The eliminated masters were working hard in the factory, while Cole whistled happily. "Why you whistling? Yesterday Cole was sad. Not today. What changed?" Karlof asked in confusion. "Things are looking up, Karlof. We came here to find a friend, and I found him. All I gotta do now is get Zane and bust him out." Cole answered and Karlof sighed. "Not so easy. Chen's made it nearly impossible to escape this place." But Cole continued to smile.

"I'm still working out the details, but Zane's a nindroid, a walking computer. If I can get to him, he'll solve anything Chen throws at us in no time." He said and Karlof gave him a small smile. "Karlof wished he had friend like that." Soon Cole put a note in a fortune cookie. "But first order of business, I gotta let the others know I'm busting him out." Karlof looked at him confused. "You put message in cookie?" He asked and Cole nodded. "I know, right? That's why it's called a fortune cookie." Karlof nodded.

"Well, if you get out, don't forget about Karlof." Cole smiled at him. "Yeah, sure. Of course." Soon he turned to a cultist. "Special order for the banquet's ready." The cultist nodded and grabbed the plate. "Karlof hope you have the good fortune for it to end up in the right hands." Karlof told him and Cole nodded. "You and me both, Karlof. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get out of here." Zugu saw the cookies and tries grabbing one, but the cultist stopped him before heading upstairs. Cole sighed in relief before seeing his keys, knowing they were exactly what he needed.

Nya meanwhile had parked the base by a waterfall and put on camouflage mode. She watched as kabuki servents walked inside the palace. "Okay, I'm going inside." Dareth stopped her. "Wait a minute. Have I ever told you that I am master of disguise?" He asked before opening a makeup kit. "Is that makeup?" Nya asked and he shook his head. "No, no, this is the master of disguise kit. Now, get ready to go undercover." He soon started to put makeup on Nya.

She coughed before he finished. "Presenting Miss Kabuki. Yeah!" Dareth announced and Nya looked at herself. "What? How did you manage to change my clothes?" She asked. "A true ninja never reveals his secrets. You should know that, Nya. Hmm." Dareth smirked. "Looking great, aunt Nya. Now let's go." Pyther said before Nya stopped him. "Oh no you don't, young man. You stay here with Dareth. You're still in trouble for sneaking after me." She soon left and Pyther pouted.

In the palace was the kabuki serving the fighters. Handing them food and drinks. "Try the horned wasp eggs. Delicious!" Chen said as a kabuki held a plate with yellow and black striped eggs infront of Lloyd. "Uh, I think I'll pass." He turned down the eggs, making Chen laugh a little. "Oh, lighten up, green ninja. This isn't a trick. This is a feast to celebrate the eight of you making it to the second round." The kabuki laughed, though it sounded forced.

"And I must congratulate the master of shadow's defeat over master of poison. She was a bit hard to swallow, am I right?" Chen said, making the kabuki laugh again. "Laugh harder! Hahahaha!" He ordered and the kabuki laughed harder. Selena glared at him with hatred, before getting a glare from Clouse. She looked away, remembering what happened last night. "You can relax, Green bean. Even if there was a fight, now that we told the others about Chen's dirty plot to steal our Powers, we're safe in our secret alliance." Kaya said and Griffin nodded.

"I tried to enlist shadow, but that dude's throwing some serious shade." He pointed towards Shade who glared at him. "Well, if you plan to stop Chen, you'll need everyone on board. Each fighter that loses gives him strength. Soon he'll be too powerful for even all of you combined to overcome." Garmadon informed before a kabuki walked in with the fortune cookies. "Ooh, fortune cookies! Bring them to me!" Chen clapped his hands and Clouse looked at him. "But they are for your captured-I mean, honored guests." He said and Selena felt more hate grow.

Chen grabbed one of the cookies. "I'm not gonna eat them, Clousey Clouse. Just read the fortunes. They're my favorite part." He said before Clouse took it from him. "Might I warn you, our guests are fond of whispering, and I don't think it's about your food. I've heard word they have allied themselves. The ninja have told them about our secret ceremony." Clouse whispered and Chen's eyes widened. "Do they know about the spell?" He asked and Clouse shook his head. "Not yet, but we must get ahead of this." He put back the cookie, letting the kabuki bring them to the masters.

