Chapter 5- Blosoming Friendship

Who knew that Friday would arrive so fast. Taehyung was looking forward to spending time with Jungkook. Throughout the week Taehyung had gotten to know Jimin and Mina more. He was growing very fond of the two people.

After his class, Taehyung followed Jungkook's instructions and went to Jungkook and Yoongi's dorm room. But first he went back to his dorm and he changed into a loose hoodie that went down to his thighs and a pair of jeans that fit tightly against his beautiful figure. Taehyung went to the room he'd missed for the past couple days. He didn't know why he missed the room, it just seemed comfortable to him. The room was nice and cozy, even though there were satanic things covering the walls, Taehyung still enjoyed the look and feel of the room. When he knocked on the door, Jungkook almost immediately opened the door. He was wearing a low cut v neck shirt that showed his tattoos on his chest. His jeans were tight and black, and they fit his muscly thighs perfectly.

"Hey Tae" Jungkook smiled and moved out of the way so Taehyung could walk into his room.

"Hi Jungkook" Taehyung smiled.

"Ready for today?" Jungkook chuckled.

"You betcha" Taehyung smiled and walked into Jungkook's dorm. He sat down on Jungkook's bed and sat his backpack on the floor. He didn't care about bringing his bag with him, all it contained was a large sketchbook and drawing pencils. Jungkook grabbed a few items and joined Taehyung on the bed. He sat cross legged and placed a book, statue, and a pendant in between the two of them. Taehyung turned to face Jungkook, and he sat the same way as the boy in front of him.

"Where do you wanna start?" Jungkook asked. He didn't know how much Taehyung knew about the religion.

"How about we start with the basics. I looked some stuff up the other day." Taehyung really didn't know where to start, so he figured from the beginning would be the best.

"Doing your homework I see?" Jungkook chuckled and grabbed one of the items. "Do you know what this is?" He held up a statue that stood a bit taller than a foot.

"Isn't that supposed to be Satan?" Taehyung looked at the statue. It had the head of a goat, with the torso of a human, it had the breasts of a female, and the legs of a goat, it also had wings and it's right hand raised.

"Well, sorta. This is just symbol of him. The exact name for the being is Baphomet. Do you know how people have statues of like, Jesus and Budda?" Taehyung nodded. "This is exactly like that." Jungkook set down the Baphomet statue and picked up a book. "Know what this is?" Jungkook held the book for Taehyung to see it.

"Well," Taehyung paused, "it says on the cover that it's The Satanic Bible. So I'm gonna take a chance and say it's the Satanic Bible." Jungkook chuckled.

"Well, you're correct. This was written by Anton LaVey in 1969. And Anton LaVey is  the one who founded the Satanic Church in 1966." Jungkook tapped the book cover.

"Ah, ok" Taehyung nodded.

"Yeah, Anton LaVey is kinda like the dad of Satanism, 'cause he founded it." Jungkook chuckled and Taehyung nodded again.

"And this," Jungkook set down the book and picked up the pendant, "this is an inverted pentagram. As you can see, Baphomet's head is in the middle. The way that the two points of the star represents two horns." Jungkook pointed to the horns of the pendant.

"Yeah, I knew that's an inverted pentagram. I just didn't know that Baphomet's head fit inside." Taehyung was aware of inverted pentagrams and what they meant. He just wasn't sure the story behind it. "So...what now?"

"We can keep talking about this, or we could just hang out. I mean, did you eat yet?" Jungkook looked Taehyung in the eyes.

"N-no, I didn't. Why do you ask?" Taehyung cocked his head to the side.

"Why else would I ask? Let's go get something to eat. We can just talk about stuff too." Jungkook smiled and got off the bed.

"Oh, alright." Taehyung got off the bed and grabbed his things while Jungkook placed the items back to their spots from before. Jungkook grabbed his wallet and phone and then opened the door. He let Taehyung walk out of the dorm room and he closed the door behind him.

"Where do you wanna go?" Jungkook looked at Taehyung as they walked down the hallway.

"Oh, I don't know. I've only been to Punk's. I don't know any other places on campus." Taehyung kept his attention to the front of him and gripped his backpack straps harder.

"Then we can just go there. They've got good food." Jungkook smiled at Taehyung, but Taehyung wasn't looking at Jungkook. As the two walked out of the building and to the Café, the two didn't talk much.

When they arrived, Taehyung only ordered a coffee because that's all he could buy. He didn't think to grab his wallet when they left, so he was left with only a couple dollars.

"Not hungry?" Jungkook looked at Taehyung.

