You should know to not awaken the sleeping beast. Just because it had been sleeping all this time doesn't mean it will forever sleep like that. You shouldn't have given the power to break the chains around the monster.

Iseul's eyes shrank as she watched his husband being held as a blood sacrifice. He was wrapped in a thorny vines as he was hoisted up in the tree of pain. That tree was a famous torturous tool which was used by her kingdom to torture the enemy. The owner of that spiritual tree was none other the Queen of the kingdom. It was a family heirloom given by her ancestors. It was a spiritual device. It would sprout from anywhere on the earth as the owner summon it.

Iseul had known about Queen's spiritual energy way before. She had seen Queen's ruthless side when it came to enemies and it was not second to his highness Yoongi. Plus,she didn't become the queen without a talent.

This tree had no leaves. It only had thorns and no one could escape from its clutches.

Xie Ming's whole body was pierced by thousands of thorns and blood was falling down drop by drop. Once he is drained out of blood,he will die. His demonic whip had been broken into two pieces and they hanged on the tree. His sword was no where to be seen and he was barely conscious.

Iseul covered her mouth with hands as tears gathered into her eyes. Then she heard the cry of her son. She looked at where the cry came from.

The Queen was holding her son and he was crying miserably and painfully as he was still sick.

Iseul felt her chest burning.

There were so many soldiers with her. And there was someone else which made her chest burn even more.

His highness Yoongi.

He was beside the Queen with a sword. No wonder Xie Ming couldn't protect himself. Yoongi's strength cannot be compared to anyone.

But today,his highness Yoongi didn't have the spiritual aura of a god. Iseul didn't have a mindset to pay attention to these details.

"Oh,so you finally came. I was worried thinking your husband would be dead when you come here. Lucky you,he still had some blood in him", Queen said with a smile.

Wangxi cried harder seeing his mother. "Mama!"

"You didn't even tell me you had a son. Look at my grandson. How cute!", she cooed and rocked him.

"Let them go", Iseul said.

Queen looked at her. "Why? You don't like the reunion?"

"You only want me! Here I am! Now let them go!"

Queen laughed and shook her head like Iseul said some kind of joke. When she finished laughing, her face went blank. She looked at Wangxi. "Isn't he an heir to the throne?"

Iseul widened her eyes. No. She understood what Queen means.

"No! He is not! He doesn't need your fucking throne! He is just a kid!"

Queen stroked the crying child's hair. "But what will happen once he becomes an adult? Won't he seek revenge for his parents' murder?"

Iseul was shaking badly. Her eyes were burning in rage. "Don't you dare", she growled.

Queen smiled and turned her back to Iseul. "Iseul,do you know what is in there?"

Iseul looked at where she is pointing. A locked up cave. She could say that it was locked by a spiritual seal for some unknown reason.

"N –No", A small whimper came from Xie Ming. He was bleeding from seven senses and was pale as ice. He couldn't even move. "Don't"

Iseul felt cold all over her body. What is in there.

"Have you heard about zoombie beasts? A very nasty type demon. They are cursed corpses and fed on human flesh. So dirty that they don't even have a conscious. They are easy to deal with for someone like you. But", Queen looked at the baby in her hands.

A foreboding feeling took Iseul's body.

How can someone be this much cruel?

To go this far to kill an infant?

If she thought Iseul would sit back and watch,then she is wrong.

Iseul put two fingers on her lips and did a loud whistle.

Queen looked back in confusion.

A pack of demonic wolves came running towards them. A wolf brought a sword by his mouth and threw it to Iseul. She caught it perfectly.

Queen looked at Yoongi. "Take care of Iseul"

He did a small nod with a small evil grin and walked towards Iseul in a carefree manner.

The soldiers charged forward to deal with the wolves.

Iseul tried to run towards the Queen but Yoongi landed infront of her. "Hello sis"

Iseul frowned. Yoongi had never addressed like this. What happened to him to get cocky like this? She shook off her thoughts and spined her sword before attacking him. Iseul expected an attack from his spiritual fan but he was just using a sword just like her.

It was a violent fight. She suffered the most injuries while Yoongi had no injuries.

Her eyes snapped towards the Queen who was unlocking the seal on the cave.

