"Y/N! You done with those invitations yet?" Percy called out from across the cabin.

"Almost!" I said, beginning to write the last one. "Hand me the list?"

He passed me the notebook which had the list of invited people.

"Yup," I said, popping the p, "this should be the last one, Piper's."

"Great," Percy said. "Man, I'm excited. Frank and Hazel and Reyna and probably even Thalia are coming. This is gonna be a blast. You'll love them."

"I'm sure I will," I said, curving the y in cordially. "Although these invites are a little late. You sure it'll get to Thalia in time? The meeting party's scheduled for tomorrow, Percy. And the others won't be able to make it from California in time."

"Don't be such a party pooper, Y/N," Percy said. "They can make it. I'm sending some pegasi over to pick them up. And Thalia can manage."

" Okay, then, Persassy," I said. I had only just found out about the little nickname, when Leo had been teasing Percy about it.

My heart did a little tap dance at the thought of him. Over the past few days we'd been hanging out a lot, and I'd started to develop a crush on him. I figured my chances with him were alright, given that he was single, but there were a lot of other pretty girls at camp. I really wanted him to like me.

"And it was the funniest thing in the world," Reyna said. Yes, Reyna, of all people, had come over and just started chatting with me. She was pretty chill. And, surprisingly, under all those outer layers, pretty funny.

That was when the redhead (Rachel, right?) burst in, looking out of breath. Chiron, in full horse form, came trotting up behind her.

"Guys! Everyone!" She yelled. "There's been a new prophecy!"

I guess I kind of spoiled it before, but I seriously have to go to bed. My parents are gonna kill me for being up, and if they find out I'm not up for work they're gonna kill me, bring me back to life, then kill me again. So bye-bye!