Chen soon stood up. "It has come to my attention that there are rumors floating about that I am stealing everyone's power. I am." He said and they all gasped. "But it's all for this staff." Soon everyone's eyes widened when his staff got brought out. "The staff of elements. It holds the power of your fallen foes, and soon it'll hold all but one. For the last standing in my tournament will win this prize and be the greatest fighter ever in the history in Ninjago!" Chen exclaimed and the masters started to whisper.

"You lied. What about the spell?" Lloyd said and Chen smirked. "Spell? What spell?" Clouse said before Lloyd turned to the other masters. "Don't believe him, it's just another trick. Neuro read Clouse's mind and saw it. Tell them what you saw, Neuro." Neuro got a glare from Clouse before shaking his head. "I-I don't remember. Truthfully, I'm a bit more interested in knowing more about that staff." Griffin nodded. "And why should we be so quick to believe everything you say? How do we know you're not lying to get the staff for yourself?" He said.

Skylor got Cole's note and gasped when she read it. Clouse and Chen smirked at the masters fighting eachother. "It worked. Their alliance is crumbling." Clouse said and Selena walked off, felling how she had enough if this. "So much for the alliance." Garmadon sighed and Lloyd nodded. "They believe him over us?" One of the kabuki started to fan very close to Jay. "If we're gonna convince anyone, argh, we need proof. Ugh. We need too, oh, find that spell. Would you cut it out!?" Jay said before the kabuki revealed herself to be Nya.

"Jay, it's me." Their eyes widened in surprise. "Nya?" Nya quickly shushed them. "Lower your voices. I'm undercover. And to be completely honest, a bit out of my element. And I heard what happened to Cole. That was big of you both." She said and put a hand on Jay's shoulder. "We're best friends to the end." He answered. "Is it just you, sis?" Kaya asked and Nya nodded. "Dareth's also on the island. And one extra." She turned on her communicator. "What up, ninja?" Dareth said through it. "Hey mom." Pyther was soon heard.

Kaya's eyes widened. "Pyther? Why is he here?" Nya sighed. "He snuck his way into the mission. Anyway, we're also in contact with Wu via the mobile base." She answered. Kaya nodded. "If you're undercover, that means you can get close to Clouse's spellbook. All we know is that it's on page 149. I think he might have it in his quarters. And Pyther. You're in big trouble young man." Pyther was heard whining. "Oh man." Nya soon cut the communication.

"I'll look into it. And it sounds like you have your work cut out for you too." The others looked at her confused. "How so?" Jay asked. "How do you think they found out about your little alliance? Someone in your circle of trust is a spy." Nya answered before walking off, leaving they all shocked. Skylor walked up to Kaya. "Do you know that servant girl?" She asked. "Uh. Just talking a little. Something you wanted?" Kaya answered before getting Cole's note. "My fortune tells me Cole and your friend Zane will be breaking out. You're lucky this didn't end up in the wrong hands." Skylor said before Kaya read it and smiled.

"He found Zane, I can't believe it. Thanks, Skylor. It's good to know there are some people here we can trust." She said and Skylor smiled before getting back to her seat, having a small hint of guilt? "A spy? Who do you think it is?" Jay asked and Lloyd looked at Shade. "I have my suspicions." He said.

At the cave was Dareth passing time by playing air guitar, while Pyther was so bored. "Dareth. Dareth, are you there?" Nya said through the communicator, and Dareth turned off the music. "Loud and proud, Nya. Talk to me." He said. "Tell Sensei our objectives are set. I'm gonna find the spell and get proof Chen's up to no good while the ninja sniff out the spy in their alliance." Dareth nodded. "Aye, aye, Samurai X. Brown ninja out." He soon contacted Wu. "Breaker, breaker. Come in, Wu. The falcon has landed." Pyther looked between the door and Dareth. A smirk appeared on his face before he turned invisible and snuck out of the base, not even being noticed by Dareth who probably forgot about him.

