It has been a few months since Inferno, Sigmund and Abrafo's last attempt to take over the world. Not much has happened in the past few months and Lightning was now 15 and Dusk was 16.

It was the beginning of the Autumn season as the leaves changed colors and began falling from the trees to the ground to prepare for the winter season.

Lightning and Dusk were enjoying themselves under the big Oak Tree with Amethyst, Shade, Phoenix, Chase and Sparks. They watched the other Pikachu and Pichu villagers playing in the leaf piles. Lightning and Dusk saw Electra with her little Pichu sister, Sparkle, and they went to see what she was up to.

"What are you doing, Electra?" Lightning asked.

"Oh hey Lightning and Dusk! I'm trying to get my sister to speak..." Electra said but then sighed in annoyance. "Who knew it would be this hard to teach young Pokémon how to talk..."

"Sparkle, please listen to me and repeat what I say... El-Ec-Tra..." she attempted.

"Pi-Pi-Chu?" Sparkle responded.

"No! That's not right!"

"Be patient Electra. It's bound to happen eventually. It probably will happen when you least expect it." Lightning replied.

Electra groaned. "I suppose you're right... It's just so boring... Nothing has happened for months now... I'm starting to think Inferno has just given up! He probably just realized that taking the world is not worth it and stopped trying after the Mewtwo and Darkrai plan didn't work."

"I doubt it. He's a tough cookie to crack, he would never give up so easily. He'll probably continue doing what he's doing until he gets what he wants or die trying." Dusk said.

"Dusk is right. He's planning something, I know it!" Lightning added. "I just don't exactly know what it is just yet..."

"But whatever it is I know we'll be ready to stop him again and put him in prison where he belongs!" Dusk added.

"Agreed" Lightning chimed in.

Lightning's ears perked and she turned around to see her Raichu father approaching her with two leaf-made baskets. "Lightning... Dusk... Can you two gather some berries for the berry pile. We are starting to run low on our stock."

"Of course, sir!" Dusk responded.

"Great. Here you two. Fill these two leaf baskets up with any berries you find and be careful. Stay safe and out of trouble."

"Understood!" Lightning said as they both took a basket and went on their way.

Lightning spotted a Sitrus Berry bush and an Oran berry bush beside it. "Let's start with these berries, Dusk!" Lightning told him.

"Good eye Lightning."

"Thanks"

Lightning picked the Sitrus Berries and Dusk picked the Oran berries. When they were done filling the baskets half way they moved on to find different berries.

A few minutes later, they found a Rawst Berry bush and they started picking Rawst berries from it.

Before they could gather more berries, Lightning felt a white snowflake fall on her nose. "Huh?" She questioned. "That's not right?"

"Is it starting to snow?" Dusk questioned.

"It seems like that? But how? Why? It's only Fall? Winter shouldn't be here for another few months?"

"We better get back to the village before it gets worse. I don't think this is a normal snow storm, I think it may be an ice type Pokémon who is causing this strange occurrence and I also don't think we want to encounter this Pokémon either. They could be dangerous." Dusk explained.

"I agree. We better go and take our berry haul to the village and seek shelter from the blizzard." Lightning retorted.

They both went on their way back to the Pikachu Village.

They made it safely back before the snowstorm got worse.

"Thank Arceus, you both arrived back in time. Quickly, we need to set up shelter in the rock shelter. It'll keep us safe and warm from the winter storm. Come on everyone!" Thunder told them.

Lightning and Dusk set their berry baskets down in the rock shelter and Phoenix set a campfire to keep everyone warm. Then they made sure everyone was there and safe.

However, unbeknownst to them, one villager was missing and Electra noticed who after the roll call. "Sparkle isn't here! She's missing! I can't find her anywhere! She must still be out there somewhere! We have to find her! She could be in serious danger!" Electra panicked.

"Calm down Electra. We will go find her. Everyone else needs to stay here and stay in the shelter! We don't want anyone else going missing."

"I know you can handle yourselves with your friends Lightning but please do be careful. We don't exactly know what is out there and who is strong enough to make an ice storm like this. Be extremely careful, I don't want my daughter getting hurt." Thunder said.

"I know, dad, we'll be okay. I promise." She told him reassuringly. "We'll be back when we find her."

Lightning, Dusk, Sparks, Electra, Chase, Amethyst, Shade and Phoenix left the shelter and went back out into the snow.

The group of eight exited the Pikachu Village and as they did, a Plusle and Minun approached them with a worried expression plastered on their faces.

"Hey you two, is something wrong?" Lightning asked them.

The two identical but different species of Pokémon approached them. "You need to get out of here! It's dangerous right now!" The Minun spoke up first.

