Chapter Twenty Five: Valentine

"Yoongi It's five AM. Why are you up and why are you here?"

"No time to explain, just let me in please?I won't make any noise, you can go back to sleep."

Jungkook huffed and stepped aside, allowing Yoongi to walk into the apartment. Sleepily checking the date as he unlocked his phone, everything clicked into place.

February 14th; Valentine's Day.

Smiling softly, Jungkook watched as Yoongi tiptoed into the kitchen.

"He's a heavy sleeper, just as long as you don't set the place on fire you should be fine." He chuckled, following behind the older and making his way over to the coffee machine. "I'm already up, might as well just accept it."

Shaking his head at the younger, Yoongi opened the fridge and rummaged through it.

"Make me a cup too."

Jungkook chuckled.

"Waking me up at five AM, making me make your coffee for you... What's next?" He joked, the older rolling his eyes in response.

"Actually..." Yoongi began, before Jungkook laughed and raised his hand to halt Yoongi from speaking any further.

"Okay okay, let me actually wake up and then I'll help out okay?"

"Deal."

-----------------------

The sun was just peeking over the horizon when Jungkook finally emerged from the apartment, the hood of his sweater over his head. Even though it's February, he underestimated how cold it would be, but was also too lazy to go back up and grab a jacket.

Yoongi had given him a list of things to pick up, also telling him that he needed to be back by around 7:30. Jungkook assumed he could manage it, it was only about five things.

Because Jungkook hadn't bothered to get his driver's license yet, he had to settle for walking to his first destination. It wasn't ideal, but he didn't really have an alternate option.

The walk wasn't actually as long as he anticipated, soon smiling in relief once the familiar shop coming into view; Yoongi's work. Checking the sign, he saw that they opened at 5:30, so not too long ago.

Pushing the door open, he let out a small yawn and walked up to the counter, where Yuri looked as if she was about to pass out.

"Uh, Noona?" Yuri quickly snapped out of her daze, looking over at Jungkook and smiling.

"Woah Jungkook, what're you doing up so early?" She asked propping her head up with her arm.

Jungkook sighed.

"Running a few errands for Yoongi." He replied, "He woke me up at five AM because he's doing something for Hoseok, but he won't tell me what it is."

Yuri chuckled and sat up.

"I see.." She smiled, "So what can I help you with?" Yuri asked, raising an eyebrow.

Jungkook pulled out the small list Yoongi had given him and looked at the first item.

"I'm looking for this really specific flower."

------------------

Hoseok ended up waking up at around nine, yawning and stretching as he sat up.

Just as he was about to protest to his body's decision to wake up and lie back down, something that sat on the table next to his bed peaked his interest.

It was a red and white rose.

A small blank piece of paper rested underneath the flower, Hoseok picking up both and grinning.

"Dear Hoseok,
We've already stated that I'm a pretty cheesy guy, so why not prove it even further? Try and find all the items around the house okay? This is #1.

1. Red and white rose:
Technically the flower that allowed me to truly talk to you for the first time. You're voice is really nice, you know that right?"

- Yoongi"

The blush creeping up onto his face as he read the words, Hoseok set the paper back onto the table, taking the rose with him as he walked down the hallway. Soon finding another paper stuck to the wall not far away, Hoseok grinned and picked up his pace slightly.

The paper was taped to the wall right next to the coat hook, a flower crown hanging from one of the hooks.

Picking up the crown and placing it stop his partial bed head, Hoseok read the next note written out to him.

"2. Flower crown:
Do you know how hard I fell for you on the spot when you first put one of these on? You looked stunning, you still do."

Hoseok's face almost hurt from smiling at this point, but he wasn't complaining one bit. Walking into the living room, another piece of paper caught his eye that was resting on the table. A still steaming cup of coffee beside it, Hoseok smiled and picked up the cup, blowing on it before taking a small sip. Afterwards, he picked up the note.

"3. Coffee:
I thought our interactions ended until I found out that you of course had to work at the coffee shop I began liking. Luck was on my side huh?"

