The wall wasn't a metaphore, it had no deep implication. It was his enemy. It kept him out. Out from what? Well, Alonzo didn't know, because Alonzo had never been in. So Alonzo was angerd. Deep into his core.
This is where Alonzo stood when he was not at work. I show you this, not to humanise this monster, but reveal what he really is. There is no depth to Alonzo. There is nothing inside him. He is a shallow creature that doesn't feel in a normal way. He is barely human. He is only a shallow creature in a deep world. And that is what truely angerd Alonzo. He was blind.
Alonzo punched the wall, but the wall did not suffer. So he punched it again and still, nothing happened. Unlike the people Alonzo destroyed, this wall could not be controlled, so it was stronger than him. Alonzo was weak. If the wall could think, it would surely destroy Alonzo. But it couldn't think. In that way, Alonzo was stronger. In that way Alonzo won. The wall would never be anything more than a wall.
"Mr. Alonzo. The Bearded woman has been disapeard." Spoke a voice from behind Alonzo.
"Touch me." Alonzo responded.
"Yes sir. The voice replied, quickly walking over to Alonzo. It assumed position infront of him and started its duty.
"She was weak. She was nothing. She will be replaced... In the meantime, I will take care of the problem myself." Alonzo smiled. "Faster."
"Yes sir." It picked up pace.
"I don't understand why it's so dificult to take care of two people. They are weak. The circus is so much more powerful." Alonzo's eyes went into the back of his head. "Keep doing that."
"Yes sir." It responded.
"Yes... yes..."
And suddenly, the job was finished. It stood up to look at Alonzo.
"What is your name, performer?" Alonzo whiped himself off with his hand and licked the perversion from his fingers. "You are very good at pleasing me."
"My name is Angella, sir."
"Are you new, Angella?"
"Yes." Angella Bowler nodded her head.
"I am promoting you to my right hand, Angella. You will be coming with me to Ohio." Alonzo stretched his arms. "Now please repeat your last task. I still need more."
Angella nodded and kneeled back in front of Alonzo.
"It has been a very stressful day. My best friend died yestarday... And my farther died the day before." Alonzo looked down, genuinly destrot. "Oh well... now friends to be made, I suppose."
"Yes sir." Angella responded. "Always new friends to be made. And new enemys."
"Hmm." Alonzo nodded. "Faster."
