As an avid book reader, comic book fan and movie watcher, I understand a critical analysis of any fanfiction dealing with beloved characters. That is why in this story, my source for his origin/character is from canon-comic, tv shows and maybe potential films, who knows. As Ultimate Spiderman's portrayal of Nova was just as a foil to Spiderman and making him just a clown was not appreciated, it will not be like this in this story. (Nothing but love for his voice-actor-personally, he did great with what he had to work with!) However, the Guardians of the Galaxy tv show did better at handling Nova's character.

Nova is one of my favorite Marvel characters and that means I am cherishing this and giving all credit to the writers at Marvel for bringing him to life.

Another point though is Nova's birth name is Samuel Alexander and he is Hispanic, specifically Mexican American. As a Hispanic myself, I will use Spanish in this story when he talks to his family members and other Hispanics. The translation for words and phrases will be at the end of the chapter.
