....Flower of Evil....

Beomgyu walked through the company hallways with a blank face. It's been almost 4 years since everything happened and he was trying to co-op with consequences now. He had to face quite the heavy punishment. After two years of imprisonment in a demon forest, he was called back for his duties. When he came back,he was recruited to the team of catching vengeful ghosts. It was a part of his punishment. He took every punishment without a word and finished them. Since his behaviour was rather quite and good,he was promoted as the team leader of the group.

If anything had changed,then it is his personality. From sunshine he had gone to a gloomy sky. Smile was never on his lips,mind was blank,eyes were dark as hell.

He even changed his childish hair. An under cut with a manbun. He emitted an aura of a dark soul. A perfect grim reaper to catch vengeful ghosts. He had no mercy in his heart anymore.

"Gyu"

Beomgyu halted in the mid way hearing the familiar voice. Giving a side look,he was greeted with the sight of his brother Yeonjun. It's been months since they last saw each other.

There was no visible change in Yeonjun other than his hair style.

"So rare to see you here,what's up?",Yeonjun asked as he stopped next to Beomgyu.

"I'm recruiting a new intern. Jade Emperor had asked me to take this newbie to my department", his words had no emotion at all.

Yeonjun was still getting used to this new side of Beomgyu. He tried to talk it out with Beomgyu but he seemed to have given up on everything. Now Beomgyu wasn't interested in anything at all. He just does what he is ordered. Other than these missions,he doesn't engage in any other extra works. At first,Yeonjun thought it was better than grieving but now it feels like he had lost Beomgyu. Nevertheless, he couldn't get involved in Beomgyu's life anymore. It will only burden Beomgyu.

Yeonjun, "Then why are you here? Aren't you the team leader? You could have sent another one. You're busy as enough these days and now you gotta escort your new interns?"

"That darn Kang Taehyun had taken my intern and his new intern out for god knows why and apparently they had involved themselves with a vengeful ghost. Emperor just asked me to go and help them. I'm on my way out now"

It seems like Beomgyu was coming out from Emperor's office right now.

Yeonjun, "Oh,what a pain. So,Taehyun also got a new intern?"

Beomgyu, "Seems like it. They are causing trouble. I gotta go"

Yeonjun, "Alright, then let me help too. I'm free of duty today"

Beomgyu had no problem with that. More hands mean less work. As long as the work can be done quickly, he doesn't care.

Beomgyu and Yeonjun were infront of an apartment complex. The night was calm and chilly. It didn't look like it would rain soon. Beomgyu was quite disappointed since he loved rain.

The two brothers entered the building and teleported themselves into various floors to see where are Taehyun and the two interns.

After few seconds, they sensed a dark aura around a certain hallway and headed towards there. There,they saw Taehyun and a boy with two vengeful ghosts. The situation looked almost hilarious to Yeonjun. A ghost was on Taehyun's shoulders trying to strangle him while the boy was trying hard to pull away the ghost. And Taehyun was strangling the other ghost by his neck. The four on the floor trying their very best to survive. Where is the other intern?

Beomgyu had no time to think since this is a situation where his guidance was needed. Both Yeonjun and Beomgyu ran towards them to help them. The ghosts had too much dark power in them but with Yeonjun's and Beomgyu's help,they could manage.

Beomgyu slammed one ghost to the nearest wall and slashed him with his spiritual knife. Yeonjun had beatened up the other ghost to a pupil before giving it to Beomgyu. Beomgyu gave the end blow with his dagger.

Taehyun and the new intern stood up while panting heavily.

"Woah,I nearly died", The new intern said.

Taehyun looked at him and said,"You are already dead"

"What the hell Taehyun,I told you to stop messing around with new interns!", Yeonjun scolded.

"I didn't know we'd run into these ghosts. I was taking them to a restaurant when a senior asked us to take care of some ghosts in here until he come back with reinforcement"

Taehyun ruffled his hair in frustration. "He would have thought twice before asking someone like me to catch these disgusting ghosts. For heaven's sake, I work in mechanical department! I only know how to work on machines! That bastard"

Beomgyu sighed. Taehyun wasn't fit for the roll of catching ghosts. He died in the modern era and he knew nothing about martial arts. Though he is a smartass in different areas,fighting wasn't his things. Beomgyu looked at the intern. A boy with some foreign looks. "My intern?",He asked pointing at the boy.

