Jack walked out of his cat-door to the outside. It was a long time since he been outside ever since he went to the Cutter. He saw at the other side of the Thunderpath was the Pine Forest. He always wanted to go there but his parents told him never to venture off. He walked toward the Thunderpath, but a monster ran by. He waited until the monster was gone until he walked onto it. it felt like burning cement and it felt crumbled even thought it wasn't crumbled.

Jack walked along, one paw in front of the other very slowly until he was at the Pine Forest. So many scents! He wondered what lived in the forest. He shivered, remembering his mother's tales of the savage warriors cats that ate anything and killed anything that they saw. And worse, the warriors ate bones! He didn't want to get eaten by those Clans. He would stay clear of them....If he could.

Although, Jack didn't want to cause any mischief or get lost. He kept on walking. He saw a line of four or five trees with star markings all the way of to the cloud-shaped leaves. He scented many cats, then cowered in fear to find out that this is where the warriors met at every full moon to plan their evil attacks. But are those rumors true? Jack didn't know.
