Meadow pixies:

· Average height: 3-4 inches

· General characteristics: Aggressive, friendly, social, overly curious

· Heightened senses: Smell and hearing

· Coloring: greens, browns, and some bright colors to blend in with wildflowers

· Diet: nectar, small insects, seeds, berries, wild plants

· Environment: meadows, forest clearings

Garden pixies:

· Average height: 2.5 - 3 inches

· General characteristics: same as meadow pixies

· Heightened senses: same as meadow pixies

· Coloring: Adapted to have brightly colored wings to blend in with the butterflies and hummingbirds in human gardens

· Diet: same as meadow pixies but also ants, ant eggs, and whatever they can scavenge from human gardens or porches. They will raid bird feeders or snatch food from parking lots or human parks.

· Environment: human gardens

Extra facts:

· They are the fastest flyers out of all winged faeries.

· They are nomadic and like to bounce from garden to garden.

· They love all things human and tend to poke around and get themselves into trouble.

· Rarely have a set nuclear family unit; most pixie children are raised by whoever is around
