A day together-part 13

Chapter:-13

Louis's. P.O.V

She fell into deep sleep in no time,I didn't miss to bite the cherry and quickly came downstairs. Liam wanted to talk to us and I was well aware of what it would be.We sat together and Liam started,"I have two things that you all have to focus on."

"I am all ears," Niall said and I glared that him because I didn't want too.

I had no interest to be scolded by my friend and useless responsibilities putting burden on my shoulder.

"Lou, you can't go upstairs and cuddle right now. So pay attention," Liam sternly said.

"Shut up, why do you have to bring that up?"

"Cause it's true. Big Lou is getting attracted to a hostage," Harry sneered in and they all started laughing hard.

"You'll wake her up. Shut it!" I scolded them.Soon they controlled their laughter but giggles and chuckles still escaped their mouths, making me growl."Get serious and tell me Liam what's the matter? But it shouldn't be on me and Sparrow" I immediately regretted  saying 'Sparrow' instead of her actual name. They chuckled again especially Liam but my serious face dropped the humor.

"Okay, Rogger and his brother is coming tomorrow." Liam straightened up.

"Why did you even invite them? You are aware of Sparrow being here."

"I didn't, they want some guns."

"And they always buy from us." Harry added.

"We surely don't want to repeat, what happened with Darren," Niall said and got up.

"Yeah,we got to hide her than," I said.

"Best place is basement," the moment Naill said that. I wanted to punch him so hard. We hadn't used our basement from years and it was really dirty. I don't want my Sparrow staying there.

"Shut up, it's dirty."

"She's just a hostage and it's only been nearly two weeks. Don't give her especial treatments," Liam shouted.

"I am the leader here, I'll decide what to do." It was the first time I had ever said that. Their faces dropped in pain. We were friends from years and I had never used those words before."I am sorry, I just got angry. I'll clean the basement."No one said anything and it felt like needles pining into my heart.

"It's okay, Liam. She'll stay in basement," I said again.

He nodded and I walked away. So, as the others.

****

I was on my way to throw rubbish when I heard his Irish accent,"You're a pus**y, can't do anything on your own."Harry took the rubbish bag from my hand and gave me a vacuum cleaner.

"I called some of our gang members to come but everyone is in England so,they can't come here at the time." Liam came in.

"She's good and we do good to good people," Niall said. He used his authentic German accent that was really funny. Though no one else found that accent funny but me.

"It's a plum job from little Lou to his little Sparrow." It was Liam now and we all chuckled.

When I snapped at them back in the living room. I thought it won't be fixed. It was the worst pain ever I had  felt. I could bare the Gang's burden all my life but hurting my friends wasn't countable.

With them I didn't even knew when time passed. Everyone kept making fun of how I was behaving with her, though I dislike her undefensive behaviour but still she gave me strong butterflies in my stomach.

We cleaned every corner and it didn't go pear. Tiredness empowered us so much that we ate like pigs, two in morning. I was on the last step on the stairs when Liam called me,"Lou, don't let the same thing happen, what happened with Jax."

"I won't."I was sure that, Sparrow won't ditch me.

"Look mate, she's a captive and sometimes these people leave some opportunities to run just to make us believe that they won't escape and the moment we believe them. They run away."

"Yes, I know about it and well aware of what happened with Kate. Her hostage played the same game."

"Yes, just don't put your heart on the sleeves so easily."

"I know Liam. I didn't put it easily!"

"So indirectly your admitting that you like her,"he said in a mocking tone because pushing me more on that topic was getting my nerves.

"Don't worry mate. I'll take care."

He nodded that we said our good nights but the moment I turned around I remembered something then I called him out,

"Liam, how many ransom letters have we sent to Joe till now?"

"Two."

"Are you guys planing on more or a threat?"

"Both."

"Please mate, let it be. Don't send more now."

"You seriously like her a lot. Go sleep."He was astonished.

And we headed to our own rooms.

****

I entered the room and switching the lights on, I saw her covered in my oldest pastel green blanket. I went closer and her both hands were joint together under her head she wasn't using  the pillow. I wanted to stand and admire her just like that but  could see the light invading her sleep. I had to turn it off but the lamp helped me with its dim yellow light.

I laid beside her, wrapped my arm around her waist, she moved a bit and it went good for me as she deepen her face in my chest almost nuzzling there.I didn't want to sleep but who can defeat it when your brain is on its last cell.

****

It was seven in morning, when Harry informed that Rogger would be come In, half an hour. I picked her up,ready to get her in basement."I know that Joe haven't paid till now, but don't throw me somewhere," she suddenly blurt out in wide eyes.