In the factory was Cole watching Zugu being distracted, smirking. "It's time." He said and Karlof looked at him in confusion. "But shift not over for hours." Cole just shook his head. "It is for me. Hehe. I've been waiting to do this for a long time." Soon he jumped onto the machine and started eating the noodles, making the others cheer. "Get him!" Zugu commanded and the guards ran towards him. Cole fought them with the food and laughed. "Let there be food! Ha! All you can eat. Eat it, guards! Whoo-hoo!" He exclaimed before swinging with the noodles. "Go, Cole, go!" Karlof cheered on before the noodles broke, making Cole fall into Zugu's arms. "Got you." He growled before Cole burped in his face. "Now I feel better. You got any cake?" Cole asked before getting thrown into his cell, but he just smirked.

"It was all worth it! For these." He held up the keys and started to unlock the cell. Zane meanwhile was dreaming again. He broke free from chains and tried to climb up. But that's when the dragon woke up and roared at him, making him fall in fear. "Zane!" Cole shouted, waking Zane up before freeing him. "Cole? You've returned." Zane smiled at him. "Ofcourse I did. I made a promise. Now come here, you shiny new tin can." Cole hugged him and Zane hugged back before pulling away. "Now, let's go. The longer we stand here, the shorter time we have to escape." They started to run and Cole laughed. "Ha! You and Kaya were always the smart ones. Let's go." That's when the alarm was set off.

Nya reached Clouse's room and went through his spell book. "Page 102, 122, aha. Page 148. Huh?" She noticed that page 149 was ripped out. "It's gone. Where is it?" That's when footsteps was heard and she quickly got out of the room. Zugu was talking to Clouse. "There's been a breach in the factory. Master Cole has gone missing." Clouse sighed. "Release my pet. She'll make sure he doesn't escape." He soon went to his book and saw kabuki makeup on it, aswell that a page was missing.

Cole and Zane was still trying to escape. "Not that way. That will only take us back to where we started." Zane pointed and Cole sighed. "Unh. Maybe you should be leading." Suddenly they heard a growl. "I am not familiar with that sound." Zane informed as Cole's eyes widened. "I am. We need to move!" He started to run. "I thought I was leading." Zane said in confusion. "Trust me, you'll wanna keep up." Cole exclaimed before Zane saw the giant serpent. The two continued to run before reaching a dead end

"This isn't a wall. It's the body of a large serpent." Zane pointed out and Cole grunted. "Come on, we have to find another way. Argh. Another dead end." He complained and Zane studied the snake. "The serpent's strategy appears to be to surround us and coil inward. Very clever." Cole looked at him. "Yeah, well, my strategy is not to be eaten." The snake soon cornered them. "It was nice knowing you, Zane. I think this really is our dead end. I don't suppose you can freeze him?" Cole asked.

Zane shook his head. "Chen took my powers like everyone else. Pixal, calculate escape scenarios." He said, making Cole's eyes widened. "Pixal? You got your boyfriend stuck in your head?" Pixal calculated the problem. "Calculating escape routes. Activating explosive shurikens." He said before Zane used to shurikens on the ground, blowing up a hole for them to fall into. The snake growled over not being able to get through it. "Heh. I'm gonna like the new you." Cole laughed. "We must move quickly." Zane informed and Cole nodded in agreement. "Lead the way." They continued running.

In Kaya's room had everyone gathered. "Like I said, I ain't joining your little alliance. I'm gunning for that staff." Shade said with his arms crossed. "Hey, this isn't about an alliance. This is about finding out who is the spy. No one leaves this room until we find out who is passing information to Chen" Lloyd informed them all before looking at Shade. "Why are you looking at me, Greenie? I'm not your spy." Neuro stepped forward. "Perhaps I can help." He said and used his powers. "I don't know who, but someone here isn't who they say they are." Skylor looked at him. "How do we know we can trust you? You're the one who lied about not knowing about this spell." Neuro glared at her. "I do what I must, power hoarder." He hissed before Kaya stepped between them.

