'TREAD LIGHTLY!ANY LITTLE NOISE CAN SET HER OFF!'

O slowly walked in and made sure to shut the door quietly.
"Your late (name)......" she growled as she spun around to face me.Here eyes held nothing but anger and pure rage.But then i noticed something....about her left eye.....There was what looked like a spider web trailing down a little.She was also for some reason wearing a hood that covered her long light green hair.

"I-im sorry!I was out with some friends!-"She cut me off

"Fine......but there's something i need to as you......What happened the other day with All Might...."I started sweating bullets as the memories came back to me.

'oh no!.'

"W-Well.....Ya see.....the thing is.....um...-"

"Hey Minerva."I heard a voice call from outside.M'ladys eyes grew wide.She immediately took my arm and dragged me into my room.

"Your grounded for 3 hours.STAY HERE!" she then slammed the door.

I stood there in shock.....why is she so upset?Who was that at the door?Why was she dressed up?

Minerva's POV

I opened the door and was met with the face of my friend Toshinori.He took some time to examen me, he had noticed how much my body had changed.I had slowly lowered my hood revealing that my long light green locks that had once reached my mid-thigh is now short and black.He gasped loud but I quickly covered his mouth.

I then mouth the words 'she doesn't know'.He slowly nodded in response.

"*sigh*Lets go, you ready?"I asked him as I got my purse."I've been ready."Toshinori chuckled as I walked out the door.

TIMESKIP!

We went to a fancy Resturant not too far from where me and (Name) live.Luckily there was no wait.Once we took our seats, our waiter took our drink orders.After that it was quiet between us, Toshinori decided to break the silence.

"So Minerva.....what happened on your 'trip to America' "He asked.I looked down in shame, how could I be so careless.....

"......Yuma has a sidekick......He had a quirk similar to mine.....he controlled spiders......I was able to take care of him.....but he decided to leave me a parting gift....."

"And what was that?"

"Ok!I have your drinks!"Our waiter interrupted he put down our drinks and took our order.Once he left, we continued our little chat. "He  passed me his quirk....."I looked down.

"hmmm....."

"And the problem with that is that his quirk rejected me as somewhat of a host and it's killing me slowly.I should be dead in about a month from now."I felt my eyes fill with tears.Toshinori stayed silent. "A-And.....I think.....Yuma...wants her daughter back...."I added as tears started to flow from my eyes. "Minerva......"Toshinori muttered. "I'm sure recovery girl can help you.....I understand that you're scared......especially for (name).....you feel like you aren't gonna be there in time to save her.....or can save her....I'm sure that's what you're thinking."His words....where right on the dot.....When I took (name) away from Yuma.....She was always scared of everything.When I looked into her eyes, it was horrible.She looked like she was a pure white lamb that was sacrificed to this big bad world of ours.The day I took her from Yuma I swore I would give her a life that every child deserves, a life.....with no pain.....no suffering.....She had already experienced the worst this world had to offer......she doesn't need to experience anything like it anymore......and she shouldn't know about the pain she had endured her whole life, so I had someone take her memories.

"I know that you can protect her.And worse comes to worse, I'll help you protect her."He grabbed my hands that were covering my face and looked me in the eyes. "Because thats what friends do, they help each other when things get tough.I promise that I'll help you protect her with my life."My eyes widened as a small blush tinted my cheeks. "T-thank you......"

We finished our meals and I ordered something for (name) to eat as well.Toshinori wanted to pay for everything but I still paid for my meal and (name's) meal.I thanked Toshinori for joining me for dinner as he dropped me off.When I entered the apartment all the lights were off. 'It's only 9:30.....Is (name) asleep?' I snuck into her room and saw she was asleep.A small smile grew on my face.

(name) POV

I woke up at 6:30 so I could eat something before I went to school, I made my way to the fridge and saw a box of food and a note.

'Sorry (name), I can't eat breakfast with you this morning.Got you something last night, hope you like it!'

I looked inside the box and saw Green Bean Casarol .'yum!'After I ate, I decided to take a shower and got dressed.I looked in the mirror and fixed my hair, once I was pleased with my look, I started to make my way to school.
