It had been a couple days since Jungkook and Taehyung were at Tae's house for their break and today was Thanksgiving.

Jungkook and Taehyung were currently helping out Tae's mom make food. It was going to be just the three of them, at least that they knew of. They were going to eat in the mid afternoon, around 3ish.

They had made filling, a small turkey, and a large variety of vegetables. Taehyung insisted on making an apple pie, along with a pumpkin pie for dessert.

Seulgi asked the two to set the table, so that when they were ready to eat, they could.

Around two in the afternoon, there was a knock on the door. Taehyung ran to see who it was. But when he opened it, he frowned slightly.

"Hi TaeTae! It's been a while!" The male said.

"Yeah, as in 6 years. What do you want Baekhyun" Taehyung deadpanned.

"Why don't you sound happy? I thought you'd be happy to see me after all this time" Baekhyun said with a smile.

"Well, maybe I would be a little more happy if you didn't fucking disown me like the rest of the family did" Taehyung spat.

"Tae, who is it?" A voice from inside the house asked.

"It's no one" he answered and started to close the door.

"Tae, wait!" He said and put his foot in the door. "I need to talk to you about that. I'm sorry" he said and Tae stopped closing the door.

"What makes you think that I care at this point? Baek, look, I quite honestly just wanna enjoy my holiday with my mother, can I please do that?" Taehyung stated.

"Can we just talk first? It'll only take a couple minutes, I need to get some things off of my chest" The male said and sighed.

"Fine, let me just tell my mom I need to take care of something" Tae said and closed the door softly. He walked inside the house and went straight towards the kitchen.

"Ah Tae, you're back" Jungkook said with a smile.

"Not for long" the elder said and frowned slightly. "I need to go handle something real quick" he said and Jungkook gave him a questioning look.

"Is everything ok?" His mother asked as she popped up from out of nowhere.

"Ummm, so... Baekhyun is here... and he said he wanted to talk to me about something" Tae sighed.

"Oh... that's quite odd" his mother said. "Let me know if you need anything" his mother said and walked towards her son. She kissed the side of his head and rubbed his back.

"Ok well, we are gonna go talk on the porch. I'll be back soon" Taehyung said and went back to his cousin.

"Who's Baekhyun?" Jungkook asked Seulgi.

"He's one of Tae's cousins. After he came out, he completely stopped seeing him" Tae's mother sighed.

"Oh, that's horrible" Jungkook said and frowned.

"It was really rough for Tae, he loves Baekhyun greatly. The were very close before he ghosted Tae completely" Seulgi said and shook her head. Jungkook frowned and went back to helping with the food.

Taehyung on the other hand, was pissed and upset at the same time. He had sat down a couple feet away from his cousin.

"Why sit so far away? I'm not going to hurt you" Baekhyun said softly.

"I thought you were afraid of catching it" Taehyung spat.

"Tae look, I never wanted to abandon you. After you came out, my mom and dad forced me to disown you. I was afraid of what they would do if I didn't listen to them. I was afraid for myself. I was so afraid, that I couldn't even think about how horrible you must have been feeling" Baekhyun stated.

Taehyung sucked in a breathe, holding it in, forcing himself to keep his tears in.

"I knew you thought I hated you, but I never have and I never will. I don't care that you're gay, and that my family is homophobic. I love you for you, not for your sexual preference. Fuck my parents for being close minded, and forcing me to stay away from you. Fuck them for not seeing how amazing you are, and fuck them for being unsupportive. That's not how family works" Baekhyun stated, visibly angry. "I feel so so horrible because I missed out on so much of your life. I know I'm only a year older than you, but I missed watching you grow up, I missed you questioning who you are, I missed hearing about your days after school, and I missed being there for you. I never wanted it to turn out this way" he said shakily and sucked in a breathe. "I hope you can accept my apology... I don't expect you to forgive me, but I wanted you to know that it wasn't my plan to abandon you" he cried out. He slumped forward, putting his face in his hands, and let out shaky breathes.

Taehyung wiped a tear from his cheek and moved towards his cousin. He simply took Baekhyun into his arms, and let the boy cry. He'd never knew the amount of guilt he had because of this. Of course Tae felt bad, and there was no reason he couldn't forgive Baekhyun.

"I feel so... pathetic. I couldn't even stand up for you" Baekhyun cried. Taehyung just rubbed his back and let Baekhyun get all of his pent up emotions go.

"Don't feel bad, I know you weren't the reason behind leaving. I've come to terms with the family not liking me and that I'm gay. But I'm glad that you came and cleared everything. I'm happy to be able to have you back in my life again, but only if you're up for it of course" Tae said softly and stroked Baekhyun's hair slightly.

