"Hello everybody my name is Jung Hoseok and I am the main surgeon of the new neurology team"

Hoseok announced. His voice held a sense of confidence which had charmed everyone in the crowd except for one person

"I am really thankful and find myself being lucky to be able to share the field with such veteran and skilled doctors. I shall do my best to keep up with you all and I really hope we can all be on good terms. Thank you very much"

Hoseok finished his speech as he moved aside and shook hands with CEO Park once again. Everyone stood up applauding him for his speech as he walked down the stage.

'Proffesionalism. Impressive' Y/N thought

The curtains to the stage closed as everyone started to walk out. Including Y/N. As Y/N went outside, she was met with Hoseok who smiled at her

"Hello Dr.L/N" He said in a deep voice

Y/N smiled at him as she crossed her arms. She tilted her head and spoke.

"Still practicing aye" She said in a teasing tone.

"Just because I believe in proffesionalism that doesn't mean I cannot have some fun with my colleagues right?" He said with a smirk

Y/N nodded lightly smiling.

"So why didn't you introduce yourself earlier?" Y/N asked curious

"Didn't find it necessary" Hoseok that shrugging lightly

Y/N looked at him rather stunned. Usually when people do have qualifications they start to boast about it. He didn't do that, however. He was different.

"Humility. I like that" Y/N said

"You do?" He asked back which made Y/N nod.

"Coffee? My treat on your arrival" Y/N offered

Y/N asked trying to be friendly. This made Hoseok smile. His smile held a different sort of charm which made Y/N feel a little weird.

"I'll be honoured"  Hoseok said agreeing to her offer

The both walked down the area to the elevator with number of eyes on them. The both noticed but just ignored them knowing they were just people craving for the some gossip.

They reached the elevator and Y/N pressed the button waiting for it to come. Y/N turned to find Hoseok already looking at her, making her flinch slightly. This made Hoseok smirk. Y/N cleared her throat to lessen the akwardness.

"So how is the hospital treating you? Its been few days since you arrived" Y/N spoke

Hoseok looked at her for a moment. She was short than him by few inches despite the heels. He then spoke.

"It's been great. People are nice except for some women and Dr. Park" He said rolling his eyes

"Couldn't agree more.." Y/N said sighing

The elevator dinged signalling it's arrival.

Suddenly Y/N felt an impact on her shoulder as she got pushed aside. She looked beside her to see Hoseok having the same impact. When she looked forward her eyebrows creased in anger. It was Park Jimin.

He had a smirk on his face as he looked at the two. Hoseok fixed himself as his tongue grazed his inner cheek. The both looked at the man before who had entered the elevator looking at them with now innocent look.

"You wanna get into the elevator or should I close it?" He asked tapping his foot with a mocking look

Y/N felt enraged by the person before her. How he always succeeded in making her angry even though, they had nothing against each other. She nuts could not understand why he continuously poked her. She took a deep breath before speaking.

"You can close it. We will take the stairs. Is that alright by you Dr.Jung?" She asked turning to Hoseok who was glaring at Jimin

"Couldn't ask for a better option. Shall we?" He said indicating towards the stairs

Y/N nodded lightly smiling. Hoseok smiled back. The both started to walk towards the stairs not giving a glance to the man who was standing with the elevator open.

Hoseok diverted the topic to something else to distract Y/N from the man who had enraged her.

Jimin stood at the elevator jaws clenched shut in anger as he looked at the two walk away.

"I am not letting you go away from me" He mumbled with gritted teeth

"Not again"

After having coffee with Hoseok, we came back to the hospital as our duties start very soon. He was a nice guy, I must say. Very polite and humble.

I arrived the my floor and started to walk towards my cabin. I was greeted by many on the way. As soon as I arrived my eyes fell upon Elena who immediately stood up and greeted me. I greeted back.

"Is everyone in my room?" I asked her and she nodded.

"Thank you" I said as I walked towards my room

My entire surgery team was sitting there while conversing with one another. As soon as they heard of my arrival their heads turned to me and they all stood up to pay respect. I greeted everyone present there.

"Take a seat everyone" I said

They all nodded and took a seat. I had called them here to discuss about the condition of the patient, Mr.Kim.

I took a seat in my usual place and cleared my throat.

"Before I start anything about the patient, Everyone please meet Jeon Jungkook, he shall be our new anesthesiologist. Please treat him well" I said indicating towards

Jungkook looked everyone and bowed politely. Everyone nodded back with a smile.

"We all have met before" Bella, the RN first assistant, spoke

"Good to know you have mixed within the team already. It'll be easier for you to work" I nodded at Jungkook

"Now back to business. I have given the report of Kim Chung-Ho to everyone. I hope everyone has looked through the reports of the angiogram and the ECG that was ran on him for further confirmation" I spoke and they nodded

"His artery blockage in pretty serious. The artery blockage is located at the right artery which is also linked to the main one. So in this situation a bypass surgery is necessary" i announced

"Will we have to put a stent? Like is that" Young chul asked, he was my surgical assistant.

"We have to. It's a serious issue and without that it will become difficult to remove the blockage as-"

We all flinched at the sudden bang that way heard. I immediately got up to check what was happening before we heard another one. I went outside and my eyes widened.

There were shattered piece of glasses and blood scattered over the place.
