Flamepaw and the others padded into camp with the prey they hunted and the apprentices took the prey to the queens, elders, and medicine cats.

They then went to the apprentices' den, curling up in their nests and trying to fall asleep, but Flamepaw couldn't. She sighed and got to her paws.

"Flamepaw?" Jaypaw looked up at her. "You okay?"

"I can't sleep" she replied.

"Wanna go on a moon-high walk?" He asked standing and stretching.

"Sure" The she-cat meowed and shook her pelt guiding Jaypaw who didn't protest.

"Wanna go to the lake?" He whispered.

"Alright" She mewed and slipped out of camp, Jaypaw following. They padded to the lake dodging trees, bushes, thorns, and branches.

"Woah" she gasped. The lake was amazing! The shining moon and stars of Silverpelt were reflecting off the lake.

"Is it pretty?" Jaypaw asked.

"It's amazing!" She meowed sitting down next to Jaypaw.

Jaypaw sat down as well but he was disappointed that he couldn't see it.

Soon they went back to camp sneaking in and laying in their nests and falling asleep.

Flamepaw awoke to Jaypaw poking her. "Come on! Firestar called a meeting!" She got up, stretched, and shook her fur. She padded out beside Jaypaw.

"As Birchfall was saying, yes a warrior did cross our border. But we are not going to fight them. They didn't smell the markers because they were stale, and I agree, they were stale"

Many outraged yowled were heard. "That's unfair!" , "They deserve a taste of their own medicine!" and "We have to fight them!"

"Quiet!" Firestar yowled. "We are not going to fight them and that's that!" His Clan looked at him then nodded. "Dismissed!" He
hissed.

"Well then," Flamepaw yawned.

"Flamepaw!" Lionpaw mewed padding over. "Did you guys fight?"

"Does it look like we fought?" She snapped grumpily.

Lionpaw flinched. "No..." he mewed.

"Sorry I'm just tired" she mewed looking at him. She yawned and sat down.

"Flamepaw!"

She groaned and looked over. It was Cloudtail. The White Warrior leaped over to her. "Yes?" She asked

"Come here," she got up and followed him.

Am I in trouble? She thought shaking slightly.

"I know you have powers" he growled. "And that's why I don't like you"

"Flamepaw? Are you okay?" She was pulled out of her daze when Jaypaw spoke. Her ears went hot.

"Yeah I am why?" She meowed

"Your fear scent is intoxicating!" He jokingly mewed.

"I'm fine" she meowed her ears relaxing I can't fall for kin! Well.... Dustpelt did... No!
