One wish and a prayer

The remaining ninja gathered in Cliff Gordon's house, ofcourse Jay and Nya told the others everything about how Jay got it. "I gotta say. For being given to you by an evil djinn who wants to take over Ninjago, this place isn't that bad." Cole said and Lloyd sighed. "First we lost Wu and Pyther, Selena then my mom. Now Kaya. Nadakhan really is dangerous." Zane nodded. "He seems to look for openings before splitting us up." He pointed out before Nya held up the lantern. "Then we stick together from here on out. We need to take a look at that lantern. Jay, hit the lights." Jay nodded and went to turn off the house, but had problem finding the right button. "Ugh. Why does rich people houses have so many buttons?" Soon he found the right button and coverd the windows.

The lantern lit up and showed the map. "Wow. So this is supposed to point the way to the only thing that can stop Nadakhan?" Nya asked. "Not stop, slow. Remember, a drop on you of venom from a Tiger Widow can kill a normal person, but slow a djinn down before he can disappear on us. If we need to trap him, we'll need this venom so let's figure out a plan." Lloyd answered. Cole soon noticed Jay looking guilty and worried. "Are you okay?" Jay sighed. "What if me using my two first wishes caused problems for us. Maybe if I didn't let myself get tricked, Kaya would still be here." He said and Cole put a hand on his shoulder.

"Non of this is your fault. He would have went after us anyway. So don't you blame yourself." Jay smiled and hugged him, Cole hugging back. "So the Tiger Widow is on that island?" Nya pointed at the island being showed on the map. "An island that doesn't exist according to my database." Zane informed before the ground started to rumble, making the ninja fall to the ground. "Oh, it was just another quake." Jay grunted as they stood up, just as the news turned on. "Another piece to the puzzle, gone. Ninjago is stumped yet again as another chunk goes missing, this time from none other than Ninjago City." The reporter announced and ninja's eyes widened. "Sensei said he was worried Ninjago would fall apart without him. We need to get to that island now." Lloyd said.

Zane summoned his falcon. "Go my friend, see if you can find out what Nadakhan is up to." The falcon squawked before flying off. Misfortune's keep flew through the air, Nadakhan watching the crew with a satisfied smile. "You have prepared our crew well. Hmm. They are much improved." He told Flintlocke who nodded, but was thinking about something. "And look at me, cap'n. I'm no longer airsick. Oops. Spoke too soon." Clancee said before running off to throw up. Flintlocke sighed and turned to Nadakhan. "I've been biting my tongue, Captain. But when we attacked the city, I saw the other girl ninja. She looked like Delara." He informed and Nadakhan smiled. "Really? I hadn't noticed." But Flintlocke looked at him in annoyence.

"I believed that, when I believe a pirate born to tell the truth. You should've told me. First you don't tell me your plan, now you keep this. We've sacrificed a lot to follow you, but trust is a wind that blows both ways." This made Nadakhan chuckle. "Which is why I am showing you this." He pointed towards the different parts of Ninjago that was now in the sky, forming a new Djinjago. "Oh! Look at that. We got their ship!" Clancee pointed at the Bounty and Nadakhan grinned. "That we do, Clancee. Heh. That we do. I know it doesn't look like much now, but this place will soon become Djinjago. With each ninja my sword consumes, the more power I'm beholden to resurrect my home world. This is what you sacrificed for. Not some girl. For a home. I cannot do this alone, Flintlocke. I need you. I need our crew. Together, we can make this place ours." He said and the crew started to cheer. "We have some world building to do, and I have some ninja to find." Nadakhan looked over the new Djinjago.

The ninja meanwhile had arrived at the docks. "I still don't understand why we don't take our dragons." Cole complained and Zane looked at him. "Judging from the map, we won't have enough energy to sustain the distance." Nya soon noticed Jay holding a book. "What's that?" She asked and Jay smirked. "Cliff Gordon's book on how to survive on a dessert island. Thought it could be helpful." He answered proudly and Nya shook her with with a small smile. They soon saw a drunk captain that was surrounded by seagulls. "We'd like to charter a ship." Lloyd addressed and the captain chuckled drunkenly. "Ahem. One eye may be glass, but me other eye sees clear as a bell, a wicked storm's a-brewing, and there ain't no ships to chart." He said, confusing the ninja.