"A-a white g-ghost Pokémon started this winter weather a-and they froze a Luxray and his family in front of us!"

"What?!" The group gasped in unison.

"That would explain the snowstorm but we can't just leave. A little Pichu from our village has gone missing and we must find her before something happens to her!" Sparks responded.

"Uh-oh that isn't good..." the Plusle said.

"In that case, she was probably already been captured. Which means she's gone now. Face it, you'll never find her before that ghost does. It's over. You're better off forgetting about her and turn back now before you end up like her and that Luxray's family!" The Minun replied.

"Quit being negative, Electron!" The Plusle told his Minun friend.

"Says you, Proton, you're always positive." Electron argued.

"Alright you two, calm down. We understand that this so called white ghost is a dangerous foe. But who exactly is the white ghost anyways." Shade asked.

"We didn't see who exactly but we know that she's a female."

"Hmmm... So you're telling me that this dangerous Pokémon is female, a white ghost and can use ice type moves... "

"Yes" Proton and Electron replied in unison.

"Sounds like a Froslass to me. According to books I have read, when Froslass find humans or Pokémon they like, they freeze their victims with their icy breath that is nearly -60 degrees Fahrenheit and take them to their territory , where they become decorations." Dusk explained.

From hearing that information, Shade had a chill down his spine and he shivered and swallowed in fear of what might happen.

"That's exactly what she is... A Froslass..." Proton said.

"Well if we want to find Sparkle, we better hurry before it's too late!" Amethyst stated.

"Do you two want to come with us... It might be wise to travel in a bigger group with a Pokémon that knows fire type moves like Phoenix. You'll be safer with us." Lightning told the two friendly electric types.

"I guess it would be wise to do so... right Electron?"

"I guess... I just hope we don't get caught by that Froslass and become frozen in ice for the rest of our lives!" Electron trembled in fear.

"That won't happen as long as we keep moving." Sparks retorted.

"So let's continue on our way then.. we shouldn't waste anymore time, or the blizzard might get worse and it'll be harder to get through." Chase chimed in.

                                         ***
Meanwhile, a few miles away from the large group of friends, Inferno, Sigmund and Abrafo were walking through the snowy mountains in the forest. "S-sir, shouldn't we s-stop and s-seek shelter f-f-from the snow?" Sigmund stuttered as he shivered from the cold.

"No! Not until I find that Eevee so I can kill him for destroying my eye!! We will not stop until I get my revenge and get what is rightfully mine!!" Inferno responded with a low-growl. "So stop whining and keep moving..."

"E-Easy for you to say... yo-you're part Fire type... Of course the w-winter weather doesn't b-bother you like us..." Abrafo muttered.

Inferno stopped and glared at him. "What was that?!" He shouted.

"N-nothing sir..." Abrafo stated.

"That's what I thought!"

"W-where did this snow even come from anyways?" Sigmund added.

"Who knows and who cares... it's just snow so stop crying about it and just shut up!!" Inferno growled in annoyance.

"Y-yes sir... S-sorry sir..."

Lightning, Dusk and their friend walked slowly through the snow that was getting deeper and heavier at each passing minute. They were starting to get exhausted and very cold as the blizzard gotten worse than when they started. However, they kept pushing on in order to find their missing Pichu villager.

"She shouldn't have gotten that far from the village, where could she have gone..." Electra sighed.

"I don't know but I really hope she didn't get herself in any trouble..." Sparks replied.

"Me neither... That poor little thing must be terrified..." Chase added.

"We just got to keep going... we won't stop until she is safely back home..." Lightning retorted.

Suddenly, Shade stopped in his tracks and he looked up on top of the mountains. He saw a figure standing on top, staring at them with red glowing eyes. "Wait... I see something..." he squinted his eyes to try to get a better look.

The figure then jumped down from the mountain and approached them.

"Stay back!!" Shade warned.

"Turn back now!! It's dangerous ahead!!" A female voice responded to them. She sounded concerned yet vigilant.

Shade saw that it was an Absol.

"Who are you?" Shade asked.

"I'm Sierra and I order you all to turn back now!! I heard rumors of a Froslass bringing havoc to the forest ahead and to keep any travelers from getting hurt, my job is to keep anyone from passing through."

"Wait... Please, we're looking for my little Pichu sister. She got lost from our village during the beginning of the storm and we're trying to look for her. Please... you got to let us through so we can see if she's here somewhere..." Electra explained.

"A Pichu... I don't recall seeing a Pichu but it is very important that you find her so come with me but stay with me and stay together... We will all look for her together. Follow me, posthaste."

Lightning, Dusk, Electra, Chase, Sparks, Amethyst, Shade, Phoenix, Electron and Proton followed Sierra the Absol close behind her through the snowy forest to search for Sparkle.