"Of course I wanna be back in your life" Baekhyun sniffled. "I love you, Tae."

"I love you too, Baek."

The two hugged each other tightly, and sat on the porch for about a half an hour, just catching up about things in general.

When they felt that they'd caught up enough, Taehyung invited Baekhyun to say hello to his mother, considering he hasn't seen her in six years.

Baekhyun was going to decline, but then he realized that he didn't need to try and stay away from Taehyung and Seulgi. He'd made peace with his demons about what happened, so he wanted to have a new start with his family.

"Mama, where is Kooks?"Taehyung asked as he poked his head into this kitchen. She pointed her finger towards the ceiling, saying he was upstairs. "Oh well can you come here for a minute?" His mother looked up from what she was doing and went to the living room.

"What's up, Tae?" She asked, but then noticed Baekhyun sitting on one of the couches. "Oh Baekhyun, it's been quite a while. What made you want to drop by?" Seulgi asked.

"I came here to apologize about what happened those couple years ago. I didn't want to leave like I did, my parents made me. And honestly I'm ok with them being upset with me reconnecting with Taehyung. You guys are a bit more important to me now" Baekhyun said with a soft smile.

"Oh well that's great, I'm glad everything is alright now" Tae's mom said happily. "But aren't your parents worried about where you are? It is Thanksgiving and I would think they would want you home."

"I haven't talked to them in a week. When I asked them for your address, the freaked out. I've been ignoring them since, so I don't think I wanna go today to have a peaceful meal" Baekhyun chuckled.

"Oh well then you can eat with us. We have plenty for another person" Tae's mom stated with a large smile.

"Are you two sure? I don't want to intrude."

"Of course! Please Baek?" Tae asked with wide eyes.

"I guess I can" Baekhyun agreed.

"Awe yes" Taehyung said and did a small fist pump into the air. "I'll be right back" he said and quickly ran upstairs to his room. He opened the door and saw Jungkook laying on his bed, playing on his phone.

"Hey, everything all good?" Jungkook asked and put down his phone.

"Mmhmm, he came to apologize about something, but we're all good now. But I want you to come and meet him because he's gonna stay to eat with us" Tae said with a bright smile.

"Ok, give me a quick second and I'll be down" Jungkook said and picked up his phone again.

"You don't have to rush, we'll be down in the living room" Taehyung said and left his room. He went back downstairs with his mom and cousin to wait for Jungkook.

Jungkook finished up what he was doing and set his phone on the bedside table next to Tae's bed, and made his way downstairs.

When he got downstairs Tae was sitting next to another guy, and Seulgi was sitting on one of the chairs.

"So Baekhyun, this is Jungkook, I go to school with him. Jungkook this is Baekhyun, my cousin" Taehyung introduced the two to each other.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you" Jungkook said with a smile and walked over to the two boys with his hand held out for Baekhyun to shake his hand.

"It's nice to meet you too" Baekhyun said with a smile and shook Jungkook's hand.

"Well, I think now would be a great time to eat" Mrs. Kim said and stood up from her seat and went to the kitchen.

"I agree" Tae said and followed his mom to the kitchen, leaving Jungkook and Baekhyun to follow.

All four took the food to the table and sat down. Baekhyun went first getting food, then Seulgi, then Tae, and Jungkook went last.

They all ate together, talking about anything and everything. Baekhyun and Jungkook got to know each other, and Taehyung was so excited that the two were getting along so well.

Everyone was getting along and laughing together about random things. Taehyung for once finally felt like he had a family more than his mother and him.

After about an hour and a half, everyone was done eating, and they were putting away all of the extra food and were cleaning dishes.

Jungkook was cutting the rest of the meat off of the turkey, Tae was cleaning the dishes, and Seulgi was cleaning the table off.

"Tae, can we go on a little walk really quick? I wanna talk to you about something" Baekhyun asked.

"Yeah, of course" Tae answered and finished up the dishes he was washing. The two boys put on their shoes and hoodies. They left the house, and walked around Taehyung's neighborhood.

"So, you can't really tell anyone about this" Baekhyun started. "But I think I might be bi..." he said softly. Taehyung stopped walking, letting what his cousin said, process.

"Really?" Tae asked in disbelief. "What makes you think that?"

"So there's a guy I'm friends with, but I'm pretty sure I like him more than a friend. But I don't really know" Baekhyun sighed.

"Then just ask him out. You'll never know if you experiment. And I'm sure if he likes you too, he'd be willing to help you" Taehyung said and patted Baekhyun's shoulder. "Call him."

