I tapped my finger on the desk and waited for Barry to return. He had left with Cisco to the movies and is over an hour and a half late. I pulled my phone out and quickly pulled his number up.

"Where are you?"- me

I hit send and let out a sigh as I waited for him to reply. I sent two more messages and then I laid back on the couch.

I had started dating Barry Allen two years ago and we had moved in together last year. When I agreed to move in with him, I didn't think I would be staying up late worried to death about him coming home, but then again he wasn't the Flash then.

"Hey sorry to be so late. Had to stop a robbery, on way home."- Barry 😘

I let out a sigh of relief and put my phone away. I laid back on the couch and flipped through the channels until my eyes grew heavy and I fell asleep.

"Baby." A voice said as it gently shook me awake.

I opened my eyes to see Barry smiling at me.

"What time is it?" I asked as I set up.

"2 am. Sorry I was so late." He said as he picked me up.

"It's fine." I said as I snuggled into his side.

I felt him chuckle as he walked to our bedroom and laid me on the bed before speeding through the room and grabbing my clothes. He helped me change into some pj's and then he took a shower and changed clothes. I smiled as he laid beside me and I laid my head on his chest.

"Sorry again." He said as he ran his fingers through my hair.

"It's okay..... I signed up for this when I started to date you."

"You didn't sign up for me being the Flash."

"No... I signed up for you always being late.. I mean if you aren't late to our wedding I'll be disappointed." I said with a laugh.

"So we are going to get married?" He asked with a smile.

"Hopefully.... someday." I said softly.

"I love you." He said as he pecked my lips.

"I love you too." I said as I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
