Chapter:-24
Louis P.O.V
Leaving Germany filled colors in our heart's rooms but a corner remained painted in shades of grey.
Her lips still had not parted and muscles still didn't move. After getting into a jet she sat on the last sofa with arms crossed on table and head buried in.
Harry tried to talk to her,but she had cut the conversation with yeses and nodes. I knew she was laying silent tears on her arms but my fear held me back. I wanted to sit beside her and apologize, whip those tears and fill those shades of grey with yellow.
We all sat together on the couch to watch 'Hawksaw Ridge.' Thought the movie was longer than our flight but Liam had insisted.
Me and her were forced to sit and watch but our minds were swimming somewhere else. I wanted to go straight to her and apologize but my second mind was taking over my guilt.
'She's a captive let her be that. Don't escalate her steps to your heart.''
And at some point I thought, it was right. Insecurity switched my likeableness towards her. My heart squeezed when I imagined her running away from us. I didn't want to bear any amount of risk to my gang and especially my friends. So at the end. I listened to my second mind which said," let it flow the way it is going. Make a casual conversation with her when time clicks. She's a person who will fit into anything."
We reached London at midnight and the journey to the house pinched me longer than other days. Maybe it was those cracks between me and her.
I had got used to sleep beside her and reaching back in London. We had a different room for her. Though I wanted her to stay with me but a strange feeling held me back. Something was holding me back to make it right.Leaden chest but I knew it was desolated inside and that desolation did not allowed me to peace in sleep.

Harry said we were going out. No one knew where.
Legs sluggish in movement when I headed down from stairs. Last night I couldn't sleep for a minute. There was a tight strange heavy feeling around my heart. Squeezing it every next second.
"Hey! Louis. Why didn't you shower?" Niall asked.
"Didn't felt like having." A yawn followed my words.
"Or did you want somebody's company?" Harry was playing dirty now.
Then everyone whistled wolves. Irritation switched my tiredness but when I imagined it with her, both tiredness and irritation melted.
"
Look at his smirk. Light would tear her clothes for this." Liam teased while chuckling and brought dishes full of food to serve.
"I'll go wake her up," Niall said and jolted up.
She had become like our friends just in a month. She never irritated us like other hostages. Obey and stayed quiet. Though I got furious sometimes but I had exceptional with mental disorder.
"She isn't here," Niall shouted from upstairs.
"Check the bathroom or other rooms," Harry replied while chewing his sandwich.
"I checked everywhere. She's nowhere to be found," he said while lurched downstairs.
Everyone left their meals on plates and started searching but she was not down steps too.Wall of trust, slowly started making cracks of insecurities. A pictured of her running away with a destiny to reach Joe, ran in my mind. I was slowly experiencing a heartbreak. Where my shoulders slumped with a frown arduous to whip off. My heart had meet a newer weight of pain and anger.
Door open, disclosing her face with brown eyes and small raw lips and her blondish brown hair framed it perfect. She casually smiled at Harry, unaware of what was happening seconds before. He asked her that where did she went and confessed that we went crazy thinking that she had escaped. She replied that she needed some air but I knew she went to blink times and times to let every last drop down.
They all had perfect breakfast, cracking jokes with laughter filling in air but I stayed cold inside. Even she had let it cool. She had a fun time too. I could reckon her true laugh.

Every time the truck jerked, my head dumped to the window glass. Afresh I stayed fine and flew some painful chuckles but times to seconds it bullied me. Niall was sitting on the side too, why didn't his head bang?
Sunshine was invading the heavy green leaves of long trees. It empowered its kingdom on ground grass. Shine; reveled those dewdrops as crystals.
"It's pleasant here," Niall said, closed his eyes and breath in.
"Why did you bring us here?Harry," I asked.
"How do you feel right now?" He questioned with smirk.
"Good."
"Look, you already have the answer," he said and rubbed my shoulder then walked passed me.
Niall lead us to a lake that we never had seen before. I lived there for more than five years and how could I never see it before. Then some how a conversation started. I didn't know how it pop.
"We all have different dating experiences in this forest, isn't it Niall?"Liam sassed him.
Laughter escaped our mouth like bombs. The incident was passed since two years but his foolishness still brought the fun to us. We laughed so, hard. Harry was punching the ground with his fist. Liam laid down while fluttering his legs up in the air. Niall cheeks turned red in embarrassment, he bowed his head down with few chuckles.
Where,Light who knew nothing of that, still laughed to see us fooling around as pigs."What's it all about?" She asked between her laughs.
"Niall, onc-" Liam tried to tell us but, I cut his words.