"NO!", She screamed and tried to run there but with that moment of carelessness, Yoongi's sword pierced through her stomach.

Queen looked back and smiled. She flickered her fingers and soon the roots of spiritual tree sprouted from the ground trapping all the wolves and she killed them instantly with the thrones. Another vine crept from under Iseul's foot.

Iseul backed away still keeping the sword inside her stomach but she was too slow. More vines were sprouting from the ground and she couldn't escape. Iseul looked at Wangxi and with all her spiritual energy, she made a run towards the Queen.

As she was about to touch Wangxi's little extended hand,she was pulled back by the thorny vines and was trapped into the same tree as Xie Ming. Thousands of thorns pierced her body making her scream in absolute pain.

But that pain was cannot be even considered with the pain in her heart.

Queen unlocked the seal of the cave.

"Brother! Brother! Please! Save my son! I will kowtow you every single day! I will kneel infront of you every single day! I will die for you! I will be your slave! Please don't hurt my son!", She cried and screamed from the bottom of her heart. "DON'T HURT HIM! I BEG YOU! I WILL DO ANYTHING YOU ASK!BROTHER!!! BROTHER!!!", She screamed from the every single cell in her body.

Bloody tears were rolling down from her eyes.

Xie Ming couldn't scream as Iseul. Blood was rolling down from his eyes instead of tears. The vines had gone to his throat piercing it and he couldn't voice out anymore. He was in the verge of dying.

Queen put Wangxi infront of the cave and moved away from the cave area with Yoongi.

Wangxi stood up from his little feet and wobbled trying to go towards his parents. But,

He was grabbed by a gruesome pale sticky hand. Behind him was a zombie beast with a twisted face. Not one. Hundreds of them were pouring out from the cave.

Iseul screamed her lungs out. Her son was literally broken into pieces infront of her eyes. His little hands,legs were pulled separated from his body. He was eaten alive by the monsters infront his parents eyes. Those beasts fought to have a taste from the infant.

[End of sensitive scene]

Iseul was going crazy. She couldn't think anymore. She screamed nonstop. She didn't know what time it was. She just screamed and screamed. When she was done screaming,she was numb. She had no sense. She had no soul. She didn't know what was happening either.

She felt the vines around her losing and her body was dragged towards somewhere.

"Good bye Iseul. I'll let you die with your husband", she heard.

And then her body was thrown over the cliff which had no ending. She saw Xie Ming's body falling down as well. As his body got closer,his trembling hands pulled her into his embrace.

She looked at Xie Ming's bloody eyes. She could say what he wanted to say. He was apologising for not being able to protect them.

The hellish cliff was too deep that they were falling for an eternity.

Xie Ming couldn't speak. He closed his eyes and suddenly his body started glowing.

Iseul couldn't keep her eyes open with the bright light and closed them.

She tightly clutched into Xie Ming and was about to accept the death with open arms.

She felt Xie Ming's arms becoming soft and big. A painful whimper of a wolf was heard from above her head.

He had turned himself into a wolf.

He had forced himself to use every living cell inside him to turn himself into a wolf again.

She couldn't understand. Why?

And when they were about to touch the ground, she understood.

He was going protecting her from the impact. He was using his wolf body to protect her.

Once they fell,she will not feel a pain but him.

Iseul was awake but not. She didn't know whether it was day or night. She stared at the sky above her with her dead lover beside him.

His body had again turned into a human body after he died.

He died saving Iseul.

"Tsk tsk tsk,poor girl. Now,what do you have you have to say,Iseul?",she heard a voice but she didn't know who was that.

"Do you still want to keep your good heart and spread kindness to those who did wrong to you?"

"Do you,Iseul?"

"Why don't you say 'shut up' to me today?"

"Hahahaha,didn't I tell you to listen to your thoughts? I was purely concerned for you but you ran away", the voice sounded like he is genuinely pitying her. "Do you still want to run away,my dear?"

Iseul felt a gentle hand on her cheek. "They took everything from you"

"Come with me Iseul. I'll show you what to do. I'll show you the way to satisfy your hatred. Come,my dear. No need to be good anymore. Bury your old self with your husband here. Let's go and find your new self"

Iseul opened her mouth. "...Fine"
