Chapter 6-The meeting.

Firefly walked alongside Akure and four Knight-minions to a massive mountain-like location that was directly in the center of the ninth plain of Hell, known by many different names, but one such name which she liked very much was "The Keep".

"The Keep" had several purposes.

One such purpose was holding the three orbs of the ninth plain of Hell or simply called "the three Hell-orbs", a trio of three glowing red and black orbs which were the very heart of the ninth plain.

These are the three most important pieces of any Hell plain, they kept the plain from disintegrating after all.

If even one Hell-orb was taken (they are impossible to truly destroy by any means), it would instill chaos within the unfortunate Hell-plain, and slowly it would crumble into chaos and eventually into nothing.

A Hell-plain can survive albeit barely on two orbs, but it cannot survive on one orb alone. To thrive it has to have its three orbs.

The chamber of the Hell-orbs was a secret iron chamber accessible only by those of demonic blood(so basically only a demon can enter the chamber) however a non-demon can enter the chamber if a demon opens the chamber for them.

Around them, in six locations, stood four stone statues. But not any kind of statue, they were storm guardians--demonic animated armor that attacked anyone who was a confirmed threat.

And even Firefly wouldn't dare oppose one of those guardians.

They had the ability to fully reform themselves from any attack, as well as cause earthquakes with their shields and spears as well as other terrifying attacks.

Walking up the temple stairs, she glanced back behind her, scanning over the land that belonged to her.

She briefly felt a squeeze around her heart at the sight.

This was her home, this was where she belonged, she had to protect it.

She walked up to its entrance and asked Akure.

"Wait, was it wise to bring the four shadows along?"

Akure stopped and looked at her, "Maybe-"

"Uh-give me a second," replied Firefly.

She then contacted them via magic.

"It may help us explain this whole... scene easier I guess you could say-" she said to them.

She got replies of confirmation and a few seconds later the four shadow demons emerged out of the shadows.

"Wait, who's in charge of your forces?" Asked Amerenx.

"I've got generals situated around the entire fortress, they'll keep order," replied Firefly.

And with that, they entered.

"So what is this place exactly?" Asked Skiá

"This place has many names-but most known as "The Keep" Firefly stated then added on, "It has many different meanings but the two biggest reasons are to contain the ninth plain Hell-orbs and to hold meetings of the utmost importance.. such as now."

Skiá nodded. The Hell-orbs needed no explanation since the sixth plains orbs were buried underneath miles of rubble and rock.

Walking through one of the many gates, the group walked into one of the many dark hallways lit dimly by torches as Firefly said, "I wished for you to accompany us as perhaps your presence would help convince the other Hell-lords of the threat this time-turner poses."

Amerenx nodded.

"Who, of the other Hell-Lords, will be here?" He asked Firefly.

"Oh, you’ll meet them all here soon enough," the fire demon replied giving a small chuckle, she then turned serious and said, "However, they have all earned their title so much like me it is best to treat them with respect as they are some of the strongest demons in the realm-"

"Oh, I am quite deadly indeed thank you, dear!" Said a new voice.

This new voice caused the majority of the demons to jump as Firefly turned to the left and let out a sigh but that then turned into a chuckle as she said, "Axeiria you are deadly indeed..been some time how are ya?"

A new figure walked out of a shadow-filled corner and had a massive-albeit overly friendly smile on her face.

She stood at a solid five-foot, eight inches with clear white hair that appeared to have black streaks through it, she also had one pale blue eye, and one dark blood red eye, her skin was very pale and she appeared to have metal armor on.

But her most striking feature had to be her large bladed metal wings that were curled up at her back.

"Indeed it has..so you're the new Hell-lord of that old territory eh? Well, that old skank Vivitullus got what he deserved" she said keeping her smile still.

"Yes, and yes...this is Axeiria the seventh Hell-lord and ruler of the northern territory-she also beats the title that you may know her as the Queen of swords and the war maiden,"  Firefly introduced the rest.

For such intimidating titles, she had a very friendly introduction even flashing a peace-sign and saying.

"Hiya!"

"Where's everyone else?" Asked Firefly

"Already waiting in the chambers except for Tor'va-he had some business to attend to" replied the war demon.

She then finally asked.

