Adil's POV:
It was Friday evening, and everyone in the house was getting ready excitedly to leave for Hyderabad.
"Did you keep everything correctly? Have a check again," Khaleed Abbu instructed Aru Mamma, who was just nodding robotically and doing her work.
"You are excited to go to Hyderabad more than everyone. What is the reason?" I asked Sameer skeptically, as I see him as way more excited than others.
"Yes, I am excited. Why wouldn't I be?" He asked back in a clear-cut manner.
"If you have forgotten, we all are going for my sake and you have self invited here so now spill the beans," I stated and asked him straightforwardly
"Arey, yo...you ar...are my brother.....brother, so I am...am eag..eager ttt...tto mee...meet my Bh...bhabhi", he stuttered. Something is fishy about his behaviour.
Ignoring, I started packing my laptop back into my bag because I knew I could not leave my work, and when he said "Bhabhi," it made me think of her.
How quickly life can change and you are not even sure what to do next. A part of me wants to stop everything and tell everyone how I feel, but I even do not know where she is or how to get in touch with her. Is she single or married?
With the exception of Saanu, everyone in my family is thrilled about the match, so I do not even have the courage to turn them down.
Saniya is still not talking to me, which is to be expected since she believes that it is my fault for not standing up for my own love. However, I have no idea where she is, so how can I tell everyone about her and spoil there mood. I have left everything to Allah SWT; indeed, he knows the best.
Hyderabad
"Jiju, you can take Affu Di to that room to rest while Adil and I go get something to eat." As soon as we arrived at Sameer's house, he said and brought some grocery bags from the kitchen.
Due to her 7-month pregnancy, Di was extremely tired from the trip, so Mamma asked them to stay here. Jiju, who is equally terrified by looking at Di's situation agreed to Mamma's offer and came to stay here with us
As we were shopping for groceries, "Bro, can you take these all and go home? I have some work I shall complete and comeback", Before I could respond, Sameer looked at his phone and left. He has been acting strangely ever since we came to Hyderabad.
As everything necessary was packed, I went to a nearby restaurant to grab something to eat for everyone and went home.
"Mamma, these are the groceries you asked for, and this is the pack of biryani for us to eat now." I handed over all the items and went to Sameer's room to freshen up; yes, we are sharing the room as the other three rooms are already occupied.
Everyone was having lunch when I arrived at the dining area, so I hurriedly grabbed a chair and took a seat as well.
" Ruksana Aunty has called for lunch tomorrow; if we start by 11:00 am, we can reach there by 12:30 pm. I guess that will be fine." When Danish Jiju explained the plan for tomorrow, we all agreed, and then we retired to our rooms to rest.
It was about 6:00 pm when Jiju came inside and asked worriedly, "Adil, could you please do me a favour?"
I tensed up at his worried expression and said, "Yes, Jiju, why are you looking worried? Is Di okay?"
"Afsha is resting currently. Actually, Ruksana Aunty has prepared dinner for us and called to let me pick it up, but I am unable to go because of an emergency meeting. Could you please go get it if you can?"
"Jiju, Me? I don't know the address," I retorted nervously. I am not sure why, but just hearing Ruksana Aunty's name reminded me of tomorrow's meeting, and on top of that, I have to go to their house right now.
Jiju recognised my anxiety and said, "I know it is awkward for you to go there, and I am sorry Adil for putting yourself in that situation. I am asking you because I do not know when the meeting will end, and it is very urgent." Jiju answered sadly.
"It is alright, Jiju, send me the address so I can go." I agreed and prepared to go there because I felt guilty seeing him like that. Let's see about them as well, which made my family like them.

Author's POV:
A man around the age of his late 20s was sitting at one of the cosiest tables in the cafe, tapping his car keys impatiently on the table while glancing towards the entrance, as if he were waiting for someone.
An hour later, a lady came inside the cafe, which made the man relax, and he stood up to welcome her. Finally, the person for whom he was waiting has arrived.
She angrily retorted, "Why did you call me here?" to which he simply shrugged his shoulders and moved the chair forward to get her to sit. With a sigh, she sat down, and the man turned to sit on the other side.
After giving respective orders, the man finally spoke: "It's been a while since we met. How are you? I really missed you."
Glaring towards him, "So you finally missed me. Huh, what happened to the great lawyer who only knew how to work? Do you even have time to remember me?" She angrily responded, getting up from the seat.
He quickly got up along with her and said, "Listen to me; please don't leave." He begged so desperately that, in the end, her heart melted, and she sat on the chair again.