"No, no. I'll tell. I was the witness." It was hard to speak while laughing.
"Louis, let it be. It's between us. Don't tell her," Naill jumped in to save himself.
"Shut up, do you want to know?" I shut him up and asked her. She replied with an eager nod.
"Look, Naill met a girl in this form st. She was just roaming about and with God's miracle they met some how. Just in a day he madly fell for her. He went crazy for her, he used to meet her everyday. In two weeks he gave her seven gifts," I was telling her everything but Naill barked disturbing us.
But Harry was grateful enough to shut him up.
"One day she asked him to show his house in Germany. The house where all his previous guns and drugs were kept. With all of that, he had some stolen jewellery too. He being a lame, agreed and took her."
"Then what happened," the three of them asked together.
"What?" She asked with a wide grin.
"Okay, as you are insisting. I'll tell ya!" I said while walking back and forth with my arms crossed over chest.
"He was suppose to come back, the same night but he didn't. I got worried because he wasn't picking up his phone too," I spelled the tale like a children story teller.
"And...," she said more like a question.
"I was in Dublin with Harry. I left my dear friend to find another. And when I reached there.." I longed the suspense.
"The house was dark and quiet but there was something I could hear.
Muffling. I ran up the steps in search of him and then......." I acted like a professional children story teller.
"Wanna know what I saw?" I asked. I could see Naill fully embarrassed. Shaking his head, wanted me to stop but I stayed mischievous!
"Yes." Giggle followed her answer.
"I switched the lights on and found him curled up in a ball. His mouth was tied with a scarf. Hands and legs tied together with a rope. He muffled more, watching me coming closer. The rope was so, tight that I had to burn them with my lighter. And when he was free. He told me that all the precious things were stolen and that thief had run away." I was at the end then.
"Any guesses. Who stole and tied him up?" I asked.
"The same girl," she replied and laughed hard. She took it more funny than us.
"Oh! Naill. Ho-w could you be so la- lame?" She couldn't even speak properly.
"Please,Light. Don't make fun about it now," Naill was ashamed now.
For minutes more, we stayed on the same conversation. Then Harry whispered something to her. She nodded and they stood up to move. I gawped at them with glares and curiosity. He put his arm around her shoulder that they both took steps.
From my breaths to heartbeat, everything turned furious. I didn't want to show it but my inner curiosity wanted to know their plans.
"Where you guys heading?" Liam asked and sipped his apple juice.
"Wanna join," Harry turned around and asked.
Liam kept this bottle down and asked me and Niall that if we wanted to go. Niall agreed and so as my furious heart.Still surprised inside, believing that I talked to her, so casually. She was still open to me. Even when I hurt her so bad. The guilt stayed there, making me feel bad but I needed to fan it away.
Then I recognised the path we were following."Harry! Are you leading us to sculpture?" I asked.
He nodded and he and Sparrow exchanged gazes. I badly wanted to knock his head down. They were just friends and I knew it. But the fact was hard to swallow that they were, so close to each other.
"Look, it's here." He alarmed her.
"There's something written here," she said and bend down to get a clearer look. She brushed the dust off by her hands from it. It wasn't exactly a sculpture. But a plain gray hard stone in with my Granddad had finely engraved some words.
"Can't understand it." She pouted and straighten up.
"It's in Irish," Liam commented.
"Don't run in circles.
Fight winds and
Fly like an Eagle
But in the right air."
Liam translated it for me.
"Did he wrote it for you?" She asked.
"Yeah!" Niall's words garnished gladness.
"I can't get it out of my mind. It's so inspiring. Do you guys follow this?" She asked.
We had yeses but Harry yelled 'Is ea'.
While all the boys were busy, talking about my grandfather. That how joyful days spent with him. I intertwine my fingers with her.
Her astonished face turned to me and I returned it with a small smile, who hid my apology flawlessly. I rubbed my thumb on her soft skin. Though winter brought dryness to it but nothing was as soft as that I had ever touched.
"Wanna see something else?" I whispered.
She turned to me with no emotion but still nodded. My hand was wrapped around her fingers as I took her ten steps away from others.
"There are only veils," she said and put the hair strand behind her ears.
I scooted some veils to left, disclosing the writing on the stone.
"Louis. Dear, do it right." She bent on knees.
I wanted to have the clearer look of his writing, so I bent too.
"He said to do it right and I am finding it hard."
"I don't want to do it. But promises are bonding me here," I confessed. Breaking the brick I had on my chest.
"Maybe he wanted you to do it right in an another way. Not this," she said and gleamed her eyes at mine.
