"Abuela this is our friend, Grant." Both Carlos and Reyna stood on either side of the taller boy who was smiling down at the small women with flowers in his hand.

Grant had never felt so terrified at someone who didn't even reach the top of his shoulders. The women was petite. So small he could see where Reyna got her height, yet he could tell that looks were deceiving. From the stories and reputation, the head of the Valdes and Montenegro family was not one to be messed with.

She smiled at him, nodding her head as she took the flowers from his hands. "Grande?"

"Grant." Carlos corrected with a laugh, Rey also chuckling slightly as Grant looked helplessly at her. Why were they laughing? He hadn't done a thing wrong and now somehow he had been a mockery.

His eyebrows lifted in the direction of Reyna, the girl sighing before quickly explaining that grande actually meant big in Spanish to which Grant's eyes widened suggestively at her. The innuendos and dirty jokes being held back as both eyed one another for another few seconds before they went back to acting like they didn't know a thing.

Grant smiled widely at Abuela who eventually stopped laughing and began speaking to the tall man in accented English.

Everyone met the infamous badass grannies who lead the toast which was of course done in tequila shots.

The night went on, everyone having a good time, music pumping softly as the entire cast and even some of the crew were calm and relaxed. Surprisingly Reyna's apartment wasn't as cramped as they believed, everyone was spread out through the place, most surrounding the table being used for beer pong where Carlos and Sasha were on one side and Keiynan and Candice on the other.

Reyna eventually grew bored of watching and decided to head down the hall towards her kitchen.

She was looking at her fridge, humming to herself the new song playing through her speakers while her hips swayed. She wasn't drunk per say but she definitely felt the effects of the alcohol slowly overwhelming her senses.

"Hey you..." she turned around almost immediately when the voice called out to her. It was none other then Grant, his eyes slightly red as he looked at her with a grin.

"Sup you," Rey answered back with a raised brow. Clearly Grant was about at the same rate of tipsy as her, it was quite amusing. The girl closed the fridge as she had a feeling that soon she would be forgetting all about it. They hadn't had the chance to be alone since her best friend and grandmothers arrival, clearly there was sexual tension between them as Rey crossed her arms and eyed him. "Where's my family?"

"Sasha and Carlos are still playing and your grandmas trying to teach Dani how to sing Selena. So I say we are good." Grant answered, walking forward.

"So what? You came in here thinking we have a moment to ourselves and we can sneak off like a couple of horny teenagers?" Rey questioned, raising a brow as she too took a step forward.

"So I'm a little immature, can you blame me? Your ass looks phenomenal in those jeans, I'm pretty sure the guy in makeup couldn't take his eyes off it." Grant responded.

"He's gay." Reyna deadpanned.

"So, I'm suppose to be your cousins best friend and yet here we are." Grant answered, proving his point by grasping her waist.

"Fair point, care to be 16 again?" Rey retorted, a smirk plastered across her face when Grant didn't waste a second to mold his lips to her own.

Grant didn't detach his lips from her skin, not even when Rey came up for air. His lips merely moved onto kissing the angle to her jaw and then down her neck where her perfect lilac smell infiltrated his nose and further pushed him into the magic that was Reyna Montenegro, she was perfect... it was almost unfair how lost he was whenever he stood nearest her.

The music thumped behind them as they pushed to one of the nearest table tops, pushing away the bag of tortilla chips and Grants fingers lifting Rey so she could sit atop it and they kissed at a better angle.

Rey ran her fingers up his back, feeling the muscles shifted underneath her grasp as she moved them up. She missed kissing him, missed the way his lips left moth like kisses tattooed to her skin as a full blown butterfly army attacked her stomach. Her legs wrapping around his waist as the kiss deepened and right now nothing mattered except the time they had lost without one another.

"WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU FEELING UP MY COUSIN!"

The moment was like being pummeled by cold water, both jumping apart and Grant nearly losing his footing when he landed so far back. Rey hopped off the counter as she realized the severity of the moment.

Carlos was standing at the entrance to the kitchen, some of their friends behind them, and everyone's expression ranging from shock to flat out amusement. Carlos however held neither as his face was practically fuming with rage

Rey pulled down her top, not looking at Grant for fear that it would only anger her cousin further, and holding her dignity in place. "Carlos... please. It's not what it looks like."

"WELL I DON'T KNOW! USUALLY WHEN YOU FIND TWO PEOPLE DRY HUMPING EACH OTHER IN THE KITCHEN ITS EXACTLY WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" He yelled back, jutting out a finger at either of them.

"No! No! It's not exactly like that!" Grant was finally able to speak as he took a step forward to stand next to Reyna. "I was gonna talk to you about this tomorrow at game night, I wanted you to know before this went any further."

"FURTHER? Further! Making babies isn't further for you two? Are you fucking kidding me? You haven't even been single for a whole fucking season!" Carlos accused, directing his anger towards his cousin. "And you haven't even known her long enough to even have a voice in this discussion."

"Carlos," Sasha sighed, stepping forward and grabbing his arm. "It's not like that, just hear them out please. You can't be this mad without knowing what's going on."

Carlos turned, looking at the light haired brunette. "You fucking knew didn't you, you all did, and no one decided to tell me?"

"Carlos please, please Los," Rey spoke, stepping closer to the boy who was more family then she could ask for. He was her brother, her father, the only male figured she had loved her entire life and being in this position was breaking her apart. "Listen to me, I'll explain everything."

"Carlos man come on, you know we wouldn't do this to hurt you. We were just scared..." Grant tried to further calm the situation.

"Well that ships been fucking blown," Carlos scoffed, yanking his arm away rather roughly from his cousins grasp and looking at everyone in disgust. "This days been shit, I'm going home. Thanks you two... thanks for fucking everything."