"Now Akure I recognize...along with your guards of course-but who are these four?" She asked Firefly.

"These are the four shadows-Amerenx, Skiá, Sombra, and Scáth-their shadow demons from the sixth plain and I brought them along as I figured they'd be able to help me explain why I called this meeting," said Firefly.

The war demon tilted her head in genuine curiosity and interest.

"Ah, I see well-welcome to the ninth plain-don’t consume too many souls, and above all, have fun!" She said

Needless today the four shadows didn't exactly have a good reply to that.

Turning around as the war demon led the group to the chambers, Firefly said quickly to the group.

"When we get in there I'll make brief introductions of everyone else there," in which she got nods of confirmation in return.

After a few more seconds another figure appeared from the shadows apparently having shadow-traveled to get there.

This figure had short red hair, large bat-like wings that had red and black scales to them, she wore a vet revealing outfit that looked to be made out of armor but also leather as her armored forearms crossed her chest as she smirked and said, "Guess I'm not too late to the party eh?"

"Nope, not at all sis!" Replied Axereia

"Sis?" Echoed Amerenx

"Yes, sis. This is my sister Kisiragi also known as the Queen of blood," replied Axerixia.

The demon in question smiled serenely and teased, "Aye, ya never heard of little'ol me?"

Amerenx nodded, surprised.

"Oh yes, we have heard of you... your exploits are legends in other Hell-plains as well as the mortal realms" he said

The Queen of Blood smiled.

"Hey, that's what happens when you become a badass at magic," she said laughing afterward

Chuckles were heard from all the groups.

"Anyway, we're all set to enter the chambers?" Asked Firefly.

"Indeed we are youngling..shall we?" Mused Kisiragi.

"This is gonna be fun!" Stated Axerixia.

And with that, they entered through the doorway to the chambers.

After they walked through the massive arch-way the demons were shown quite the sight.

A massive round chamber-like room stretched out before them and I'm the center of it was a flat-round shaped table with markings of ancient demonic symbols that glowed with magic.

This was the table known as the cartographer. This table was the source of all history and knowledge in the ninth plain of Hell and was vital to it's survival.

The table itself had a spirit, the spirit of a primordial demon known only as "The keeper" a being who has existed since time immemorial.

His true origins are unknown and to this day his origins and even what he truly is, is shrouded in mystery.

The only known thing about him, is that he was one of the first demons to ever exist, he was truly immortal he could never be killed no matter what was used against him.

Only stalled.

Luckily he only protected the Hell-plain and attacked those that threatened its survival.

And may the creator have mercy on those who crossed him.

His powers could give even the biggest gods a run for their money

Despite being a demon he was surprisingly non-hostile, only attacking as a final defense.

And he truly did care for the demons before him; he never was one for emotions and had the emotional state of a rock, but you could tell by his actions that he did indeed care.

As the demons walked closer to the table more figures came into view circling the room all the while.

"Well, well the new bloods arrive," mused a large manticore with a pair of abnormally large horns.

"Yes Axe so it would seem," said Kisiragi.

"Why have you called us together at such a time Firefly? We got business to attend back in our own territories," said a large creature that could only be described as a half human-half crab bring.

"Well, Brine, I'll quickly introduce the four I've brought with me then we will get right to that," she stated to which the demon-lord grunted in confirmation.

"Fellow Hell-lords these are the four shadows-assassins who have taken refuge, within my territory," she said

"Exiled?" Asked a large imp who sat hunched over on the side.

Amerenx nodded, "Yes, we are grateful for her allowing us to live on her territory"

"Pleasantries aside, you still haven't told us of the reason for this meeting," mused Brine.

"Fine I'll continue on...not too long ago I was approached by a being calling themselves a time-turner and claimed that they were here to "liberate" my territory saying I wasn't fit to lead...he then implied that he would go after the rest of the territories," explained Firefly.

"Now how do we know you are speaking the truth?" Asked Snarl.

"If you would listen to her voice influx, you would tell she is telling the truth," said a tall skeletal figure surrounded by dark mist.

Snarl in question just huffed in reply.

"I'll just quickly introduce you all-" started firefly

"That Imp over there is Snarl-the first Imp to ever become a Hell-lord-followed by Axe the second manticore to ever become a Hell-lord, Timberus the Lord of necromancy..and there should be Tor'va the beast tamer..you already know me,Kisiragi and Razor here," firefly finished adding.

