Walking back to her fortress, she glanced behind her and asked the newcomers the four shadows, "So why exactly did you seek out my territory among others?"

"We had nowhere else to go. We wouldn't dare go to the lower plains. We wanted to retain our dignity and honor, and you and your ice friend's feat of overthrowing Vivitullus's leadership have reached the ears of many demons and Hell-lords in the lower realms." Said Amerenx

"And is that good or bad?" Asked Firefly

"Depends on who you ask. A few of us, like ourselves, find it to be good while others find it...not so good" stated Amerenx.

"Regardless, it impressed many demons that demons as young as you managed to overthrow a Hell-lord that has lived for eons...and was in league with a god," stated a new voice which Firefly identified to be Sombra.

Sombra seemed to only speak at certain moments or when it really counted or of course when spoken too.

"He was in league with a god?" Replied Firefly she had never heard this. She knew that he planned to spread chaos and ruin across all the realms, but she had never heard that he was actually in league with a god.

"Yes, the God of Chaos and Ruin-Shad a cruel and deceitful God whose very existence depended on chaos and ruin, " Sombra replied with a slight hint of distaste for the name.

"Frost..-my ice friend, mentioned Vivitullus meeting a God once," said Firefly.

"She is well known in the lower plains. Many Hell-lords find her to be a curious individual- not meant to exist but governs more power then those twice her age, I mean..in demonic age she's still an infant," said Skiá.

"Which scares me," replied Firefly coolly.

"You mean by how powerful she could be once she reaches the age of ten thousand?" Asked Amerenx.

Firefly nodded, "yep."

"Makes sense." 

Turning a corner, they found themselves at the foot of her fortress it's sheer size surprising the four shadows.

"It's huge!" said the fourth member Scáth

"That's an understatement," said Skiá

Firefly chuckled,” It got me too the first time I saw it and it's no smaller on the inside either." 

“You can hide an entire army in there can't you?" Asked Amerenx.

Firefly nodded, "oh,  yes. certainly, Vivitullus held two entire legions of minions within the walls.”

"Quite a handful," commented Amerenx.

"Yes, indeed," she mused

After they entered and Firefly noticed just how wary some of her minions were of the four shadows, and frankly, she couldn't blame them.

Akure walked out and bowed respectfully. ."Now, this is an odd turn of events...the four shadows on our doorstep? For what reason?" He asked, looking at Firefly.

"They tell me that they were banished by their Hell-lord and exiled as he no longer saw fit for their services," said Firefly in reply.

"Indeed..it is a deed we shall not forgive," snarled Scáth

"Well then..welcome..aboard. I guess you could say?" Said Akure awkwardly.

Firefly nodded and introduced her second in command to the four shadows, "Four shadows this is my second in command, Akure. He used to serve Vivitullus but was killed by Frost. However, unlike the other three generals, she spared him. She knew that his heart wasn't in the fight and that he was being forced to fight her.” 

"Ah a generous fate then" stated Skiá

Akure nodded. "Indeed and I am grateful for her decision," said Akure before turning around and speaking some more, "But we have more issues now that the time-turner has  sent us a note.” He gestured to an imp who held a scroll.

"What is it?" Firefly asked the imp and the imp said in a raspy English voice.

"Dear Firefly-" it began, "I have decided to be generous and grant you one month to make a decision between two options-

-The first option is for you to gather your armies and try and face me in battle. The result will be surrender from your army, broken and weak.

Or, you could wisely surrender now and perhaps I could even let you rule with me by my side if you know what I mean-

Regardless, I also know how time flies faster in this blasted realm of yours

So you better decide soon.

-the local time-turner"

Firefly stood there silently as the imp closed the scroll.

Akure sighed, "we got that just after you left to meet the four shadows.”

"So..what will you do Hell-lord?" Asked the imp.

Firefly remained silent.

Scáth snarled aggressively.

"If it was up to me we'd fight!" He snarled

"At ease Scáth, let her make her decision, and besides this is a time turner we're talking about here, the amount of destruction they could cause is unprecedented." Said Sciá

"Not to be the bringer of bad news, but they could simply reverse time and revive their entire army," said Amerenx.

"Not with that attitude he won't," said Sombra suddenly.

The rest turned to him

Akure muttered, "what do you mean?"

Sombra looked at him but overall spoke to everyone that was currently assembled, "His personality is ego-filled, and one of narcissism, he's so confident and proud of victory that he won't even bother to revive them.”.

"-speaking of armies, how did he even gain an army? Last I checked time turners control time Not minds," said Scáth.

"Mind control device. When I spoke to him I saw it on his forehead. That’s how he controls his forces. He can't control them himself, so he must improvise," stated Firefly suddenly.

She then turned to the imp and said, "And what will I do?" 

She then drew her massive katana which glowed with infused Hellfire. It illuminated part of her face.

"We're demons. More specifically demons of the eastern territory of the ninth plain and if there's one thing that we don't do, it's  surrender without a fight, no dying on our knees." She stated

"That's the spirit firefly," said Akure approvingly

"We are in your debt. Therefore we shall assist you in any means you see fit," said Amerenx.

"Appreciated, now. Imp spread the word we are going to war and have the armies muster in the war camps," she said, turning to the messenger imp who bowed while nodding and ran into the wall. He became a shadow and vanished from sight.

"The rest of us will gather in the war room and plan our means of attacking, ” Stated Firefly.

"We don't know what we will be up against," said Sombra quietly.

"I do actually, in his ego-filled rant, he showed me at least some of his forces. It gave me an idea of what we will be facing-it's various and numerous types of armies from various timelines and eras," Replied Firefly

"Typical army for a time turner," said Sombra in reply.

"Now let's get to the war room," she said with a smile and a chuckle,"I got a few new ideas in mind."
