Araminta didn't even notice he was slipping away from her until she lost him.

        Picture this: one minute, she's stargazing in another continent, her fingers intertwined with her boyfriend's as they pick out shapes in the dazzling cosmos and talk about the future — and whether or not they'll even have one together. For the first time in months — and for probably the last time — it felt like everything was right in the world. And for a minute, just for a brief minute, she thinks she might finally have an understanding of what it truly means to love someone.

The next minute, though, he's gone. He just walked away, without even giving her so much as a glance over his shoulder. Had he been planning this the whole time? To just abandon her, and try to handle this all on his own, like the stupid suicidal maniac he was? How many signs had been there? How many signs had she ignored, too afraid to accept the truth that she was losing him?

When Araminta was sixteen, she finally got to see the sea. After years of living in fear, wondering if she was ever going to get the chance to live in a world where she any day could be her last, she finally got to venture beyond the walls, and see the ocean. She was a fool for thinking that was the end of everything, a fool for believing the promise she made with him that day to always stick by each others' side would hold true.

It wasn't the end. In fact, it was just beginning of the end. When Eren learned that the people responsible for all of the hardships the Eldians faced were out there, just across the sea, there was no way he was ever going to rest until he had wiped them all off of the face of the Earth. Araminta knew him well enough to know that, but she was so happy, she didn't want to think about the future awaiting them.

       She could ignore it all she wanted, but that didn't stop it from happening. The year is 854, which means it's been 9 years since it all started. 9 years since the Warriors of Marley launched their attack on Paradis, and 9 years since she watched her father and sister die in front of her. The day they reclaimed Shiganshina was always the day she thought would be the day she would be able to say she avenged her family properly. Upon visiting the Jaeger's basement, though, she knew it wasn't true.

        The only way she'll be able to properly avenge the deaths of her family is to go to the place where it all started. The Scout Regiment began to plan an attack on Marley, the nation that's responsible for the Titan that ate her sister, and the one that squished her father.

         After they reclaimed Shiganshina, she learned all about her family lineage, and her relation to the Tybur family, a.k.a. the only respected family in all of Marley. The Tybur family was also the current holder of the War Hammer Titan, and in the midst of their attack, Araminta was all set to inherit it. Which means she would transform into a Titan, and eat whoever the current holder was.

        If there's one thing Araminta should expect in her life though, she should expect for things to go wrong. Since the moment she was born, things have always gone wrong for her.  She should have known the raid on Marley would be no different. Now, Araminta is searching for a reason to keep fighting. Her best friend is gone, her boyfriend (if she can even call him that anymore) is in jail, but hey, at least she completed her mission, right?

        Araminta knows what she has to do, though. It's what she's always done, and it was the thing that will always draw her and Eren to one another. No matter what the situation is, no matter how many odds may be stacked against them, Eren and Araminta will always do the same thing.

         Araminta Holm intends to fight. She will never stop fighting, and neither will Eren Jaeger.
