Y/N sat in the lab analysing the reports of her recent patient. She needed to run a few checks, that is why she was sitting in the lab instead of her cabin. It was late at night, and to her delight it was her shift today. She despised staying home.

Her focus was shifted from the page with daunting medical information to the sky which seemed majestically clear. The stars were confidently displaying themselves to the rest of the world, despite remaining a background to the lightened up moon who got its fame with the assistance of the sun. A sigh escaped her lips as she dropped down the pages and her pen, and folded her hands over the table, staring ahead to the sky which was visible from the enormous window outside the lab.

Different thoughts passed her mind as she took her time to figure out each detail of the royal sky. The incident which occurred a few days ago had left her traumatized. At the same, the comfort she had received from an unexpected person had also made her feel somewhat giddy.
However, what shocked her the most was the reaction of her family. Her mother as usual paid no attention to the misery she was going through and took the chance to pick at her. Y/N never understood the reason which had inundated her mother with hatred for her. She never felt the love she craved for which turned her into a cold yet vulnerable human being.

Her father, however, had taken her by surprise.

Y/N knocked on the door unsure of how else to approach the serious man who had drowned himself into the documents of profits and shipments. She patiently waited for a voice to grant her the permission to let her in but nothing came. So, she slightly opened the door with a creaking noise and peaked her head in to be met by the sight she had already envisioned in her head.

"F-Father?" She stuttered in nervousness scared for an ugly reaction.

Only the murmurs of the information written in the document could be heard from him as he paid no attention to the desperate girl that awaited his acknowledgment.

"Father?" She called out once again to see the man before her let out an irritated sigh. He looked up at her with an annoyed expression and said.

"Come in" He said nonchalantly

Y/N entered with shaky steps and stood before him.

"Now what is it? You know I hate being disturbed when I am working and still you do it everytime" He said as vexation ejaculated onto his features.

'When are you not working?' Y/N thought to herself, mentally rolling her eyes.

"I apologize father" Y/N said lightly bowing.

"It's okay. Now hurry up" His father urged her to speak quicker, his hands gripping the documents in restlessness.

Y/N froze. She had to tell him as he was her parent. He had the right to know but she didn't know how. She just wanted to inform him, so that if something happens to her, he has action taken ahead for his business image as that is all he cared about.

"Will you please hurry up?" Her father urged raising an eyebrow

"I-I...I have been receiving messages threatening me of negative consequences, and those messages also reported each and every action of mine. Recently my car was broken and thrashed, and I had received another message afterwards, saying this was the consequence of not obeying what the user asked me to do. So I thought I should inform you about this as I shall be taking help of the law, and since I am associated with you it might affect your business image. I will try my best to not make it public but if things get out of hand, just incase. That's all I wanted to say. Sorry for taking so much time" Y/N explained the situation while looking at another direction, before looking at him.

She saw worry spread over his face like the waves crashing the coast during a tsunami as he abruptly stood up and started to come forwarf. She thought it was because, his company image was at risk and prepared herself to get an lecture regarding it. To her surprise, he said something unexpected.

"You're not hurt in any way are you?" He said as he placed his hand on her shoulders

Y/N looked up at him taken aback by the question as she tried to find a link with the business but couldn't find one.

"No..." Y/N said

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?! I would've arranged strong support from the law!"  He raised his voice making Y/N flinch.

"I-I didn't find it necessary..." Y/N said quietly.

"Didn't find it necessary?! Y/N do you understand how risky this is?! You are being threatened by some random person, now hey thrashed your car, next they might try to harm you. At top of it, you travel alone day and night, with no one to protect you. What if something happens to you?!" Her father let out in anger.

"I didn't find it necessary as I couldn't find any way it would affect the company but it is getting out of hand now, so I informed you" Y/N replied as she stated the bitter truth

"The company? Do you think the company image is more important to me than the safety of my daughter? Don't be ridiculous!" Her father said feeling somewhat irritated at the statement.

"They didn't do anything to me yet but I am afraid they might, so I informed Namjoon. Plus they are noting each and every action of mine which is making it difficult" Y/N explained

"Oh god..." Her father said in horror

"You should've told me earlier! I would have contacted my friend who works in the police department to get to the root of this. This is absolutely not safe for you! I understand you are an independent woman but you have to understand that the world has not gone to the state where every woman can move around freely. There is still risk to your safety. So stop being stubborn every time!" Anger seeped through his voice.

"I am sorry..." Y/N said feeling shocked at the amount of care her father was showing.

"I am arranging security for you. They will take you to the hospital and back home, and everywhere you go. I don't want any arguments. I can't loose you too. You're all I have" Her father  said, as he whispered the last part to himself which Y/N could not hear.

Y/N left the room utterly shocked by the situation as this was her very first time seeing her father being so caring towards her. Her heart warmed up as she thought.

Even if by a bit, but he did care for her.

A knock on the glass door had bought Y/N out of her thoughts. She looked towards the door to be met by the same golden brown hair staring at her with a soft smile.

"Hello Dr.Park.." Y/N said akwardly as she sat straight

"Hey there! Dreaming of me?" Jimin said coming forward.

Y/N had gotten quite comfortable around Jimin for the past few days, as he comforted her in her vulnerable state.

"You wish" Y/N said rolling her eyes.

"I do. And I thought we agreed to drop the "Dr" stuff" Jimin spoke in an exaggerated manner

"We did but it's my habit so.." Y/N explained

"Oh right! The stern Dr. L/N" Jimin said copying her posture making her roll her eyes.

Jimin laughed as he went around the table where she sat and picked up random equipments.

"What are you doing?" He asked

"Just going through some reports" She replied

He suddenly found a soft ball, as an idea came to his mind. He turned to Y/N and said.

"Hey Y/N!" He called out making her look up and he threw the ball to her.

Thanks to her active sense, Y/N caught the ball just on time making an impressed look spread over Jimin's face.

"Ohh nice catch!" He praised with a smile

"What do you think you are doing?" Y/N asked annoyed

"Nothing. Let's play a game. You throw the ball anywhere, and I will try to catch it" Jimin suggested.

Y/N scoffed at the idea making him frown

"What are you? A dog?" Y/N said with sardonic tone before throwing away the ball making Jimin smirk.

Y/N got back to her work not paying attention to the man in the room. Suddenly she felt hot breath near her air making her shiver. Before she could turn back, she heard.

"Yes I'm a horndog baby"