Taking the cup off coffee along with him and sighing, Hoseok probably would've missed the next item if he hadn't almost stepped on it. It seemed to be one of those little plushes you get out a claw machine. It was in the shape of an ice cream cone, making Hoseok raise an eyebrow before reading the piece of paper beside it.

"4. Ice cream:
The time I worked up the guts to actually ask you out. Remember that? Of course, we didn't call it a date at the time however."

You know that feeling when you're so happy that you're that sure if you should squeal or cry? That was the exact feeling Hoseok had at that moment. Quickly downing the cup of coffee and cringing slightly at the temperature. Looking up at the bookshelf across from where he stood, Hoseok beamed as he spotted the piece of paper that was now becoming familiar.

A box of pink hair dye stood on the shelf, the note taped to one of the books next to it.

"5. Pink hair dye:
Also known as a poor excuse to get you to run your fingers through my hair. Damn I was sly. However, you caused my dreams that night to be the most peaceful they're ever been."

Hoseok giggled, pausing at that spot for a moment as the excitement continued to course through his veins. Scanning the rooms and not seeing any more pieces of paper, he walked to the kitchen door. It was closed, the item and note on it making Hoseok 'aw' audibly.

Taped to the door was the picture Jungkook sneakily took only a few moments after Hoseok and Yoongi got together. Smiling and unsticking it from the door, Hoseok moved onto the note.

"5. Us:
Remember that picture Jungkook took of our first kiss? I printed it off because sometimes I think that I dreamt it up, but then you come around again and I'm reminded that this is definitely not a dream.

PS. You're final note lies behind this door."

Taking a deep breath and opening the door, Hoseok had to restrain himself from tackling his boyfriend over once he saw him leaning against the kitchen counter, grin evident. Walking over, Hoseok noticed the piece of paper taped to Yoongi's shirt and chuckled at the sheer cheesiness of it.

It read,

"7. Min Yoongi:
Your current boyfriend. He's a pretty lucky guy don't you think?"

Not even bothering to say anything, Hoseok basically launched himself into Yoongi's arms, the older laughing and complying to the hug gladly.

"How long did this take you?" Hoseok asked, voice fairly muffled by Yoongi's shoulder.

"I'm not going to tell you the exact time, but let's just say it was at an hour in the morning that Jungkook did not want to wake up at to let me in."

Giggling, Hoseok pulled away.

"I'm just... This is so..." He paused, Trying to think of the proper words to say. "I honestly have no idea what I did to deserve someone as amazing and thoughtful as you."

Yoongi blushed, straightening the halo of flowers atop Hoseok's head.

"I could say the same about you." He smiled.

Suddenly, Hoseok's eyes lit up.

"Oh wait! I got you something as well! Wait here!" He exclaimed, dashing out of room, causing Yoongi to shake his head and laugh.

A few moments later, Hoseok returned, a small box in hand. "Open it." He smiled, handing the box over to Yoongi.

Yoongi beamed opening the box and gasping slightly at the contents inside. Side by side were two necklaces, one having the pendant of a treble clef, the other a bass clef. "You mean so much to me Yoongi, and I just want to thank you for always being beside me, no matter if I'm at a high," he pointed to the treble clef, "or a low point in life." He pointed to the bass clef.

Picking up the necklace with the treble clef pendant he had Yoongi turn around as he clasped the necklace around his neck, Yoongi then doing the same to him with the other necklace.

"I honestly love you so much I swear." Yoongi whispered, pulling Hoseok in for a small kiss, intertwining their fingers together.

Pulling away, Hoseok smiled.

"And I love you."

buT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

So because I hit 10k reads (actually 11k now holy shit) here's a mini qna woo:

How old are you?

Turning 14 this April :)

What career do you want if you don't already have one?

When I'm older, I definitely want to travel to Korea and teach English there:

What are your favourite groups?

Well, as for girl groups; I love Red Velvet, Miss A, 4Minute and Twice.
Boy groups; BTS, EXO, Seventeen, Got7, BigBang, Shinee and Day6 are my favourites.

As for non kpop; I absolutely love All Time Low, Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots and Panic! at the Disco.

How did you get into writing?

I've always loved writing actually, since as long as I can remember. And then I learned that fanfiction existed and boom,
This happened.