I kissed her head and said,"I'll never do that." I was surprised by my own strange words that just now uttered out of my mouth.

"Where are you taking me?"

"Basement."

"But believe me it's for your good." I quickly added.

"I do," she whispered

"What?"

" I do, believe you" she said and embraced me tighter while chuckling. That time she had no idea how big my smile was when she said that.

I sat her on the floor and gave her the blanket which she covered her body last night. I told her, I would be back soon and I knew her nod screamed that it's fine. I brought her the pillow and she fell asleep again and I sat there in front of her playing with her fingertips. They weren't soft but felt worn out neither hard and rough but different.

Niall came in while singing a love song just to tease me and then he told Rogger and his brother had arrived. We were in kitchen when I was informed they will leave in evening and that blew my mind off.

Why can't they just get the guns and go?

While they were gulping beer my mind was stuck to Sparrow. The bottle in my hand had its liquid touching top but for a reason I didn't wanted to kiss it. Soon Niall, Rogger and his brother went into the mini theater room.

"I am going."

I had beautiful plans in my mind with somebody.

"Where are you heading to?" Liam asked.

"I don't know, just chilling. I have the keys of the basement and don't open is forcefully until I come back."

"Why?"Harry asked.

"My wish and I said don't open it or even call her." I replied sternly. I was pissed at Liam for letting those brother stay until evening and that questions hit my nerves.

****

I entered from the back door. She was still laying on the floor the way I left her. It was nine when I last checked my phone.

I tickled her belly but it wasn't ticklish. I checked her back or underarms but nothing was ticklish last was her neck, her throat wasn't ticklish too but the moment my fingers tips traced on the crook of her neck a moan escaped her lips. But my mouth gave out mischievous chuckles.

I motioned my thumb in round against her sweet spot. Moans vamoosed her lips and it was like a rhythm for me. Her eyes opened wide and watching me doing that made her cheeks jetted red as she sat, then I backed up a little with the warm cheeks they must be red too.

"Come with me," I ordered and started walking away just to cool down the hot atmosphere compressed between us.

"Huh?" I knew she heard me right but wasn't sure of moving.

"Come on." I pulled her by wrist and stepped out with a care that I had never attempted.

On our whole way to life bus she kept yawning and when we finally hopped in she propped on the couch. Her left arm made itself a pillow under her chin and another one hanged on the side with a leg accompanying.

"Sparrow, don't sleep now," I cooed but that tons didn't budge her.

"Wake up, I want to spend some fun time and you're ruining my mood," I said with a little stern tone.

She sat and criss-crossed her legs, put her hair in a bun and rubbed her eyes then itched her forearms. She definitely wasn't a morning person. I would never get use to the scenery she would paint herself as, every morning.

"What would you like to eat?"

"What do you want me cook?" She asked.

"I ain't asking you to cook, I am asking what would you like to eat." A chuckle followed my words.

"Um, pancakes," after thinking hard she finely said.

"Would orange syrup work?"

"Yeah! I like it."

She helped me with some measurement then we ate in silence it was awkward because we both wanted to say something but had nothing.

***

I heard the shower turned off finally after half an hour she spent to much time just in showering. I thought few minutes would be taken more and then she'll be out but no, I heard more ruffling but the knob didn't click.
When I about to knock she chirped,
"Louis!" it was soft and impatient.

"Yes, what happen?" My words too carried impatience.

"Your jeans is too loose for me, it's dropping down."

I chuckled imagining her petite body in my light blue jeans that didn't embraced her waist and fell. Minutes later after rummaging hard in the cupboard, I gave her an elastic trouser hopped the draw string would help the pants up on her waist.

Her blondish brown looked darker when damp and the ends of her hair toppled few drops of water on the grey T-shirt making dark rounds.

I didn't even realise that was blocking her way and staring at her until she said, looking up at me."Please move."

I did and asked,"Mario?"

"Then you'll be found drugged and laying unconscious somewhere," she sassed and looked away.

I was surprised by he new sassy behavior.

"I won't and this bus has none."

She nodded and we set ourselves on the couches in front of the player. Though it was the easiest game I had ever played after childhood but it was joyful.

"Look, I won this level." I sneered her.

"Because I let you. You won on my mercy." She was being playful and I loved it.Then she dropped the controller on the couch and stood up yawning,"I am tired."

"I am too, playing a kiddish game." I sneered back.

"But it's fun."

"Yeah! With you." I made sure she didn't hear me.

She shut herself behind the toilet door and I started to drive, she came back and sat by my side and I gave her my iPod. After that we slept into a soft silent where my hands were on steering wheel but eyes moved to her every next second.

