"Keep checking his pressure levels, it's crucial at this point" I said

The nurse nodded to me and I had nodded back. The patient had just recovered from a vegetative state and so we had to be careful, considering one mistake may cause a problem to the patients brain as it's still sensitive.

"Have good night sir. Rest well" I said to the patient.

"Thank you doctor" He replied with a smile.

"You too ma'am" I said to his wife who was sitting on his bedside. She just nodded at me smiling.

I smiled back before turning away and walking towards the exit.

I neared the exit and opened the door to leave. I exited the cabin, only to be met by the practically empty corridor of the floor, only few nurses roaming here and there.

On the way, many greeted me while I had greeted few back. My eyes fell upon

Night was falling as the surroundings became dark. The trees slightly moved signalling a wind had just passed by. The moonshine fell on the lake by the hospital building giving it a silvery shade.

Everything was quite, as if the night had an objection to any noise. I find myself walking towards a certain room.

My eyes linger in the surroundings to notice nobody there. Soon my eyes fell upon the familiar door, a bitter smile took over my face as the unexpected reality came back.

I stopped infront of the door. My breathing became uneven. With shaky hands I opened the sliding door.

A wave of silence hit me as I looked at the lying figure ahead of me. My heart broke into pieces just at the sight of her.

I went forward with small steps as my heart clenched at the sight of the women infront of me.

As I reached forward, I took a seat on the stool beside her. I held onto her hand which are ice cold and pale as ever. Tears slowly found its way down my cheeks.

"Why you?" I whispered

"Why out of every person on Earth did it have to be you guys?" I asked in frustration.

"Am I that useless that you want you stay so far away from me? Both of you" I said

I looked at her face which had an oxygen mask attached to it. Her hands had wires all over as the only thing that gave a signal that she was alive was the monitor which tracked her heartbeat and pressure levels.

"I know I sound pathetic but I miss you" I said crying harder

I looked at the women who had given me life was now struggling to attain her own. My heart broke at the people who were pushed so far away.

"Come back... Your arrival can only fix everything, cause I don't know what to do anymore"

After crying for a while, I got up from seat and gave one last look at lying figure on the bed.

"I will be back and hopefully next time, you will be awake" I said as I kissed her forehead

I exited the room and went to the washroom to clean my face up, which looked like a boiled tomato now. After cleaning my face, I head towards the cafeteria.

The grey walls near the cafeteria greeted me as I neared the door. As soon as I did, I straight head to the counter for food. Sophia, the lady of the cafeteria greeted me.

"Hello Dr.Park" She greeted

"Good Night Ms.Mae" I greeted back

"How is your day going so far?" She asked

"It's hectic but I'll live" I said shrugging off

She laughed heartily at my comment. I gave her a sad smile as she reminded me of someone.

"What would you like to have?"

"Just a grilled sandwich" I said taking out my wallet.

"Please wait for a while" She said to which I nodded.

I leaned against the counter as my eyes lingered around the cafeteria. There were few doctors and nurses. As I scanned the room my eyes fell upon a certain figure. I squinted my eyes to make sure it was her. As I did, it really was her. I smirked but that soon dropped from my face as I saw a male figure sitting infront of her.

He had dark brown hair which was parted from the middle. He had a fair but slightly tanned complexion. He looked unfamiliar.

"Who is this wimp?" I mumbled

My jaw clenched as he saw Y/N converse with the guy with great interest.

'Gotta do something with this guy'

"So much anger is not good for your brain miss, It can cause stress"

Y/N's turned around almost instantly as an humanly instinct. Her eyebrows furrowed at the sight of the unknown man.

He had parted hair dyed dark brown. Moderate but sparkly eyes. His skin was glowing like sun kissed golden, even at the dark hour of the night. He was was wearing the hospital coat but his name was not yet imprinted on it. So Y/N assumed he was new as she looked at the man who had on a genuine smile on his face.

"Am I allowed to sit here?" He asked standing by her table.

Y/N started at him for a moment. The male had an akward look in his face. He was about to leave.

