It was the next day as today was a free day for Desmond, It was also gonna be Desmond and Ashley's first date together, Both of them were excited but also felt nervous about it.

Right now, Ashley was seen brushing her hair while fixing her outfit.

Ashley smiled at the mirror and checked if her makeup was okay as She grabbed her phone and left the room.

Ashley was downstairs until she heard Anastasia and Jane talking in the kitchen while Jane was cutting some fruits as Ashley was listening to their conversation.

Ana: Desmond and Ashley are going out right now.

Jane: Oh yes, Desmond told me about it yesterday.

Ana: You know I'm hoping that Ashley doesn't take any advantage of us, She came from a rich family and surely she will try to do something with our family.

Jane: That's true, And another thing I'm making sure it never happens is her using our money as if it grows on trees.

Ana: You're correct about that, Mom. That's why I'm testing her out.

Ashley was shocked by what they were saying, Even Desmond's mother had been trying to test Ashley out? During the day of their marriage, Jane seemed like she trusted and liked Ashley, but it looked like she was hiding a lot of things.

Ashley immediately walked away as She was trying to forget about what they were talking about and wanted to enjoy her first date with Desmond.

She continued walking until she saw Desmond standing near the front door as Ashley looked at him in shock.

As soon as she saw Desmond, Her mood was lightened as Ashley smiled at him and waved at him.

Crowe looked at her and smiled at her and waved at her back as He said something.

Desmond: Ready to go?

Ashley: Yup, I'm ready.

They both smiled at each other and left the house as both of them were walking while making their way to the nearby cafe.

Ashley kept staring at Desmond as she really wanted to compliment him, but she felt shy and nervous, and when Desmond looked at her, She would quickly turn away.

Desmond was smiling at Ashley and found the outfit looking beautiful, but he also felt shy to compliment her.

Eventually, They made it to the cafe as both of them sat on their seats and smiled at each other.

Ashley: Well, We are here now.

Desmond: Haha, Yup. So what do you wanna eat? I'm actually feeling pretty hungry right now.

Ashley: Hmmm, anything, honestly. Whatever you like to order.

Desmond: How about some chocolate pancakes?

Ashley: *Smiles* Sure, those are my favourite.

Desmond: *Chuckles* It's your lucky day.

Ashley giggled as Desmond smiled at her and was waiting to the waiter until he arrived as Crowe gave him the order as the waiter nodded and walked away.

Ashley: I'm actually really excited, This cafe looks really nice.

Desmond: Same here, I love coming here. Sometimes I bring my family or friends in this cafe and we take our seats and talk to each other.

Ashley smiled and nodded as she remembered Anastasia and Jane's conversation in the kitchen as Ashley shook her head and gave a smile.

Ashley: That's honestly very nice. Can I tell you something, Desmond?

Desmond: Sure, What is it?

Ashley was about to tell what Ana and Jane were talking about in the kitchen but she was silent and thought twice, She didn't any misunderstanding between her and Desmond, Ashley was also worried if Desmond will get mad at her.

Ashley: . . . . . You look handsome in that suit.

Ashley covered her face in embarrassment as Desmond was shocked and was too stunned to speak, He also began blushing as he had a smile on his face.

Desmond: Thanks a lot, Ashley. I appreciate it.

Ashley: *Giggles* Your welcome.

Desmond: You look. . . . Amazing as well.

Ashley: *Blushes* Awww, thanks, Desmond.

Desmond: You're welcome.

They both looked at each other as they were talking to each other until their breakfast arrived as they looked at the plate of pancakes.

They looked at the pancakes and began eating it as Both of them were enjoying the food while speaking to each other.

Ashley: What's your favourite dessert, Desmond?

Desmond: Brownies, What about you?

Ashley: Pancakes, cakes, ice cream, cookies, Okay I'm just giving a list to you instead.

Desmond laughed a little as Ashley was smiling at him.

Desmond: You really seem to like desserts.

Ashley: I do, I actually love baking.

Desmond: That's really cool.

Ashley: What's your hobbies?

Desmond: Working out, watching movies and playing tennis.

Ashley: Wow, You play tennis?

Desmond: When I was a kid, I always loved playing tennis. Although when I started working, I haven't got the time.

Ashley: I see, You should show me how you play.

Desmond: *Laughs* Sure, When I get the time. I'll definitely show you. . . What's your hobbies besides baking?

Ashley: I like reading books, drawing and watching movies.

Desmond: Ooooh that's awesome, I'm surprised modeling isn't part of your hobbies?

Ashley: *Raises an eyebrow* What do you mean by that?

Desmond: Because you look like a model.

Ashley: *Smiles and flips her hair* Oh really?

Desmond: Yup, Kinda like Adriana Lima.

Ashley laughed as Desmond laughed with her as Ashley fixed her hair and looked at him.

Ashley: So you like Adriana or me?

Desmond: Of course, I choose you.

Ashley: Aww, that's so sweet of you, Desmond.

They both smiled at each other and continued eating the pancakes. Soon, they were done eating as Desmond ordered two cappuccinos for themselves.

Desmond was drinking his cappuccino as he looked at Ashley who was drinking as Desmond smiled and found her adorable.

Desmond smiled at her as Ashley raised an eyebrow and smiled at him as Desmond chuckled and looked away while Ashley was giggling.

Both of them were starting to get even more comfortable with each other.

Eventually, They decided to return home as Desmond and Ashley were walking back to the house as Fliehr said something to him.

Ashley: We should definitely go out again.

Desmond: For sure, I enjoyed hanging out with you.

Ashley smiled at him as Crowe opened the door and got inside as Ashley followed him and saw the family.

Desmond: We are back!

Chris: Hey! How was the date?

Ashley: *Smiles* It was amazing, We had a fun time.

Alex: That's awesome! What did you eat?

Desmond: Chocolate Pancakes, It's also one of Ashley's favourite meals.

Ana: Awww, how cute!

Jane: I'm glad you made Ashley happy, Haha.

Ashley gave a stare to Jane and Ana, She pretended to smile at him as Desmond and Ashley sat next to the family as they were all talking to each other.

Soon, Ashley changed into casual clothes as she was walking out of her bedroom until she saw Desmond as Ashley gave a smile to him as Crowe smiled at her back and went to the bedroom.

Ashley began thinking about Desmond as she was smiling to herself before she walked away.

Meanwhile, Desmond was folding his clothes as He began thinking about Ashley and had a smile on his face.

Ashley walked to the living room and saw Jane and Anastasia who gave a look to her as Ashley ignored their stare and sat on the couch and gave a smile as they smiled at her.

Ashley noticed Ana and Jane were whispering something to each other as Ashley just stared at them.