"And these four are Amerenx, Skiá, Sombra and Scáth"

"And they are assassins, you say? From the sixth plain as well?" Asked Timbernus.

Firefly nodded in reply.

"With that out of the way we should focus on the main issue now-this time-turner Firefly mentioned" spoke up Kisiragi

"Yes agreed, '' spoke the blood queen's sister.

"I have not seen any indication of this "time-turner" you speak of why should we listen to you?" Objected Snarl.

"She is a new Hell-lord..perhaps you saw some other creatures do a mysterious form of magic that had to do with time?" Muttered Axe.

"She may be new but she has done things no lesser demon has...did he show anything else?" Brine spoke up.

This had caught Firefly off-guard; she hadn't expected the headstrong and very stubborn crab demon to at least somewhat take this side without disagreeing first.

"He had an army gathered from dozens of points throughout history from the mortal realms and brought them under his own personal control," firefly explained.

"And how large was this army?" Asked Kisiragi to which Axeireia chirped up much to Firefly's amusement.

"Big or small we'll take them down!"

"But what if she is lying?" Asked Axe

Timberus sighed and mused, "She is new and has full knowledge of what some of us here can do...given that knowledge she would be foolish to try and lie to us..it may be in our nature to lie and deceit but she is no fool."

Firefly facepalmed as Snarl protested.

"If we were truly at danger from this "time-turner" he would've shown his time-turning ass already!"

"Idiot..." replied the reaper like a demon.

Snarl bore his fangs when suddenly the queen of swords spoke up.

"Well, well, well it's a bird, it's a plane, it's the long lost Tor'va!" She pointed.

In one of the openings to the room a large dragon- a waveling, firefly identified was flying alongside a massive Phoenix-like bird called a yer'bug.

A Yer'bug was a massive Phoenix-like bird that radiated Hell-fire, equipped with claws made of steel and talons so strong even super-demons such as themselves would have trouble breaking free of those claws.

A Waveling was a normally small-sized dragon around the size of a smaller semi-truck. Equipped with fire-razor sharp claws and poison among other weapons.

Both had reason to be feared.

But these two were abnormally large variants- alpha's to be exact which if both were flying next to each other, without killing each other that could only mean one thing.

Tor'va the Hell-lord known as the beast tamer, and the realm ruiner.

As the two dived on the tower they suddenly spread their wings and came to a stop.

And a massive metallic figure jumped off.

Landing beside his two pets stood a massive knight-like humanoid with fire that erupted steadily from various joint-points of his armor.

His helmet looked like a furnace in one small metal container.

"Tor'va you’re late," Brine huffed.

"I was talking to the keeper Brine-for whatever reason he decided to relocate to the stone table five miles south of here," He grumbled in reply

The stone table he mentioned was an ancient table where before the orbs moved to the tower used to reside.

The keeper had deemed the table too exposed (for obvious reasons) to properly protect the orb, so he moved them to the tower in the center of the Hell-plain.

Brine sighed and Axe said, "Firefly here was telling us of an apparent "time-turner" running amok in this plain."

"Yes, I know..we are in quite the serious danger because of him," replied the flaming knight.

"You haven't even heard her evidence or side yet!" Said Snarl.

"Actually, I have as well-the keeper informed me of his presence in this realm.. and the forces he has stolen from time," Tor'va replied.

Snarl had nothing to say in return.

As if to emphasize the point Tor'va made the table in the center of the room suddenly glowed blue and let out a blue mist.

A hooded figure with no visible face or even visible eyes showed himself from within the mist and it spoke.

"Listen to them..they speak the truth..the very foundation of this realm is at risk"

All the Hell-lords currently present kneeled out of respect for the pure, primordial demon which was the keeper.

"Where is he currently then, keeper?" Asked Snarl

"In the mortal realms he has made his base of operations in an abandoned human city where he is gathering the final remains of his forces" replied the keeper's gravely deep voice that lacked all and any form of emotion.

"Then is it settled?" Asked Kisiragi.

"Settled for what?" Asked Axe looking at the demon.

Firefly then spoke up, "To war."

Axerxia cheered in excitement