"I am aware that, at the time, I made fun of your proposal and hurt you. It was really a foolish thing to tease you and leave you. After you left, I realised how important you are to me. I have taken you as granted till now but please give me one chance to rectify my mistake. Please," he guiltily replied, placing his hands on his ears and making everyone in the cafe turn towards him.
"What are you doing? Everyone is staring at us," she said, taking his hands off his ears.
"Let them see, I don't care; you first tell me. Did you forgive me or not?" he pleaded again, ignoring the glares of everyone.
"Give me some time," she replied, lowering her gaze.
It was not easy for her to forgive him. After all, she had been in love with him for five years, and she had given him her all. However, when she finally found the strength to confess her feelings to him, he taunted her and labelled her as infatuated, which permanently damaged her heart. Now that he has come back to her, she is unable to forgive him for his actions, and even if she did, she would no longer be able to act like friends in front of him.
"Ok, take as much time as you want. I know it is a big mistake, but please at least communicate with me like you did before. I can not take it any longer. "Please," he requested.
"I will try," she said as she stood up from the chair and left the cafe. He was unable to stop her this time; instead, he just sat there and watched as she moved away from him.
Sometimes you realise your feelings when everything is lost. She was his best friend, and he believed that was all he felt. He was shocked when she proposed to him, and he played down her feelings by telling her and himself that it was only infatuation. This caused her such great pain that she ended their friendship. When she left his life, his heart raced, letting him realise how much he loved her. He has been missing her ever since she left, finding it impossible to live without her.

Neha's POV:
"Everyone was complimenting the half saree you designed yesterday. It was so comfortable and stylish," Ayesha was telling me about the compliments and praise she received yesterday.
"I am glad you liked it and it was comfortable for you," I said hesitantly. Getting compliments makes me feel awkward, and I am not sure how to respond.
"Arey, my shy queen, don't feel overwhelmed by these compliments; you deserve them all."
"Ok, ok, leave it. When are you returning, by the way?" I asked her, diverting the topic.
"My train is scheduled for the evening; primarily at midnight I will reach there. I have to receive your in-laws as well. How can I miss it?" She exclaimed in response.
"They are not my in-laws yet. Do not get too excited," I shot back.
"Yaar, why you are being so lousy. Okay, so your issue is that they are coming here for the proposal. It is not fixed yet, so why are you acting irritable?"
"I know it, but you know na I am kind of nervous for tomorrow," I finally said, expressing my worries.
"Of course, that makes sense, but they are not strangers. You have met Afsha Bhabhi's family before, so why are you nervous?" She attempted to calm me down.
"Yes, that is the reason I am afraid; they are the known ones and what if our ideologies don't match and as a result, what if even previous relations get spoilt?"
"What if he is the one and the relations get stronger after the marriage?" Ayesha tried to show me the other prospective.
"Look, Neha, sometimes it is necessary to let go of our emotions and trust Allah SWT—he is the greatest planner of all."
"Hmm, you are..." as I was replying I heard few voices from downstairs in the living room, curiosity took over me.
"Ayesha will call you later", I was about to disconnect the call to check the guest.
"Hey wait, I forgot to tell you the reason for my call." She interrupted me before I could disconnect the call.
"What is it?" I asked, attempting to look from the living room to glance at the mysterious guest.
"I need an outfit for a high-profile north Indian wedding; it is not assigned yet, but there are higher chances that it will be assigned to our team. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will help me in my promotion." Ayesha was talking about something, but I was glancing in the living room, trying to catch a glimpse of the person who was talking to Ammi and Pappa all the time.
"Ok, Ok, I got it; I will work on it", stating that I disconnected the call without waiting for her reply and went downstairs.
"Thanks for coming, Beta. I am glad to meet you. I hope you enjoy the food." Ammi and Papa were standing in the door's foyer when I went down, and the mysterious man had already turned to go, making me unable to see his face.
Quickly, I went near Ammi as she was making her way back to the living room. I tried to gather my composure and asked them as politely as possible, "Ammi, who was he, and why did you give the tiffin carriage to him?"
"Beta, he was Afsha's brother Adil. Afsha's health has gotten worse because of the travel, so I decided to cook and send some home-made food for her to relax with," she said, walking to the kitchen, and here I was, standing in the same spot, staring at the door.
What happened to me? It was unusual for me to become interested in someone, let alone be curious about the person who would be making the proposal the following day. Shrugging off the inward thoughts, I went upstairs to my room.
