I am worried about the prophesied cat, will she fulfill her destiny?” Flowerstar asked. “Nobody knows Flowerstar. I’m sure they’ll be fine for the journey though.” “I hope so. The clans will need her in the future.”

“Is this the wrong time to come?” a small brown she-cat came out behind some trees. “No Sunstar, you’re fine.” “I think the three cats will need our help. We must use the last of our powers to help.” “I agree with this, what about you Rainstar?” Flowerstar asked. “I’m all for it.”

“Wait! I would like to help as well!” A black tom exclaimed as he stepped out of the shadows. “Miststar, I didn’t see you there.” Rainstar nodded at the black tom. “Well of course you didn’t.” “Well then everyone, are we ready?” Flowerstar asked. “Yes.” Everyone replied. “Let’s hope they get their gifts on time.” Sunstar said. Miststar nodded.

The four ancient leaders trudged through the undergrowth to reach their own stone, the golden Gift Stone. It was dull, and it lost its shine. There was only enough power left to give a few gifts, and they were going to give them to Blossompaw, Sootpaw, and Bramblepath.

The four cats touched their noses to the stone. “I give them the ability of good-judgment.” Flowerstar meowed. “I give them the ability to never drown.” Rainstar said. “I give them the ability to run fast.” Sunstar whispered. “I give them the ability of hiding well.” Miststar’s loud voice boomed.

“I hope these gifts last long enough for the three.” Sunstar worriedly said. “Even if they don’t last long, they will help them in the time they have them.” Flowerstar comfortably meowed. “If the gifts even get to them before they die.” Miststar reminded them. “I don’t think we can afford to think like that Miststar.” Riverstar told her pointedly. The four cats said their goodbyes and went their separate ways their bodies becoming fainter each step they took.
