Barry POV

"Barry.... I love you." (Y/n) said before she went limp in my arms.

"Caitlin! Help her!" I screamed.

I set her down on the table and watched as Caitlin went to work. Iris rushed into the room and looked around.

"What happen?" She asked softly.

"(Y/n).... DeVoe.... He.... he stabbed her." I said as I watched Caitlin work on (Y/n).

"Why would he go after her? She isn't a meta.... she just works here. She isn't really important." Iris said calmly.

"Don't you ever say that again!" I yelled.

"Barry calm down!" Joe said as he grabbed my shoulders.

"No! How can you say she isn't important!

She doesn't just work here! She is apart of this family! Apart of my family! Without her.... I... I couldn't be the Flash." I said through tears.

I heart her heart stop and I felt the tears fall as Caitlin tried to bring her back.

"Please... come back to me. Please." I whispered.

When I heard her heart start to beat again I let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank god." I whispered.

"Bar.... let's talk outside." Joe said as we left the room.

He took me to Cisco's lab and set down.

"Explain." He said softly.

"Explain what?"

"Why you flipped out in there? Bear you have never acted like that." Joe said softly.

"My best friend is hurt. I'm just worried about her." I said as I set down.

"Bar..... I want you to say the first name that comes to mind.....if it was between Iris and (Y/n).... who could you not live without?" Joe asked me.

"That's easy (Y/n)." I said calmly.

I froze for a second and looked at Joe.

"Barry I don't think you just see her as a friend.... I don't think you ever have." Joe said as he patted my shoulder.

Soon Iris came into the room and I let out a sigh.

"Hey.... are you okay?" She asked softly.

"No..... I'm so confused." I said softly.

"About what?" She asked as she grabbed my hand.

"Us.... Iris... I use to thought about having a life with you and now... I just keep seeing-"

"(Y/n)...... I figured. Barry no matter what you will always be my best friend..... if she has your heart... then you need to let her know." She said as she stood up and handed me the ring back.

I watched her leave and I let it a sigh.

(Your POV)

When I woke up I was in a white room and Barry was beside me in a chair asleep. I looked down at my hand to see him holding it. I moved my hand away only for him to stop me.

"Your awake." He said as he set up.

"Yea.... where is everyone?" I asked softly.

"Caitlin and Cisco went to use the guest beds. They have been up since you got here." He said softly.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be watching Iris?" I asked confused.

"Iris isn't in any danger...... the only person who is... is you." He said softly.

I nodded my head and let out a sigh.

"Do you know why DeVoe went after you?" He asked softly.

"It's actually kind of funny..... he thinks you love me. I don't know why.... but he does." I said softly.

"Because-"

"Where is my cousin!" A voice screamed.

I let out a groan as Ralph rush into the room.

"I was so worried about you!" He exclaimed as he hugged me.

"Stab wound! I have one!" I yelled.

He pulled away and all apologized.

"Um..... Ralph.... I'm not one to make someone leave, but could you-"

"Leave now.... we where having a conversation." I said sharply.

"So since you two are good now, I don't have to watch Iris anymore?" Ralph asked happily.

"Why where you watching Iris?" Barry asked with a smirk.

"Because (Y/n) was trying to get something bad on her because she is in love with you."

"Out!" I ordered.

He rushed out and I looked over to see Barry leaning back in his chair.

"So you love me." He said with a smile.

"Okay I know you are with Iris... and I know it was wrong of me to do that, but.... you know me.... when I care about someone I do stupid stuff and I can't stop-"

I was cut off by a pair of lips pressed against mine. I let out a gasp as Barry gently pulled me closer to him. He quickly pulled away and I looked at him shocked.

"I didn't hurt you did I?" He asked as he looked me over.

"No.... um... could.. could you do that once more. I don't thing I felt anything." I said innocently.

He smiled as he leaned down and gently kissed me again, this time I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back.

"Finally, She is- kissing Barry! What is going on!" Cisco yelled.

We pulled away and I froze as reality hit me.

"Oh my god! I am so sorry! I... I didn't mean to.... I shouldn't have. Oh god Iris is going to kill me!" I exclaimed.

"Calm down. We broke up..... I realized something after you got hurt.... I realized it wasn't Iris I kept seeing me have a family with..... it was you." Barry said as he sent me a smile.

"Me?... so your saying you-"

"Love you.... I love you." He said softly.

"Finally! I was so routing for you! Ralph you owe me twenty bucks!" Caitlin yelled happily.

I watched her run out of the room and chase after him and I laughed as I shook my head and Barry hugged me.

"I love you, (Y/n)." He said softly.

"I love you too." I said as I leaned up and kissed him.

And then you died! No I'm just messing with you all
