Dear Julius,

Amara is such a great big sister! Even if she was pretty cruel during the days of the Confederate, I know she's trying her best to change. I think she's already done a good job of it!

She told me she had a flashback of the Civil War, and in vivid detail. She was afraid that I hated her after all that she did. But I still love her, a whole lot, because she's my big sister, and I look up to her!

And with that, I also told her how I got my scar on my shoulder after keeping it a secret for so many years... She took it well, but even Amara admitted that she would be angry when she was younger at me. I didn't expect for her not to be mad when she was still the Confederate.

Also, Francis snuck into our house and started kissing Amara, and she kissed back! I might've fainted once or twice, or like a couple times...

Point is, Francis and I are going to have a talk man to man tomorrow.
