"So what do we do?" Hazel asked.
"Honestly," Thalia said,"we have no idea."
"There's no way that we can just sit here," Percy told everyone, " if End caused it it's only a matter of time until he shows up here."
"How do you know it's here that he'll come?" Luke asked, "he could go to the endless desert it planet Soleir."
Percy made eye contact with Luke, "look Luke, we know why we've lit up, but why has Hope, and why is Peter all dark."
"I don't know," Luke shrugged.
"Because this is a do over," Percy told them all, "this is the second shot we've got and in the first one Peter wasn't my son, he was End's." Everyone looked at him in shock, as he took a breath then continued, "and hope was only my daughter because I made a deal with Chaos, she's the reason we're all here, alive, now. Without her End would have obliterated the universe."
No one said anything. And no one noticed the room growing cold. No one accept for Peter who woke up in the other room, with a very bad feeling in his gut.
He stood up, being careful not to disturb anyone else and walked to where Hope was sleeping. He shook her awake and pressed a finger to his lips.
She stood up, "Peter what's happening?" She whispered.
"I'm not sure, but whatever it is, it's not good," he whispered back.

The twins krept out into the hall. They peered through the gap in the door into the kitchen, where all of the adults stood in silence staring at their father.
They looked at each other and made a silent decision. They pushed open the door.
"Dad," Peter said, "there's something coming."

It didn't take long for them to be prepared. All of the children-much to Bee's protests-other than Peter, Hope, May and Tristan were taken down to the basement for their own safety and told to barricade themselves in. The rest of them set up defensive stances next to all of the doors and windows.
Hope, Peter, Luke and Percy took the front door, because they knew that they were the ones that End was tracking.
They gathered in the kitchen for one last time.
Everyone looked to Percy, for last minute advise, on what they should do, he looked around, at the faces of his friends, his friend's children and his son and daughter.
"Look guys," Percy said, "this isn't the best situation to be in, but truth be told we've been through worse."
Thalia laughed quietly, "you've got that right."
"We're going to stand here and fight End, even if End so happens to be Annabeth. I don't know what he wants, but we're going to stop him," He grinned, "now let's hit End where it hurts."
They all cheered and went to take their positions and silently waited for End to arrive.