"No... I just don't have a lot of cash on me. I only have a few dollars." Taehyung shrugged. He didn't really mind though.

"It's alright, I'll pay," Jungkook grabbed his wallet out of his pocket. "Order what you want."

"No, I'm fine, really. It's okay!" Taehyung put his hands up and shook his head.

"Trust me, it'll be fine. Order something, or I'll order for you." Jungkook smiled. Taehyung felt bad having Jungkook pay for his food, but he also didn't want to argue with Jungkook because he could snap him in half in seconds.

Taehyung ordered his food and Jungkook ordered his. While the two waited, they didn't talk much. After their food was done, they sat down at a table and started eating. As Jungkook was eating, Taehyung noticed that Jungkook took enormous bites of his food. It was almost as if he wasn't even chewing. He swallowed his food with a huge gulp. Taehyung took small bites of his food and swung his legs back and forth slightly. They ate pretty much in complete silence. Taehyung looked at some of Jungkook's tattoos. Jungkook had a darker color scheme for his tattoos. Most of them were black and red. There was a huge rose on the back of his right hand.

"Did they hurt?" Taehyung broke the silence.

"Did what hurt?" Jungkook looked up from his food and gave Taehyung a questioning look.

"I m-meant your tattoos. I was looking at them, and I was just wondering." Taehyung felt dumb for not specifying his question.

"Nah, I got used to the pain after a little while." Jungkook shook his head as he talked.

"Ah, ok. I was just wondering." Taehyung looked back at his food.

"Yeah I know, you just said that." Jungkook chuckled a little and Taehyung looked up at him.

"I did?" Taehyung looked up at the male sitting across from him.

"Yeah, but it's ok" Jungkook smiled slightly. Taehyung sighed softly and turned back to his food.

The rest of the meal was quiet. The two just ate their food and didn't make much conversation. Taehyung was afraid of embarrassing himself. He had already repeated something that he had said, he didn't want to do it again.

As the two were finishing, someone approached their table. Jungkook didn't notice, but Taehyung did. When Taehyung looked up, he was met with a smiling Mina.

"Hey babe" Mina smiled at Taehyung and giggled slightly. Hearing the nickname Mina gave him, made Taehyung smile. But Jungkook on the other hand, whipped his head up at Mina so fast it almost looked like he hurt himself.

"Hi Mina!" Taehyung smiled brightly. He wasn't expecting one of his new friends to be at the same café as him especially on a Friday night.

Jungkook on the other hand, was confused. He heard the girl call Taehyung babe. "Isn't Taehyung like, super gay? Why would she call him babe?" Jungkook didn't know what to think other than Taehyung could be Bi, but that's all he could come up with. But he was taken from his thoughts when Taehyung said his name.

"Jungkook, this is Mina. She's an Art Major along with me. I have class with her every day." Taehyung looked over at Jungkook and smiled.

"Oh, uh, hi" Jungkook felt awkward. He was taken off guard by Taehyung's friend showing up. It seemed like he could never be with the boy without someone intruding. First Yoongi intruded on their convertsation last week, now Mina intruding during their dinner this week. Even though the two weren't talking much, it still bothered him slightly.

"So, whatcha two up to? Usually Jungkook flies solo without Yoongi to accompany him" Mina smirked at Jungkook.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jungkook tensed at the comment. Mina was annoying him, but he was trying his best to hide it, for Taehyung's sake of course. Jungkook knew that Taehyung was friends with the girl, and he didn't want to cause problems with his new friend. At least, Jungkook thought they were friends, but he didn't know how Taehyung felt.

"Usually Jungkook The Almighty isn't seen with other people around campus" Mina chuckled.

"Am I not allowed to? I mean sure, it's an odd sight. The schools 'bad boy' hanging out with the new kid who likes pink. I don't see a problem here. Taehyung can be friends with whomever he wants. I just happen to enjoy his company. And if you have a problem with that, I suggest you leave" Jungkook raised an eyebrow and nodded his head towards the door, suggesting that she leaves.

Taehyung was surprised at Jungkook's answer. He didn't know that Jungkook had grown fond of him, but he wasn't complaining though, he was actually quite happy. He liked Jungkook. Even though Jimin said that Jungkook could be a dick sometimes, but he hadn't had any problems with him. Jungkook has only been kind to him in the short amount of time they had known each other.

"Woah buddy, I don't have a problem. Just pickin' fun at ya. No hard feelings" Mina shrugged.

Jungkook hummed in response and started stacking the empty plates on the table to make it easier for the staff working.

