I didn't cry, but I wasn't entirely brave either. I hid behind the legs of Alyssa. I knew if he had my controller that he could take me, so I took Alyssa's leg as if a barrier. I laid low and growled. I didn't once move. The others started to follow Rose. Their leader of course. I stayed back like a little kit. Although, my worst nightmare was in front of me. The dagger that had killed my parents was in his left hip. Stained with blood. My parents blood. "NO! DON'T THINK LIKE THAT!" I would mentally scream to myself. I pawed at the ground looking up at his menacing smile. The grim look in his eyes. It's hard to believe that there was a heart in that machine. Rose saw something more though. I guess it's a brother sister thing. I wouldn't know though. "Hello vixen," he smirked, "I miss having your controller, it's no wonder I just don't take the robotic parts away now." Rose had jumped and I made a noise in my throat I wouldn't have known I could make. Alyssa turned around and ran to me, scooping me up and holding me by the scruff. I couldn't tell what she was thinking. I could tell that Rose was against this idea. She had put her hand on her right side, her finger tips stretched to her pockets, her switchblade was in that pocket. She finally realized how evil he'd become, just within a matter of seconds. "Linkin, how could you? Innocent creatures they are!" She had a tone of despair in her voice, I couldn't figure that out either. "I've searched this far to find you! And I find you now. Robotics and controllers. Taking innocent ones and turning them into things they're not." Rose's eyes had turn green, to a really dark green that you'd think it was black if you'd seen it. "Darling, sister." He grabbed her right hand. And I could've swore I saw her mouth a curse word. "Dint be so naive, they simply were already dying, you see... I put them out of misery. Cured them of disease. That's what I did to your darling fox over there." Alyssa growled. "All I did was care for him, cure him of disease and asked him to favor me as a gift in return." Rose was shaking with rage. Her eyes now had leaf shaped pupils, it was something so bizarre anyone could have been fooled. "YOU THINK THIS IS OKAY? YOU THINK PUTTING MECHANICS IN ANIMALS ARE OKAY? JUST BECAUSE THEY HAD A DISEASE? CURE THEM, ASK THEM TO FANCY YOU I DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT! I JUST CARE ABOUT YOU THREATENING MY CREATURES! MY CREATIONS BROTHER! YOU WILL STOP OF THIS IMMEDIATELY!" She was screaming so loud it made Jake jump at first, she had drawn her Switchblade and was holding it at her brothers throat, "you do understand me right, brother?"
"I understand, sister."
"Very well then, I expect to see where you've been all these years."
Rose turned into animal form, Linkin had said no more and was leading us off to his home. The place my parents died. The place I was going to die. Alyssa didn't let me go. Even though I was squirming. I could feel her tears hit my fur. I continued to squirm even more. I was causing her pain. Pain I wouldn't cause her anymore. She'd have to deal with me just a little longer. Just until Linkin killed me.