Her hair was dry then and it was obvious that if hard air blew. It would turn into a nest so, I pulled the windows up. It was sun on its one and our stomach wanted to refill itself,"there's a burger place near, would it do for lunch?"

She nodded.

"What do you want?" I asked when I was almost near the door.

"I won't mind anything," she mumbled.

She was getting back into her old form and that irritated me.

"Okay, I'll get you some snail dish," I sneered in irritation.

She gave me disgustful eyes and soon realised that why I was pisses off."A chicken cheese burger with some chilly sauce or any spicy thing would work."

"Now it's awesome."

I walked away and wore a beanie then sunglasses and the hoodie of my sweatshirt helped me the most to make me least recognizable.I wanted to take the keys with me but bubbles of trust popped against my heart. She was watching my actions like a computer processing the answers but the software was rigid to allow it.

--

Inside there wasn't much people since last. I remember Liam told me that people fill this place at nights. I ordered my food and waited. It was taking longer than usual though I trusted her and left the key there in the bus but doubt fell on me every next minutes making me glace through the window. The worker gave me packet and when I walked out, the bus was still there. Inside, I danced in satisfaction that my trust was firming its roots .

"I bought burgers, chips, nuggets and I though milkshakes will do goals."

I excepted a grin and shouts in happiness but she just smiled and sat on the couch. I could sense something was up with her. She didn't even looked up at me, her face emotionlessly looked at the food and she didn't even started until I told her to. Her hands trembled a bit, every time she reached for chips. I desperately wanted ask the reasons but that time I lost my voice.

We finished everything and she dumped the rubbish in bin. Turning around to me she asked,

"Why did you leave the keys in here?"Her voice was hoarse.

"I forgot," I lied but I knew that she knew it too.

Instead more questions she nodded and sat beside me. She was silent as statue and I was a clock which clicked on the same hand but didn't walk on.

I couldn't stand the heavy silence between us though I wanted to rise up her mood but still I went to drive further.I had more plans for us and my irritated mood was thwarting them. My hands didn't rest on steering wheel peacefully. Same with my mind which was filled with questions.

I saw the clear sky that powdered it with small while clouds. We were driving on highway and that road was least passed by any vehicles. I knew what would rise her mood and mine too. I stopped the bus and told her to step out. She looked scared. Very scared.

We were finally out and wind drew beautifully, the warmth of the sun and soft soothing air eased my mood but not her. She kept herself ten steps away from me, fiddled her fingers and all that time she just looking down.

What happen out of a sudden?

"If you would had been an extrovert, all you would wish for a sunny day with bit clouds and soft wind," I said walking close to her and that time she looked at me in amazement.

"Look it's the same weather," I said.

She smiled ear to ear and I told her to follow me. She stood behind the bus and I took a bicycle out.

"A bicycle, good music and a person to talk," I said and landed the bicycle on the road and then the second. I placed my iPod on her right palm, receiving electric current in my stomach.

She grinned and I whispered,"Is this, what you wished for?"

She nodded and thanked me though no voice escaped her mouth but lips spoke words.

"I don't even know when I last cycled," she said and put her leg on the peddle.

"Neither do I." I performed the same actions.

Afresh we couldn't stand the handle properly and the front wheel danced left to right but minutes later everything was balanced.

"I got my first cycle when I was six. It was yellow and purple the same colour of my favorite dragon cartoon character," She spoke and passed me.

"I got it when I was seven, it had all the shades of wonder women costume and everyone knew why I demanded."

"You had a crush on her. " she concluded and with that we cracked laughter's.

"Who was your first crush?" She asked.

"My first crush was when I was in first grade . She use to sit on the last chair. Who never paid attention in the class and teachers used to scold her all the time but she was so aggressive that whenever teacher came near her, she used to bit them. I had zero guts so. I never talked to her that year. In second grade, I finally asked her to play with me and from that day we used to play in sand every recess in primary school but our elementary schools were different," I told her every bit of the story."What about you?"

"My first crush was in kindergarten."

"What? Your first crush was when you were in KG!" I was astonished.

We laughed too hard that she was almost going to fall but she balanced herself.

"I had a habit of chewing pen and one day I sucked the ink. There was an Indian guy 'Jaspal' who used to sit by my side. He was the first person to notice and despite the teacher he helped me up. He brought me water and whipped the stain from my dress as much as he could. My mouth wasted weird and he gave me his tiffin box. It had Choco chip biscuits and since that day I liked him. We were friends till third grade then I changed my school."

After that we talked about other childish things that how our thinking was back then. How we used to think superman was real and the names actors had on movies were their true names.

On our way back we talked about my playlist. She actually liked it.

