this is my entry for floralifex 's cover contest: The Voice of Covers, the Blind Auditions.

so I messed around a lot before making a final edition.
first I thought I wanted to make a cover in the Romance genre.

didn't work out. I didn't like them, wasn't proud of them so I stalked pinterest for some inspiration.

then I got another idea, which was more of a fantasy/thriller cover. this cover took me way too long but it was much more fun than making homework - which was my other option.

first of all, here are the pictures I used:

I started by making the background.

then I started making silhouettes of the claws, the horns and the girl, putting it all together in one silhouette:

then it was time to mix it all together like a smoothie.

I added an endless amount of filters, slapped on some text (THANKS NIEN FOR GIVING ME TIPS HERE, UR MY HERO) and then added some claw marks until...

I'm also realizing now that the subtitle is a little dark, but it fitted the colour scheme better this way.