"This is what Chen wants, for us to fight. But we don't have to. There has to be a more civilized way around this." Garmadon thought a little before stepping up. "There is. Everyone who's ever worked for Chen has the anacondrai tattoo on their back. Find the tattoo, find the spy." Lloyd looked at everyone. "Anyone object?" Skylor stepped up. "I'll go first. I don't want you to think I would betray you." She showed her back, no tattoo anywhere. Neuro shower his back aswell, still no tattoo. "Can I go now?" He asked annoyed. "Not until we check everyone. Who's next?" Lloyd said before Griffin showed his back.

In another room was Clouse showing the spellbook too Chen. "You're harshing my vibe. You better tell me they've caught the escaped prisoner." Chen said while Nya watched them. "Sadly, master, not yet. But I have far worse news to report. Someone has stolen the spell." Clouse said and showed the missing page. "Do you need the page to do the spell?" Chen asked and Clouse shook his head. "Of course not. But if it gets into the hands of the ninja, the fighters will know we've lied, then they'll rise up against us." Chen nodded. "Then we must find that page! Argh! Kabuki paint, uh, it gets everywhere." He said as he wiped off the paint.

Nya suddenly got pulled in by a kabuki, having no choice than to join them. "Hmm." Clouse said and looked at the paint on the book. "Master, I have a feeling a spy may well be in our midst." Chen's eyes widened. "A Kabuki servant? Well, well." Clouse looked at the kabuki. "The spy may have the page still on them. Guards! Search every servant in this room." The guards started to search the kabuki servents, making Nya a little nervous.

Meanwhile in the base was Dareth singing. "They call me Dareth the Man with the big, bad guitar sound. Oh, I said spin. Spin like a record, come on. Yeah, spin, Dareth, spin. Spin like a record, come on." He accidentally turned on the speakers, broadcasting his music all over the island. "What is that racket?" Chen asked and Clouse's eyes narrowed. "It's coming from the island." He informed. "It's coming from the spy. Find the signal, find the spy." Chen exclaimed as Clouse turned towards the cultists. "You heard him. Search the island." They ran off and Nya tried to run off, before Chen stopped her. "As for you, stay put." Nya sighed. "Dareth, what have you done now? Pyther is in danger now." She cursed under her breath while blending into the kabuki entertainment.

In Kaya's room was it only Shade left to show his back. "Well, only one left." Lloyd said before they all looked around. "Wait. Where'd Shadow go?" Kaya asked before Jay groaned. "He disappeared through his own shadow." Shade appeared from his shadow. "There he is. Get him!" Griffin exclaimed. "I ain't your spy, and I ain't your friend either. That staff will be mine." Shade hissed before Lloyd tried to hit him with his powers. But Shade disappeared, making the bookshelf fall onto Jay. "Aah! My leg! Ugh. Get the books of me" Jay exclaimed before Skylor used gravity to lift the self off him.

Garmadon tried to stop Shade. "You cast a long shadow, old man." Shade smirked before disappearing. "It was Shadow. He must be the spy." Neuro said and Griffin nodded. "That jerk. Don't worry. We'll stay in the alliance." He said before they left. Skylor helped bandaging Jay's leg. "Ow! Oh." He whined. "Skylor, I just want you to know. I never thought you were the spy. You've been on our side all along. You really are a best friend." Kaya said Skylor smiled. "Thank you. And don't worry. I won't leave you." She said and headed back to her room. "Atleast we still have the alliance. Even if its a little shaky." Jay said and the others nodded in agreement.

Chen meanwhile rested while Nya and the kabuki took care of him. "Kabuki are always pleased to serve me. Isn't that right, Kabuki?" He said and the kabuki forced a laugh. Clouse walked up to him. "Our spy tells me the master of lightning is hurt." This made Nya gasp, making her accidentally hit Chen with the lead fan. "Ow! Too hard!" Chen complained. "The ninja are weakening, master." Clouse informed and Chen looked at him. "What about their spy? Have you found where the signals are coming from?" He asked.