"Wait, right now?"

"Yeah, why not? I'm here for support. And if it doesn't go well, we can sit on the sofa eating ice cream while we watch random movies" Tae said with a soft smile.

"Ugh, Fine" Baekhyun huffed and took out his phone. He hit the contact on his phone, and called. As it was ringing, he tapped the speaker button so Taehyung could hear.

"Baekhyunnie~" The male on the other line cooed softly. Tae could see a small blush rise on his cousin's cheeks.

"Hey Chanyeol" he chuckled. "So I wanted to let you know I smoothed everything over with my cousin. He's forgiven me" Baekhyun stated proudly.

"Awe that's great! I knew you could do it" Chanyeol happily replied.

"But that's not why I called" Baekhyun said softly, biting his lip slightly as he became more nervous. Tae just gave him a small thumbs up.

"Oh? What's up then, cinnamon roll?" Chanyeol asked with a small chuckle.

"Well... I was wondering if you'd like to go see a movie with me next Wednesday?" Baekhyun asked softly.

"I would love to" Chanyeol replied. Baekhyun took a couple seconds to process what Chanyeol said, but when he he realized that he agreed, his eyes went wide.

"Wait, really?" Baekhyun asked.

"Yes, really" Chanyeol laughed. "What time should I pick you up?"

"O-oh, I didn't think this far, I didn't think you were gonna say yes. How about... noon?" Baekhyun laughed awkwardly.

"Sounds great to me" Chanyeol stated.

"Oh wow, um.... I guess that's all then..." Baekhyun trailed. Chanyeol could only chuckle at Baekhyun being awkward.

"I guess so. I'll see you Wednesday, Baekhyunnie."

"Right... uh, bye Channie!" Baekhyun giggled.

"Aish, you're cute. Bye now" Chanyeol laughed softly and hung up.

"See there you go!" Tae said with a huge smile.

"I didn't expect that to happen, holy shit" Baekhyun said softly and shook his head in disbelief.

"Well it did, so now you have a date next Wednesday, good job!" Tae exclaimed.

"Yeah, I guess I do" Baekhyun smiled.

The two started walking back to Tae's house. When they got back, Jungkook and Seulgi were talking about something, but when they saw Tae and Baekhyun, they acted like they weren't talking about anything.

Baekhyun stayed for about another hour before having to leave. He said his goodbyes to everyone. Taehyung and him exchanged their numbers so they could continue to keep in contact with each other.

It was now about 8 o'clock at night. Taehyung was feeling super tired after eating such a large meal. Him and Jungkook were watching random things on TV in the living room as Mrs. Kim was showering.

Taehyung let his head rest on Jungkook's shoulder while they sat together. He yawned softly and shut his eyes and snuggled into the younger male.

Jungkook smiled when Tae cuddled into his side. He put his arm around the elder, causing Tae to put his head on the younger's chest.

"Tired?" Jungkook asked.

"Yeah" Taehyung answered softly.

"Wanna go up to your bed?"

"Mmhmm" Tae hummed.

"Okay" Jungkook said and turned off the television. He shifted his body so he was facing Taehyung. He slipped one of his arms under Tae's legs, and kept his other arm at Tae's back. He lifted Taehyung into his lap before standing up with the elder in his arms.

Taehyung wrapped his arms around Jungkook's neck as the younger carried him up the stairs bridal style.

When they got to Tae's room, Jungkook set Taehyung down on his bed and put a pair of sweatpants on while Tae changed into his pajamas.

The two crawled into bed together and laid down. Taehyung rolled over and snuggled into Jungkook's side.

"Do you wanna go Black Friday shopping with me tomorrow?" Taehyung asked and put his arm around Jungkook's stomach.

"Sure. What time do you want to get up?" Jungkook asked.

"Around 5. I need to shower super early so we can get to the one store around 7. They're selling laptops super super cheap, and I need to get a new one" Tae said and yawned again.

"Sounds good to me. I don't really need anything, but I'll come with" Jungkook said with a small smile and set an alarm on his phone.

The two laid together silently. Taehyung was the first to fall asleep. Jungkook wasn't very tired, but he enjoyed just laying with Tae as he slept. Taehyung looked so peaceful while he was sleeping, and Jungkook thought he was absolutely adorable.

Jungkook ran his fingers through Taehyung's hair a couple times before actually deciding to go to sleep so he's not super tired for the long day of shopping.

The younger wrapped both of his arms around Taehyung and pulled their bodies closer. He kissed Tae's forehead softly before resting his head on the pillow and closing his eyes.
