Flamestar grunted as he fell into a deep sleep. Flashes of light entered his vision. Struggling to open his eyes, he saw a huge shape looming on top of him. 

"Flamestar,  what a weak leader!" A sneering voice sounded. "I should call you Weakstar? Or Deadstar?" 

Flamestar felt his flanks burn. He wasn't going to let this strange cat kill him. He straightened up and swiped at the cat. 

The cat snarled with anger and spat, "Well, you don't know who I am, right? I am Mapleshade, and I will make you say sorry to Otterpaw!"

Flamestar glared at the cat. "Never. As a leader of this clan, I shall not do bad decisions. Otterpaw is training with you, and you are treating all of the cats in the Dark Forest very badly. So get out of my dream, you idiot."

Flamestar batted a paw at the cat and the cat got thrown to the side. "Hey!" Mapleshade yelled, and she pounced on top of Flamestar and started batting fiercely at his belly. 

"Stop." A fierce mew sounded. Mapleshade stopped batting and turned to see who the newcomer was.

It was Otterpaw. 

"Otterpaw, eh? Come here and help me take down this stupid lazy cat. Did he hiss at you, remember? This is the time to get your revenge!" Mapleshade crowed. 

Otterpaw shook out his long slick fur. "Never. Mapleshade, Nightshadow, and Flamestar reached me how I was acting wrong, and how I could prevent it. Mapleshade, stop attacking Flamestar, and cut out of it." 

"Why, you little cat-" Mapleshade yowled, only to be stopped by Otterpaw's dashing attack. She whirled around and tried to grab Otterpaw, but Otterpaw's slick fur prevented her from doing so. "Get back here!" Mapleshade yelled as Otterpaw ran from side to side, dodging her attacks swiftly. 

Suddenly Mapleshade stopped and snarled at Otterpaw, "Otterpaw. Tell me, who told you that you were acting wrong?" 

Otterpaw muttered, "Nightshadow." 

Flamestar gasped, but before he could say a word Mapleshade dipped her head, and whispered, "I'll be back." She then disappeared in a puff of smoke. 

Flamestar looked at Otterpaw with big round eyes.

"What?" Otterpaw shifted his paws.

"You- You told her the wrong thing. Now she's going to... k-kidnap Nightshadow."