"I think I should leav-" He was cut off

"Take a seat" Y/N said

The guy turned to her with a slight smile and nodded. The guy sat down with his food, what looked like fried rice. The two sat in silence and ate their as the man took occasional glances at the women infront of him. They soon finished their food and Y/N looked up at him.

"So are you new? I haven't seen you around" She asked abruptly, as her interest peaked at the new man infront of her.

"Yes I am. I just arrived today" He said

"Which department?" Y/N interrogated further

"Neurology" The guy replied

Y/N creased her eyebrows as she remembered something.

"Oh by any chance are you a part of the new team that is coming?" She asked

The guy smiled at her as she asked her questions after question. He found it cute.

"Yes I am of that team" He replied softly looking at her

"Oh. I heard the main surgeon is someone who studied abroad. Must be very experienced. What's your role?" She asked

The man got a little flustered at her abrupt question. His pupil moved here and there for a while

"I am just primarily practicing to be able do what "he" is doing one day" He replied

"But you look around my age. I am a main surgeon now. If not main you should at least have been surgical assistant by now" She said squinting her eyes.

He gave her a nervous laugh as he diverted the topic of the conversation.

"Umm what's your name?" He asked

Y/N straightened her posture as she replied to the question asked.

"Y/F/N.."

"Department?" He asked putting his chin in his hand

"Cardiology" She said leaning her arms on the table

"So Dr.L/N how about I treat you coffee for it being my first day here" The male said to her

"Well I just met you, so why would you buy me coffee?"

"Dumb women, he is flirting with you" A voice said from behind.

The both startled at the voice that had just spoke behind them. Y/N knew who it was so she didn't turn around. The male before her saw her expression as he looked at the guy infront.

'Dr.Park Jimin- Neurology'

It was imprinted on the left side of his white coat, in a similar way to Y/N's. Just the difference was that his was in blue and Y/N's was in red. The male smirked as he looked at the other make before him.

'So this is Park Jimin, he doesn't seem the way he is described' He thought

Y/N cleared her throat bringing back all the attention to her.

"Dr. Park may I know what are you doing?" She asked turning to him

"Making sure nobody touches my assets. We don't let others park in our parking now do we?" He said

Jimin trailed her body down and stopped at her lower body. Y/N immediately understood what he meant as she started to fume at his  unprofessional comment.

"You!" She gritted.

She took few deep breaths as she tried to handle herself. Jimin was looking at her innocently. The male looked at Jimin with an amused looked.

"Dr Park how much unprofessional can you get?!" She snapped at him

"As much thrusts you can bare, you seem like you can bare a lot" He said clicking his tongue, getting on her nerves.

That hit Y/N as she got on her about to scream at him, but the guy who was sitting held onto her arm bringing her back.

"Dr. L/N why don't I drop you off to your cabin instead of wasting our time on unnecessary people" He suggested

Jimin looked at him with an raised eyebrow.

"Oh please, your face looks like" Jimin said

"Let's go?" He asked Y/N and she nodded.

The male ignored him as he escorted Y/N out of the room, absolutely disregarded the shouting man behind.

"You dimwit!" That was a faint sound heard front he cafeteria which made Y/N roll her eyes.

"So your next duty?" He asked

"Floor 8, the ward area" She replied

"Okay let me drop you off" He said

Y/N did not feel like protesting, so she didn't.

"So who was that guy?" He asked letting out a huff

"Park Jimin, a neurosurgeon. He is the main surgeon of his team" Y/N said

The male nodded.

"I swear he is the most unprofessional person I have ever seen in my entire career! I sometimes wonder how he is the best team in his department" Y/N scoffed making the guy chuckle

Soon they reached the 8th floor and Y/N turned.

"Thank you I guess"

"Your welcome. I guess I will see you around Dr L/N" The male said as he straightened his posture.

Y/N nodded slightly smiling. He smile snack at her before turning away.

"Wait!" Y/N suddenly said making him stop in his tracks

"I didn't catch your name" Y/N said

The guy's upper lip tugged as he gave her a subtle smile before he replied.

"Jung Hoseok.."

Damnnn Zayn and Gigi are expecting a child finally!!!!! Man they are so cute, I can die for a relationship like that. Welp fate is not this nice everyone!
