Another week has passed, and everything has been going well, Desmond and Ashley have been slowly getting along with each other, and Ashley has also liked the family so far. Though there were still a lot of adjustments she had to go through but she was handling it well.

Another good news is that Monica announced that she is two weeks pregnant, and everyone was so happy for Alex and Monica and congratulated them.

Meanwhile, Ashley's family came over to the house and were talking to Desmond's family in the living room, while Ashley and her friends were in another room along with Desmond and his friends.

Benjamin: This house always feels peaceful, honestly.

Racheal: That's true, It's pretty relaxing.

Thomas: So, are we going to have a party tonight?

Emma: A party for the woman who is about to be a mother in nine months!

Alex: *Chuckles* You guys are something already.

Monica: *Laughs and blushes* Maybe Alex would throw a celebration tonight.

Chris: KFC, Again?

Danielle: *Laughs* Just like what Alex did after me and Chris's wedding, He bought KFC for the whole family.

Michael: *Chuckles* Now I remember the time when Racheal and Thomas got married, I took everyone to an Indian restaurant for a celebration.

Desmond: *Chuckles* Looks like you and Alex got the same vibes.

Racheal: Hahaha! That time was really fun, but be honest, Alex. What are you thinking for tonight?

Monica: *Stares at Alex* It better be good.

Chris: *Laughs* You don't trust him or something?

Danielle: Hahaha, Alex, you better be careful.

Desmond: Don't let the cheetah bite.

They all shared a laugh together, In these two months, Ashley's friends got along with Desmond's friends very well, and they already felt like best friends.

Thomas: So anyways, Desmond. How are you and Ash doing?

Emma: Be honest, Have you two been getting along?

Desmond: Honestly, We have been getting along. Though it's a bit difficult sleeping knowing I have someone next to me.

Chris: *Chuckles* This is going to take a lot of time for you, buddy.

Desmond: Hahaha, true, but everything is going good so far.

Benjamin: That's great to hear. Anyways, where is our sister at?

Alex: I saw her walking out of the kitchen earlier, She's probably with the others.

Desmond: Oh, I see.

Desmond was sitting while thinking about Ashley as everyone was talking to each other until Michael saw someone walking towards them as McMahon smiled and said something.

Michael: Hey Romeo, Your Juliet is here.

Desmond: What?

Ashley smiled at and waved at everyone as Desmond was smiling and looking at her as Racheal whispered something to her friends.

Racheal: Aww, look at the way Desmond looks at her.

Danielle: He always does that, and it's so cute.

Ashley: What's up?

Monica: Nothing much actually, We were waiting for you.

Ashley: Sorry, I was brewing tea for the family, Would you like some?

Benjamin; No, It's okay, Ashley.

Desmond: *Smiles at Ashley* Should I get juice for you?

Ashley: No, Desmond. I don't need juice right now.

She smiled at him as Crowe smiled and nodded as everyone was smiling at the couple before they began talking to each other.

They continued talking to each other about their lives and other topics until Desmond had a phone call from work as he told everyone that he would be back in a minute.

Sometime later, Desmond was done with the phone call before he saw Ashley walking towards him as she said something.

Ashley: Is everything okay, Desmond?

Desmond: Everything is fine, I just got a call from work.

Ashley: How is it going so far?

Desmond: It's going well. The staff was just asking me some questions.

Ashley: Oh, I see.

Desmond: So, Mom and Dad are still talking?

Ashley: Yeah, They're mostly talking about old stories that happened years ago.

Desmond: *Chuckles* I see.

Ashley: I just wanted to check up on you, Would you like some coffee?

Desmond: Okay, how about we both have a cup of coffee together?

Ashley: *Smiles* Really?

Desmond smiled and nodded as Ashley went to the kitchen to brew some coffee.

Eventually, she was done as she served coffee to her friends as well before she went to the bedroom and saw Desmond on his flip phone as he looked at her and smiled.

Ashley: And here is your coffee, I added something special inside.

Desmond: Hahaha, is it specifically for me?

Ashley: Yup, I hope you like it.

Crowe smiled and took a sip of coffee as he looked at Ashley and smiled at her.

Desmond: Oooh, you added chocolate, right?

Ashley: You guessed it.

Desmond: It's really good, actually. Thank you for making this, Ashley.

Ashley: No problem!

She left the room and went to check on her friends as Desmond was smiling and thinking about Ashley, A few minutes later, Ashley arrived with her cup of coffee as she sat next to Desmond.

Ashley: Are you more of a coffee person?

Desmond: I actually like both coffee and tea. What about you?

Ashley: I like coffee more, especially because it helps with headaches.

Desmond: You're right about that, By the way, have you spoken to my sister, Anastasia?

Ashley: The last time I spoke to her was the day after her wedding.

Desmond: Well, She might be coming over to stay in our house.

Ashley: Oh really? That's great!

Desmond: I'm excited to see her in the house.

Ashley: You really love your sister a lot.

Desmond: *Smiles* I really do, And you don't have siblings, right?

Ashley: Well, my friends downstairs are technically my siblings because I grew up with them.

Desmond: That's really sweet.

Ashley: But actually, when I was five years old, my mom was pregnant with twin boys. Unfortunately, when mom was six months pregnant, She lost them in her womb.

Desmond looked sad as Ashley was staring at the ground and also felt sad recalling that time.

Desmond: I'm really sorry, Ashley.

Ashley: It's okay, My mom and dad already chose their names, Benjamin and Brian.

Desmond: Oh, one of them is named after McFarland?

Ashley smiled and nodded as Desmond had a small smile on his face before he touched Ashley's shoulder as Ashley looked at him.

Desmond: I'm really sorry to hear about your loss, Ashley.

Ashley: Its Okay, thank you, Desmond

Desmond: Your mother is a really strong woman.

Ashley: That's true, I'm happy that she moved pushed through the pain.

Ashley grabbed Desmond's hand and held it tightly as both of them smiled at each other, It was the first time they ever held hands after their wedding day.

Eventually, they came back downstairs as the friends looked at them while Ashley and Desmond were awkwardly standing.

Monica: What's going on here?

Chris: Where have you two been?

Ashley: Uhhh, I just wanted to give coffee to him.

Benjamin: Hahaha, for that long?

Racheal: Or was there a romantic talk happening upstairs?

Ashley: *Blushes* Racheal!!!!

Desmond covered his face as everyone began laughing before Danielle said something.

Danielle: Busted Hahaha!

Desmond: That's not true, Danielle!

Thomas: Hahahaha, don't worry, we are teasing ya.

Ashley and Desmond looked at each other and smiled before Robert called her daughter's name as Fleihr quickly walked away as Crowe followed her.

The group smiled at each other as Alex said something about Desmond and Ashley.

Alex: I'm happy that they are getting along, at least.

Chris: As long as they slowly bond, They will love and care about each other.

Michael: *Smiles* I can't wait to see the journey of their love story.

Emma: It's gonna be better than Romeo and Juliet.

They looked at Emma before they shared a laugh together as the family continued having lots of fun together.