"So Tae, who are you going to draw for the project?" The two had been assigned a project to draw a portrait of someone. They had just finished learning the basics of shading. So that lead to drawing faces next. It seemed like a large project, but it was quite simple. Just 'lots and lots of blending and shading' as Miss Son told the class.

"I'm not to sure yet. I was thinking of drawing Jimin. I see him all the time and I'm sure he wouldn't mind" Taehyung didn't really know who to draw. At the moment, his pink haired roommate seemed to be the best option. "But I might make more friends by the time it's due, so I should be ok."

Mina nodded at Taehyung. He was right, he probably would find some new friends and be able to sketch them. If not, he would spend a weekend at home and sketch his mother. She would agree to help with anything he had to do for school.

"Yeah I've got someone in mind." Mina smiled at Taehyung. And Jungkook was just sitting there playing on his phone, but he was still listening to the conversation that was going on in front of him. "But, what does Miss Son mean by 'capture the person in a natural state'? Cause I have no idea what that means." Mina laughed a little.

"I think she meant that we need to draw said person in a pure state of emotion. It can't be a drawing of someone with a faked smile, ya know? It's gotta be real." Taehyung smiled as he answered. He knew what Miss Son meant. The person being drawn couldn't be faking the emotion on their face. It had to be genuine, not plastic.

Mina nodded and sighed. "Well, it was nice talking. I'm gonna go now" she smiled and waved as she walked away from the table.

Taehyung turned back to the male sitting in front of him. Jungkook was still on his phone.

"Sorry about that. I had no clue she was going to be here" Taehyung chuckled a little.

"It's fine" Jungkook smiled and put his phone down. He stood up and grabbed a piece of paper. "I'll be right back. I've gotta pay for the food." And with that, Jungkook walked off. Within a minute or two, Jungkook came back. "Ready to go?"

Taehyung nodded at him and stood up. The two walked out of Punk's and headed towards their dorm building. As they were walking, they talked about random things. Taehyung learned that Jungkook was a year younger than him, and was a photography major.

Just as Taehyung was talking about something, Jungkook's phone started ringing.

"Oh, sorry. I gotta take this." Jungkook pointed to his phone and Taehyung nodded.

The two kept walking, but at a slower pace. All Taehyung could hear was Jungkook's side of the conversation.

"Hey boss, what's up?" As the person on the other line spoke, Jungkook's jaw clenched and he furrowed his eyebrows. "Are you serious?" Jungkook huffed in a frustrated tone. Taehyung didn't know what was happening, but he figured that he would ask after the call was over. "Namjoon, this is the fourth time she's canceled on me. I can't have her reschedule over and over again. I have my own life and I make plans with people. She's acting like she can waltz on in anytime and think I'm going to be there to do this damn tattoo." Jungkook huffed again. "I can't make it that day, I'm hanging out with someone." There was a paused before he spoke again. "Joon, I'll figure it out tomorrow at the shop, I'm with someone right now." Jungkook licked his lip slightly. "Yeah, alright...bye" he ended the call and put his phone in his pocket. He sighed and ran his hands through his hair.

"I fucking hate people" Jungkook scoffed and shook his head.

"Why? What happened?" Taehyung looked up and Jungkook.

"This one chick keeps canceling her appointment and it's really pissing me off. I'm just gonna tell her no soon." Jungkook shook his head again. "My boss told me she scheduled it for next Sunday, but as you heard, I'm hanging out with someone." The two finally reached the building. Jungkook opened the door for Taehyung and the two continued walking.

"Who are you hanging out with?" Taehyung looked at Jungkook again.

"Well, I was hoping you. I just hadn't asked you yet" Jungkook chuckled and put his hand on his neck nervously. Taehyung couldn't help but smile. He thought Jungkook's reaction was cute. The way his cheeks turned a light hue of pink made Taehyung feel warm on the inside.

"Yeah, I'm free. I'd love to hang out." Taehyung giggled slightly.

"Really? That's great!" Jungkook smiled happily as the two had just officially made plans to hang out again. The two boys made their way to the hallway that contained their dorm rooms. Jungkook walked Taehyung to his room to say their goodbyes. As they were standing outside of Taehyung's room, the two boys could hear music and someone singing.

"Must be Jimin, hehe" Taehyung laughed slightly and waved at Jungkook while he opened the door.

"Taehyung! Get your bitchass in here!!" Jungkook laughed to himself as he hear the other boy yelling at Taehyung.

As Taehyung walked into the dorm, he was met with an excited Jimin.

"TaeTae! Guess what!" Jimin was all but jumping around.

"What happened?" Taehyung knew it was probably something important to his roommate.

"Yoongi asked me out!"