"We haven't found anything on the island yet, but we will." Clouse smirked. Meanwhile two cultists named Chope and Kapau was distracted by Dareth's music. Eyezor walked up to them. "What are you doing?" He asked. "I was, uh-I was headbanging." Kapau said nervously. "Taking a break." Chope added. "Have you checked out the waterfall?" Eyezor asked with a hiss. "Uh, yeah, it's beautiful." Kapau said and Chope nodded in agreement. "So serene." This made Eyezor growl. "I meant for spies, you idiots!" He chased them towards the waterfall.

Dareth was still singing. "Whoo! Yeah! The brown ninja." He ended the song before Nya contacted him. "Dareth! Pyther! Do you read me? They're coming. You hear me? They're coming for you!" She exclaimed and Dareth saw the cultists. "Savages. Uh, where is that cloak button?" He pressed different buttons, but that just caused the base to change into different things, making the cultists laugh. "Now let's test what's under the hood." Dareth said before driving off, but the cultists followed him. Soon he started loose control. "Somebody get me out of here!" Suddenly he pressed a button and a little robot appeared.

"Autopilot initiated." It said and started to drive. "Ha! About time you showed up, little dude." Dareth said before shooting towards the cultists. "All right, boneheads, I got a bone to pick with-Oh! Ooh, aah!" He shoot the cliff, knocking out the cultists. "Score one for the brown ninja." He laughed before the autopilot stopped working, making him leaning over the cliff edge. "I've been taken hostage by the savages! You're on your own. Go on without me!" Dareth said through the communicator. Chen heard his voice and grabbed Nya's arm. "So you're the spy! Ha! Now give me the spell!" Nya kicked him.

"I don't have your spell. Oh, and by the way, your feet stink!" She exclaimed before running off. "Get her!" Chen hissed. In the tunnels was Kapau and Chope patrolling, not knowing Cole and Zane heard them. "They've ordered everyone after some kabuki girl." Chope said and Kapau looked at him. "What about the escaped factory worker?" He asked. "Forget him. Chen will make sure the other workers pay for his actions. Poor saps." Chope answered, making Cole's eyes widen. "Poor saps?" Zane pointed in another direction. "Hurry, the exit is just around the bend." Cole shook his head. "You go. I can't. A ninja doesn't save himself. He protects those who can't protect themselves. I have to go back. I have to go back and save them all." He said and Zane smiled. "And a ninja never leaves another ninja's side." The two smiled at eachother. "We'll get off this island one day, Zane. But it's either all of us or none of us." Cole said.

They soon heard someone coming their way. "Who's there?" Zane asked before Pyther appeared. "Dad, you're okay." He said and hugged Cole. "Another anacondrai?" Zane asked. "Me and Kaya adopted him." Cole answered before turning to Pyther with a serious expression. "What are you doing here, young man?" Pyther nervously laughed. "I snuck onto aunt Nya's base. And then snuck away to try to find you." Cole sighed before glaring at him. "Well. You're in so much trouble young man." He said and Pyther sighed.

Nya kept running before Clouse appeared infront of her. "No escape now, spy." He grinned as Nya got surrounded. "Katronuk paracore!" A voice said and a purple aura surrounded Clouse and the cultists, freezing them in place. Nya got confused before Selena stepped forward. "Who are you?" She asked. "Someone going again and his master." Selena answered before grabbing Nya's hand and running off. Clouse got free from the spell and glared after them. "That girl will regret going against me." He hissed.

Selena and Nya arrived in the jungle and hid behind a rock. "I guess you're here to help the ninja." Selena said and Nya nodded. "Yeah. But I couldn't find the spell. The page was gone." She sighed before Selena held up the page. "Here it is. I took it myself." Nya smiled before reading the page, her eyes widening. "This change everything." She said and Selena nodded.

One of the cultists walked up to Chen later that night. "My spy, have they found the girl?" He asked the the cultist shook his head. "No, but you may have bigger problems to deal with." That's when he changed to Skylor. "Cole's got the metal man, father." She informed and Chen grinned. "Thank you, my child. The master of form's power has proved to be useful to you. The ninja's time here is done. Tomorrow, we will end this charade. Tomorrow, we will break up the ninja forever!" Both of them laughed before Skylor returned to her room. As she arrived, sighing with a guilty expression on her face.
