"M.. Momm...y..." Kiriko was starting to wake up from her deep sleep. She looked at her surroundings, confused. She then recognizes the infirmary and stands up.

She hears faint voices coming from the other room and in curiosity, she opens the door, quietly, and peaks through it. It was Mavis. In front of her was an unfamiliar man.

Suddenly, the man moves away from Mavis and looks at Kiriko. Her eyes widen and shuts the door, looking for a place to hide. It was Zeref.

The man who almost killed her. She then hides in the supply closet. Her breaths were shaky and was holding her breathe so Zeref couldn't find her.

"Kiriko... I know you're in here. Just come out. I won't hurt you..." Kiriko heard his soft voice from outside of the closet. Hearing footsteps in the room, Kiriko, quickly, covers herself in loads of towels and tries to stay quiet as possible. She remembered what he had done to Anju and her village.

"Kiriko!! Watch out!!" The flames started to oxygen go away. Her lungs burning trying to find air. She looked around her seeing that everyone was fighting Zeref's army.

She tried to firing her friend, Anju, but was too late. The enemy were already attacking her. Kiriko then uses her light magic to lure the enemy away, but was too weak.

"Kiriko! It's ok! Just leave! Save yourself!" Those were the last words of Anju, before she was killed. Kiriko runs desperately and trips and falls on something.

Blood tripled down her forehead as Kiriko tried to get up. "Hey! Isn't that you're sisters child?"

"Adoptive child and yes."

"I wouldn't hurt my niece..." Zeref said, stopping in front of the supply closet. Kiriko widens her eyes. Niece?! Suddenly, the door of the supply closet open, making Kiriko panic. "I believe you think of me as the enemy... For I what I had done earlier..." Suddenly, Kiriko feels the towels moving.

"Why are you hiding from me?" Zeref asks, pulling Kiriko up from her seating. "Let m-me go!" Kiriko yells, tears willing to fall from her eyes, punching Zeref.

Zeref just pulls Kiriko from the wrist leading her to the main hall where Mavis was. "Mavis!" Kiriko yelled, as she ran towards her, but was pulled back by Zeref who pulled on her hair.

"No, Kiriko." Zeref then gets her chin to make her look at him. Something sparked inside Kiriko. She turns away from Zeref then glaring at Mavis.

"... As you wish, uncle..." Kiriko's glowing red eyes matches with Zeref's red ones.

Mavis who was on the floor, widens her eyes, and tries to get away from Kiriko. "What a foul act, Zeref..." Mavis muttered. Mavis couldn't believe he would do that to his own niece.
