Some Facts:

- It is rare to see the blossom in red or yellow
- there scent is a distinct citrus smell
- it is the state flower of Mississippi

Meaning: love of nature, sweetness, preservance

A/N as you can probably infer cherry blossoms are actually my favorite flowers but they weren't always. First, it was magnolias because of a childhood memory where my father explained to me why he loved the magnolia flower. I was very young at the time and most of what I can remember is that he liked their unique smell. This was one of the first things that interested me in flowers and nature in general.