"Uh, well, then, let's find another dock." Cole said and the captain scoffed. "Hmm. All the others will be saying the same. Unless you own one of these beauts, the only way you're sailing out is on a wish and a prayer." Jay suddenly noticed one of the boats. "A wish and prayer, you say, hmm. That wouldn't happen to be Cliff Gordon's boat now, would it?" The captain looked at it and nodded. "Why, yes. Yes, it is. Why do you ask?" The ninja smiled before they started to sail across the sea. "Ready about! Slacken a line! Now, now pay it out! That's well! Belay! Belay!" Lloyd commanded and Cole chuckled. "Full steam ahead! Let's use the wind while it's at our back." He said with a gleeful smile.

The sky pirates were busy building the new Djinjago, when Monkey Wretch saw the falcon and snatched it. Nadakhan flew over to him with a grin. "The robot's bird. Take it apart, until it talks." He ordered and Monkey Wretch nodded before he started to disassemble the falcon, making the bird squawk in fear.

Upon the sea, Lloyd handed everyone a canteen. "Here, you'll need this. There may be no fresh water on the island. This way, we won't be without." Zane looked at him with a confused expression. "I'm a nindroid. I don't need to stay hydrated, my filters attracted water from the air. I don't need a canteen." Lloyd rolled his eyes and walked away. Jay meanwhile was reading the book. "Chapter ten. Wild animals are more scared of you than you are of them, so make yourself big to seem more threatening." Nya climbed up to him. "So any good tips? Mister island surviver." She teased and Jay smirked. "Many. After all this djinn business we should take a vacation on a dessert island. Just you and me, alone drinking from coconuts." He answered.

"Oh, no!" Nya exclaimed, confusing Jay. "What? Did I say something wrong?" He asked. "No! Storm!" She pointed towards an incoming thunderstorm, making Jay's eyes widened. "AAAAHHHH!" He exclaimed and Lloyd looked at the others. "That's not just any storm, that's an electrical storm! Get ready, Jay, we're gonna need you." Jay looked at him nervously. "Need me?" Before he knew it, he was placed on top of the mast, taking several lightning bolts into his body. "This isn't what I had in mind!" Lloyd looked up at him. "You have to act as out lightning rod or else the storm will tear our ship apart!" A bolt of lightning traveled down and almost hit Zane.

"It's because we have a nindroid aboard." Cole pointed out and Lloyd nodded. "Zane, you have to go below deck!" Jay's eyes widened. "Are you crazy!? What if Nadakhan tries to capture him!" He exclaimed. "There's no way Nadakhan knows we're out here. Plus Zane can easily call us down." Nya answered and Zane nodded before heading below deck, when the door suddenly locked behind him and he saw a chess piece movie on it's own. "Huh?" He said before Nadakhan appeared. "Your move. What is it? Surprised to see me?" Nadakhan asked and Zane shook his head. "Not at all. Since my falcon haven't returned, I can guess you got our location from it." He answered and Nadakhan grinned.

"So you are the smart one. Then I take it you do not want to make a wish." Pixal appeared in Zane's vision. "Be careful, Zane. It is foolish to believe you can outsmart him." He said before Zane disconnected him. "Not now, Pixal! I do want my three wishes. But on my third wish, it will not be I who will disappear, but you." Nadakhan just grinned. On upper deck had the storm calmed down a little. "With Zane gone, the lightning's subsided!" Nya said before Lloyd's eyes widened. "But now there's that!" They all turned to see a hurricane.

Nadakhan looked at Zane. "Well, what are you waiting for? Make your first wish." Zane moved his piece. "For my first wish, I wish that you'll not twist my words, nor find a loophole, but understand the true intentions of the words that I speak, and carry out your will as I've thoroughly instructed." He said and Nadakhan looked at him with an impressed expression before moving one of his pieces. "Huh, actually a smart wish. Very well, I understand you perfectly and shall take you at your word. Your second wish?" Zane nodded. "It is imperative that from here on out, whatever harm may befall me, will be done unto you tenfold." He said and took one of Nadakhan's pieces. "I have not heard that one before. Very good." Nadakhan told him.

