It was the time zone where Iseul was 16.

Prince Jungkook and master Yunxi were walking in the bustling streets. Yunxi was dressed in white and anyone would mistake him as an ascended god. He was ethereal and pleasing to the eye.

"Can you stop following me?"

Jungkook acted like he heard nothing and looked around. When he saw a perfume shop,he stopped. "Master,look there. Come here", he dragged his master towards the shop.

Jungkook, "Master likes lavender scent,right? Let's buy one"

Yunxi,"I have plenty of them"

Jungkook sighed as he was almost reaching his limits. The stubborn man next to him will never give in. He placed the lavender perfume bottle on the table and turned around.

Jungkook, "Master,I have been treating you pretty well in these days. You still refuse to acknowledge me?"

Yunxi glared at him and turned around to leave. Jungkook was really mad but he couldn't afford to let his master chase him away. He followed him again.

Yunxi had walked fast and Jungkook almost lost him. When he reached where his master went, he stopped as he looked at his master who was standing in the middle of a peach garden. He really looked like a jade statue.

Yunxi was talking with the garden owner. Jungkook approached them and heard their conversation.

"My lord,thank you for helping me and my family. If it wasn't for you,my children would have been devoured by demons", the old man said.

Yunxi smiled gently.

"My lord,where are you going?",the old man asked after showing his gratitude.

"I'm here to give you the money of the stolen peaches in your garden. Few days ago,my disciplines have caused troubles here. Their brothers are not in the town to deal with them. As their master,I'm here to take the responsibility"

Jungkook was flustered. Indeed,few days ago,he came here with Iseul,Taehyung and Jimin. Since they weren't caught by their brothers, they naturally let the matter go. But who knew that their master would find about it. Jungkook was sure that there will be server punishment in the near future. Their master is no different than their brother Yoongi. Ruthless and heartless.

After giving the money,both Yunxi and Jungkook walked towards the river area.

Jungkook immediately pulled his master to sit on the grass. "You didn't have to give him money. If you asked me,I'd have paid him. Plus,it's us who stole"

Yunxi,"...."

For a while,both of them said nothing. The silence was peaceful.

Jungkook, "Master,have you considered about my confession?"

Yunxi stiffened.

Jungkook, "It's been more than a month. Why don't you answer me?"

Jungkook was staring at the river. Though he had a calm expression, his heart was beating furiously. He was anxious and nervous. He knew that it would be a great taboo if anyone knew about his feelings but he couldn't give up. He wanted to give a try. He didn't even know what he was expecting.

He wanted to move on but at the same time,he didn't want to. He decided to listen to his master and agree to whatever he has to say. If he refused, he won't trouble his master anymore. Jungkook is a Prince. His actions affect his family. He needed to mind his behaviour. But it was his life too. If his master gives a positive answer, he would fight for themselves.

But what he heard was something he didn't expect.

"I'm leaving"

Jungkook,"...huh?"

Yunxi looked at Jungkook. "I'm leaving this kingdom. My parents have arranged a marriage for me. So,I have to leave"

Jungkook looked at him like a kid who was lost. He didn't know what to say. His heart was broken. He looked at the river with lost eyes.

"...oh", he whispered. "Hmm. Fine"

Jungkook stood up slowly. He bowed Yunxi and walked away. He wanted to turn around and look at Yunxi for one last time but he couldn't because of the tears. He was afraid to show this side to him. He was scared to show his weakness to anyone in this world.

Yunxi stayed seated. He looked at the jade pendant on his hand. He bought it secretly on his way and wanted to give as a farewell gift to him. But he decided not to. He couldn't ruin the master - discipline relationship with him. He will leave as his master. Not as a lover who failed.

Who would tell Jungkook that the reason why his master is leaving is because of him.

"It's a forbidden love", Yunxi whispered.

The scene again changed. This time,the time frame had decided to come to the main point. It was the day they went to hot springs.

Iseul and her brothers were in the hot spring as they heard a sound.

Outside the frame,Iseul was looking at the scene attentively. She saw how she went inside the woods with Prince Yoongi. How he scolded her,how she ran away from him, everything was displayed.

And then the wolf,Iseul froze. Xie Ming. The wolf was Xie Ming.

And then,for the first time,Nian came infront of Iseul. Nian had come to claim his property. Iseul. His meal.

He pierced her shoulder with his claws. Iseul's bones were almost visible. And then Prince Yoongi entered the scene.

Iseul was unconscious when Prince Yoongi fought with the demon. Now,Iseul is seeing this scene,she saw how he fought.

Yoongi was fierce and sharp. His attacks were elegant but vicious.

Nian fled away when he was at a disadvantage. Yoongi took Iseul's unconscious body to his arms and patted her cheek.

"Iseul"

He was looking very anxious. His white robes were painted with her red blood. His eyes moistened as he hugged her before whispering, "Nothing will happen. Brother will save you"

He picked her up and went to find his horse.

The time skipped.

Iseul was on her bed while her brothers were surrounding her. She was still unconscious.

Yoongi was sitting on the bed,holding her hand as if he was trying to warm her. He was looking lost.

"There is no any evil fragrance in her body anymore. But why did that demon just leave after injuring her?", Namjoon asked.

"He is a first ranked demon. I won't believe he did nothing to her", Taehyung said with crossed arms.

"I agree", Jimin said.

Seokjin squinted his eyes as he was thinking something. He approached her bed and pointed at her shoulder. "The shoulder injury"

Jungkook, "I don't think he would come out to just injure someone"

Seokjin nodded. "Right. But what if this is not a simple injury he did but a mark he gave"

Hoseok, "A mark? Oh! You mean like marking its target?"

Seokjin nodded. "Yes. We couldn't find any evil seeds in her. Then,we can only come to a conclusion that he marked her. She will be his target"

Jimin,"What should we do?! What if it comes back to hurt her? Brother Yoongi! Say something"

Yoongi said nothing. Guilt was visible on his face. He was ashamed of himself for letting her get hurt. He couldn't protect her.

Seokjin placed his hand on Yoongi's shoulder. "Don't worry. She'll be fine. Let's keep an eye on her"

After discussing for a while,they all dismissed except Yoongi. He stroked her cold palm gently. "It's my fault. I shouldn't have scolded you. I shouldn't have let you run off alone. I shouldn't have,I shouldn't have! I don't deserve to be called 'brother' by you"

He stared at his sister with extreme guilt. He wanted to protect her. He wanted to be a brother she could rely on. But all he did was being cold to her.

A silent tear left Yoongi's eye as he stared at his unconscious sister. Just then a thunder roared in the sky.

Yoongi's body froze.

An electronic shock ran through his spine.

He knew what was coming.

A heavenly calamity.

The whole sky was growling and thundering without a rain. Everyone in the palace came outside to witness the calamity.

Yoongi's eyes reflected a galaxy.

His mortal body went numb and fell onto the ground while his spirit ascended to heaven.

Just then,Iseul opened her eyes.
