"Shades of Morning"

in shades of innocence

morning sky blooms

painting the air

with rose petal hues

frosted with blossoms,

and candy floss trees

the air resonates

in frothy pink dreams

Notes: I chose to use the British name for cotton candy in line 6 because it flowed better with the rest of the poem. I also chose to not capitalize any letters in the body of the poem as a matter of style. I don't know why, but I just preferred this one not to have any uppercase letters (except in the title).