The others saw that they were heading towards big rocks. "Port side!" Jay exclaimed as Nya used her powers to try to move them to safety. "Now for my third wish-" Zane said before Nadakhan grinned. "But for clarification, you said whatever harm may befall you." He said, confusing Zane. "What do you mean?" Nadakhan grinned at him. "What if said harm were done to say, someone else?" Zane's eyes widened. "Now you are twisting my words. I-" He exclaimed before Nadakhan interupted him. "No, I am absolutely certain I heard you perfectly. No harm shall befall you." Pixal appeared. "I warned you not to do this, Zane. You must not make another wish!" He said and Nadakhan chuckled. "By that definition, I could simply delete bits of information from your hard drive. Like your digital boyfriend." With a snap of his fingers, Pixal got deleted, making Zane's eyes widen in fear.

"Pixal!" He exclaimed and Nadakhan grinned more. "There's no harm in that now, is there?" Zane started to panic. "My third wish. My-My third wish." Slowly, Nadakhan raised his sword. "Yes. Your all-important third wish. Make it count. But know no matter what happens to me, the sweet little voice inside your head will be all but gone. Erased. Checkmate." He said and won the game of chess. "I wish...I wish for it all to go away!" Zane exclaimed before getting trapped inside of Nadakhan's sword.

Nya continued to steer them to safety until they're were soon at land. "Brace yourself!" Lloyd exclaimed before they hit land, sending them flying onto the sand. "Ugh. Let's not do that again." Jay said before Lloyd went to get Zane, but found lower deck empty. "Zane's not here." He told the others who looked at eachother in worry. "Oh no. You don't think?" Nya said and Jay lowered his head. "Nadakhan got him. Argh, that fucking djinn!" He shouted and Lloyd looked at the others. "We may have lost Zane. But we can't give up. Let's get that venom." The others nodded before they headed into the jungle.

Meanwhile, the sky pirates brought all floating land masses together, making Nadakhan smile. "I see Djinjago is coming together." Flintlocke nodded. "We're acquiring so much land, I wish we had more hands. I can tell you're getting stronger, captain. Which one did you take?" He asked and Nadakhan grinned. "The titanium one. He put up a good fight for a ninja." The others laughed before Nadakhan shushed them. "But we mustn't become complacent. They are en route to Tiger Widow Island." Flintlocke's eyes widened a little. "Soto must have helped them. Do you want me to come with you to stop them?" Nadakhan shook his head. "No, you stay here. But I may need a lady's touch." He looked at Dogshank who nodded. "As you wish." She said with a grin.

The ninja crossed over a bridge that didn't look so steady. "The Tiger Widow's den should be just up ahead. Watch your step." Lloyd said and Cole nodded. "You don't have to tell me twice." Jay continued to look through the book. "Chapter twenty one. How to extract venom from venomous animals." Nya looked around. "Do we know anything about the Tiger Widow? Except for it's name." She asked. "Zane told me it's the last of its species. So it sounds like we've only got one chance at this." Cole answered. Suddenly as Jay continued to walk and read, he got stuck in a giant web. "Ah! I'm stuck!" He exclaimed before the others turned around and helped him out of it.

"That's no normal spiderweb." Nya said and Lloyd nodded. "I think we can guess what the Spider Widow is." Jay shuddered. "Why a spider? Couldn't it be a butterfly?" He said before they reached the nest. "There it is. The nest." Lloyd said. "So, who's gonna do it?" Cole asked and Jay sighed before standing up. "I'll do it. I need to be the brave one to do it. Try not to stop me, because it's what I need to do." He answered. "Okay, good luck." Cole said, making Jay's eyes widened a little. "No one is gonna try to stop me?" The others shook their head and Jay sighed before heading down to the nest. "Use your canteen to collect the venom!" Cole yelled and Jay nervously nodded before heading into the cave.

Jay's eyes scanned the area in fear, looking anything dangerous. "Ugh. Here, Tiger Widow. Hahaha. I've come to ask nicely for your venom. Haha. I like tigers. Are you a little tiger? Or just a big scaredy cat? Hahaha." Soon he felt something behind him and turned around, seeing a giant spider standing right infro of him, ready to attack. "Aah! It's so big! How do I get venom when his fangs only come out when he tries to bite me!?" Jay exclaimed as he dodged it's attacks. "Then let him bite you!" Cole shouted and Jay got a little mad. "If I get out of here, I'm gonna bite you!" Suddenly the others heard engines above them and looked up, seeing the sky pirates.