The boy looked at Taehyun feeling a bit flustered. "N –No sir —"

Taehyun, "He is my intern,HeuningKai. Yours is ......oh here she comes"

Beomgyu and Taehyun didn't even have time to look back when a ghost went flying above their heads. Taehyun and the boy had already backed away to a corner when a girl in all black jumped above the senior grim reapers' heads. She perfectly landed on the heavily injured ghost. She had a long whip in her hands.

Her long hair was in a high pony tail.

Taehyun, "Your intern"

Beomgyu's body was frozen for an unknown reason. He didn't know why but the back of this girl looked awfully familiar to him. No,he doesn't want to trust what his mind was telling him. It couldn't be right.

The girl turned back with a cheerful smile. "Hello team leader,I'm Leonia,your intern. Please take care of me"

Yeonjun and Beomgyu went pale from head to toe.

What kind of fate is this,this fucking fate is playing with them again. Specially Beomgyu, he felt nauseated,he didn't want to go all over the past again. When he was ready to move on,she came back.

What is Iseul doing infront of him again? Didn't she abandon him? Why is she back then?! Why is she playing the wrong cords?! Surely this can't be a sick joke of someone, right?

"I. Will. Never. Accept. Her. As. My. Intern!", Beomgyu left Emperor's office after saying his last words to the Emperor. He couldn't believe that the Emperor would assign her into his team just as he wanted to torment Beomgyu. Wasn't he tormented enough?!

He can't face her again. He wanted to hate her. It hurt again and again. He never had a time to heal his wounds when the Emperor gave him another wound by showing him Iseul again.

When Beomgyu left the office, he was met with Leonia aka Iseul who was waiting for him outside. Though she had lost her memories, he would never accept her. The pain he felt,he never wanted to feel it again.

"Team leader! Did I do something wrong? Why are you doing this to me?",Leonia asked desperately.

Beomgyu gritted his teeth as he glared at her. "Piss off", he walked away without giving her another look.

Leonia's face dropped sadly. She couldn't understand why she was treated that way.

"Hey"

Leonia looked back hearing a voice. It was Yeonjun,she somehow remembered his name since Taehyun had always talked about Beomgyu and Yeonjun. He looked like a cold hearted prick just like Beomgyu.

"I don't think Beomgyu's apartment suits you. Just give up and transfer into something else. Taehyun is all excited to recruit you to his team. I'm going to talk to Emperor about it. Don't you dare mess around Beomgyu from now on"

Leonia was pissed and sad. But she expected it since Emperor had warned her about this pair of brothers beforehand. She was told that they wouldn't be nice to her for a short while. She didn't even know why.

She went to the cafeteria with a sad pout and sat down in a corner. Suddenly, two men sat infront of her. They were none other than Taehyun and HeuningKai.

"Hey,I heard that jerk isn't letting you work in his apartment. Just ignore those cold hearted punks and work with us. What do you say?"

"It's not like I don't want to work with you. But my specialities are all related to killing and slashing", Leonia said as she stole Kai's chocolate milk shake.

HeuningKai was flabbergasted when she drank his milk.

Taehyun, "You are one hella cruel creature. Just let it go and join the escort team then"

HeuningKai, "But isn't Senior Yeonjun the team leader of that group? Is he fine with her?"

Leonia pouted angrily. She wanted to smack those choi siblings. They were so rude to her. But what to do,she has a big fat crush on Beomgyu now! It was like love at first sight. The moment she saw Beomgyu, her heart went boom.

Where will she end up at this rate?

"Oi newbie"

Both kai and Leonia stood up in unison hearing Yeonjun's voice. They looked at the entrance to see Yeonjun walking towards them. He pointed at Leonia. "You,get ready. We are going to escort a soul"

Looks like he had accepted Leonia to his team. Taehyun looked at Yeonjun with a blank face. He didn't expect him to accept her knowing their past. Though he doesn't know everything, he knows everything he needs to know. He wanted to recruit Iseul to his team since he felt extremely excited about her. Whenever she is,there is excitement. Wouldn't she bring some adventure to their boring lives? Looks like he failed to recruit her to his team.

Leonia obeyed his words and walked towards him. She bowed slightly, "Team leader"

Yeonjun nodded in acknowledgement. "Welcome to my team"

Taehyun snickered taking his attention. "Good luck"

Yeonjun sighed and turned around. He hated what he got into. It was not like he had a choice. He couldn't let Beomgyu and Iseul get involved with each other again.

Leonia,the hand grenade he got himself.

He determined to do anything to stop the unavoidable destiny between Beomgyu and Iseul.

Even if it means trading his own soul.

He is ready to be the villain if that is what it takes.