"I am knackered," she said propped on couch.

"Same here."

The sun was reaching five and I was hungry too, so she was. Then she made simple veg-mayo sandwiches.
There was a man I knew from years, he was my grandfather's friend. He had a garage near by so I drove there.

Hopping off the bus she looked amazed,"This is actually a mechanical garage."

"Yeah! Car's hospital." I gave it a name and she chuckled coming closer to mWeWe entered the garage, her eyes were wandering in amazement. She traced every car by her fingers on our way to my friend.

"Hello, Louis."

We greeted him too.

By then a wrench was in her hand. A small amount of grease was creamed on her fingers. I couldn't believe, how she could still be calm when that gross thing was on her fingers? I could never stand that!

Jamie asked about my family and other things about the gang. He was a friend of my grandfather, they used to run the gang together but when he died and Jamie  left the gang.

"Boss, we couldn't fix the Tiago." A worker came in, disturbing our old memories talk.

"Can I see it?" Sparrow asked.

She looked really happy.

"Yeah! She can do this. She fixed my car too." I joined in.

She walked to the car and Jamie flowed her furiously. By the time she was fixing things, Jamie and some workers stared at her with scrunched brows and fingers on chin. I was proud when she finally straighten her back in confidence and ask someone to start the car.

Jamie himself sat on the driver seat and entered the keys. The moment the engine started and Jamie drove it away, I had much wider grin than Light. I was so proud that she did something that no other worker could.

Jamie came back in minutes with a smile plastered in his face,"Ahh! Girl you did it. It's perfect now," he said while stepping out.

"Thanks," she said and placed the towel on the table from which she cleaned her hands.

"Would you work for me?" He asked but I knew he was being playful.

"She is a captive," I whispered in a stern tone.

"I thought she was your-". I gave him eyes because I didn't want him to complete the sentence.

--

We were drinking tea,it was dark outside and suddenly a child came in with one of a worker whom I didn't know.

"Jamie, there are fireflies in a field. It's just fifteen minutes away from here," he joyfully said.

"Want to go there?" I whispered to her.

She nodded and a small true smile spread on her lip. We bid our farewell to Jamie and when we were walking back he nudged me and mouthed me to ask her out. I wanted to do it but I knew my confession shouldn't be confessed.

We reached there and the moment I stopped the bus, she almost jumped and ran into the field. Fireflies were dancing near her and her eyes too. She looked so beautiful and happy. She moved her fingers towards them and they moved away. No one allowed her to touch them. We both stood there admiring the delightful moment.

Moments later,I took my phone out and played
'Hey! there Delilah.'

I asked her to dance but she shook her head,"I've never danced before."

"Neither do I," I confirmed."

"It will be fun."

We held each other's hands and butterflies erupted. No, the fireflies erupted in my stomach. I wanted to feel it her way. We both awkwardly moved together but sometimes we cracked our moves but it was peaceful with beauty and sent satisfaction to me.

Thanks to God the next song was as beautiful as last one 'I'm yours'.

"Are fireflies dancing in your stomach?" I asked.

"What about you?" She questioned my question.

"They are dancing like it's a club." I confessed

That time I didn't want to lie. I didn't even care she was my hostage and I was dancing with her in fact, I spent my whole day with her.

A phone call disturbed our delighted moment where we were dancing the worst.

It was Liam."Where are you?" He shouted like if it wasn't a phone, he would jump on me.

"I am near Jamie's garage."

"First you show affection to Light. The hostage. And now you have left her in the basement from morning," he shouted again.

"She's with me." I easily said.

"What the crap! You took her with you. What if she runs away. You could have told us that you were going somewhere with her," he blurted out.

"Stop it. You are ruining it. Cut the call."

I hung up and asked Sparrow if she wanted to come back into the bus and since it was getting cold inside, she agreed.

We got in and I turned the heater on. I went into the bathroom. Few minutes later when I came back and saw her holding my phone and seeing me watching her, she hurriedly placed it back.

"I trusted you."

"I didn't------" she tried to lie but I didn't want any excuses.

I planned that day just for her, I was getting closer to her. Liam was right. Captives can never be trusted. He told me that captives gains trust and then escapes, she tried that too.

I couldn't control my anger and when she kept lying that she didn't call anyone. That made my blood boil on its last consistence.

I slapped her the hardest I could. I just wanted to hit her so bad that she won't be able to move a single inch of her body.

I kicked her stomach until I was tried. She curled herself so I pulled her arms from her face, made her stand and then threw the against the edge of the table. She was apologizing but it wasn't equal to my pain.

She broke my trust, she hurt me the most.

MORE THAN JAX.