"Sky Pirates! Take cover!" Lloyd said as they dodged bombs that Dogshank dropped on them. Nya stood ready to fight, when Nadakhan appeared infront of her. "Finally, we're alone." He said before Nya attacked him, but missed. "Delara was filled with fire too. When this is all over, you will be mine." Nadakhan chuckled and Nya looked at him in disgust. "Not fire, four arms. Don't ever forget, I'm a tall glass of water." She shot water at Nadakhan, but he just teleported away. Jay meanwhile held the Tiger Widow back as he saw it secrete venom. "Ugh, disgusting! This is not okay!" He said and used the book to keep it's fangs stuck.

"I see the fangs!" Lloyd dodged attacks before looking towards the nest. "Then hurry up and get the venom!" He shouted. "Oh, sorry for the delay! I've never had to milk the fangs of a giant spider before!" Jay answered with a sarcastic tone before shocking the Tiger Widow. "Hahaha! You don't like that, do you?" Lloyd summoned his dragon and had an aerial battle with Flintlocke, Clancee and Monkey Wretch who were piloting one of the battle ships. Dogshank meanwhile jumped down and landed infront of Nya. "Cute haircut. But you could use a trim." She said and threw her anchor towards Nya who dodged it. "Why is it some girls never get along? Can't we break that stereotype?" Nya asked with a smirk before attacking back.

Suddenly she got stuck in a spiderweb. To her surprise, Dogshank freed her. "You're freeing me?" Nya asked in confusion. "We fight like warriors, not like cheaters. Let's see what else you've got." Dogshank said before they continued to fight. Nadakhan teleported around Cole as he tried to get in a hit. Then Cole threw a fake punch, tricking Nadakhan to teleport behind him, making him get in a hit. "I got him! Hahaha! I actually landed one on him." He gleefully laughed before they all saw Jay running out of the nest, the Tiger Widow chasing him. "I got the venom! I actually got it!" Nadakhan's eyes widened. "Get the venom!" He ordered and Dogshank looked at Nya.

"Until next time." Nya nodded with a smirk. "Next time, I won't play so nice." This made Dogshank chuckle. "Then it's a play date." She headed back to the ship as Nya meet up with the others. "Protect Jay!" Lloyd exclaimed before they saw Jay with the Tiger Widow behind him. "That's one big spider." Cole said before they arrived at the bridge, but the Tiger Widow were weighing it down, making it start to break. "The bridge isn't strong enough. Hold on!" Lloyd said and they all held on as the bridge broke, Jay ending up at the bottom. "Aah! Haven't I suffered enough?" He said before seeing the Tiger Widow climbing towards him. "Aah! Why did I need to jinx it!?" As he tried to keep the Tiger Widow away, Nadakhan appeared.

"You are certainly in a precarious position. Time is running out, but you have one wish left. You can wish it all-" Jay interupted him. "Blah, blah, blah. You think I'm thick enough to fall for that trick? No way! I'd rather be eaten by a spider than listen to your beguiling voice." Nadakhan scoffed. "Then have it your way." With that he made Jay let go of the bridge. "Jay!" The others shouted before Nadakhan grabbed him and took his canteen. "Now say goodbye to the only thing that can stop me." He said and poured out the content of it. "No! No, no, no! No." Jay exclaimed before Nadakhan grinned. "And say goodbye to your friend." Suddenly he teleported away with Jay, making the Tiger Widow fall.

The others climbed up onto the ground and saw Nadakhan in one of his jets with Jay gagged and tied up. "I'll be back for the rest of you. And since you can't get off the island, I'll know exactly where to find you." He laughed and the sky pirates flew off. "Should we fly after them?" Cole asked and Nya shook her head. "No. Save your strength." Lloyd looked at her. "But he has Jay, and he just got rid of the only thing that can stop him." This made Nya smirk. "No he didn't." She held up her own canteen, showing the green venom inside. "He emptied the wrong canteen." The others smiled. "You mean-" Cole started. "We have the only thing that can stop him." Lloyd finished and Nya smiled. "And better yet, they don't know we have it. Jay suffered enough. It's time they do the suffering." She said before they headed to the beach.

But to their shock, the boat was completely destroyed. "Our boat. It's destroyed." Cole said and Lloyd looked around. "How are we gonna get back now?" They all looked at eachother in concern.
