I laid in bed and smiled as I snuggled into my fiancé's chest. I felt him pull me closer to him and then he kissed my forehead.

"Morning beautiful." He said softly.

"Hello handsome." I said as I leaned up and kissed him.

"I have to get up." He groaned as he looked at the clock.

"Work?" I said questionably.

"Yea, we are working on a big case. A woman was murdered and the husband is the lead suspect." He said as he stood up.

He rushed into the shower and I smiled as I grabbed some cereal. He soon came out of the bathroom dressed up and ready to leave.

"Ralph! Are you forgetting something?" I asked with a smile.

"Gun, wallet, pants, shirt, jacket, keys....... I think I have everything." He said playfully.

I motioned for him to come to me and he smiled as he walked up to me and wrapped his arms around me.

"Oh yea.... my goodbye kiss." He said as he dipped me and kissed me.

I laughed as he pulled me back up and pecked my lips once more before walking out of the house. I finished with my cereal and then left for work. When I arrived Dr. Wells was checking everything.

"Morning (Y/n)." Cisco said with a smile.

"Hey, sorry it took me so long. Fiancé was being a pain." I said with a laugh.

"Don't worry about it." He said with a smile.

I soon started working and around one I left for lunch and met up with my brother.

"Barry! Over here!" I called to him.

"Hey!" He exclaimed as he hugged me.

"So how is work?" I asked as we set down.

"It's good..... well except..... my superior found a knife that I think he placed at the scene...... I know how to prove it but don't know if I should."

"Barry follow your heart. Do what you think is right." I said softly.

"Thanks sis..... you're the best."

"So curiosity.... who is your superior?"

"Ralph Dibny a real piece of work he is. Well I should go. I'll see you later." He said a she stood up and walked away.

I froze as I watched him leave, there is no way that Ralph could do something like that..... he wouldn't. I went back to work and soon I was done and able to go home. I made it home to see Ralph with a drink in his hand.

"You are home early." I said as I walked up to him.

I put my arms around his neck and he squeezed my hand.

"Yea, no thanks to Barry Allen." He said angrily.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"He got me fired! I was trying to bring a criminal to justice and he goes and let's him go!"

"Ralph..... tell me you didn't plant evidence." I said as I backed away from him.

"The man was guilty! I had to do something!"

"Ralph..... I.... please leave." I said a s I looked away from him.

"What?" He asked shocked.

"Leave! I can't stand to look at you right now!" I snapped.

"(Y/n).... baby..... don't do this." He whispered."l

"Take your ring and leave! I never want to see you again!"

I threw the ring at him and he picked it up and looked at me sadly.

"This ring belongs to you.... if you can ever forgive me.... then wear it..... I love you.... I just want you to know that." He said as he put it on my coffee table and walked out of the house.

I felt tears stream down my face as I walked over to the ring and picked it up. A week later I boxed all his stuff up, except for a few shirts, and sent them to him.
