**RESEARCHER'S NOTES**

W-127, nicknamed "Bumblebee" for his unique yellow fur and dark brown markings, was found on the southern side of Sockeye Mountain on May 15th. His mother was most likely poached and the whereabouts of his pack, if he had one, are unknown. W-127 was severely malnourished, so we brought him to a rehabilitation center to help build up his strength.

After a few days of deliberation, our team decided that it would be best to try and introduce him to the Valley Pack. The Valley Pack is comprised of six adults and two adolescents, but no pups. With no pups, the pack is at risk of shrinking, so we hope they will accept W-127 into the pack.

PACK DYNAMICS:
W = Wolf

• W-384, aka "Optimus", is the leader of the pack. He has a calm demeanor and is highly respected by the pack for being a good provider.
- Could be a possible father figure for W-127.
       - Respects W-286, but keeps him in his place.
       - Mates with W-142.

• W-286, aka "Sentinel", was the previous leader of the pack and possibly a mentor to W-384. Even in his advanced age, he is very active in pack activities.
- Has been known to punish other members.
- Demands respect.

• W-459, aka "Ratchet" or "Doc", is the second oldest member of the pack. He takes care of any injured pack members in ways never before seen.
- Tolerates the youngsters, but not for long.
- Known for his grumpy demeanor.
- Appears to be bonded with W-538.

• W-538, aka "Ironhide", is the main protector of the pack aside from W-384. He does most of the hunting and the fighting while also keeping everyone in line.
- Bad temper, keep an eye on him.
- Easily identified by his scars.
- Frequently displays romantic behavior around W-459.

• W-643, aka "Jazz", seems to be the pack clown. He tries to keep everyone in high spirits and eagerly offers to help whenever help is needed.
- Easygoing.
- Likes to show off.
- Would be good around pups.

• W-234, aka "Sideswipe", is one of two rambunctious adolescents. He would rather mess around than help the older members.
- Brothers with W-235.
- Could be a good playmate for W-127.

• W-235, aka "Sunstreaker", is the more playful brother of W-234. While he is rather lazy, he can be convinced to contribute by W-538, often by force.
- Loves to tease W-459 and W-538.
- Very playful.

• W-142, aka "Elita", is the pack's only female member. She helps run the pack alongside W-384 and is highly respected.
       - Could be a possible mother figure for W-127.
       - Determined and strong-willed.
       - Mates with W-384.
