The warriors were walking around the dark island. Not noticing the ninja who hid. "This whole island is swarming with Garmadon's indestructible stone army." Kaya said as she and Zane returned from look out. "Ha! Good thing we're ninja and we know how to hide." Jay said with a positive voice. Cole grunted. "Who wants to hide when you can fight? I'm getting tired of having our heads buried in the sand. I wanna fight these guys." Zane looked at him. "But Cole, they have no apparent weakness. It would be unwise to start a fight we cannot finish." He informed him.

Wu walked up to them. "That is why we must find the temple of light." They all headed inside as Misako read through the scrolls. "The scrolls say, there is a hidden temple on the island. If you find it, it will give the ninja pure elemental powers, powers that can destroy the indestructible army." She said and the ninja smiled. "So you're saying we get to fight? Whoo-hoo! I've got happy feet!" Cole cheered.

Misako turn towards Lloyd. "And you, my son, here it is written. For once the green ninja finds the instrument of peace, he will strike it and know the power of the ultimate spinjitzu master." Lloyd looked her confused. "Ultimate spinjitzu master?" He asked and Misako nodded. "It means you will be able to invoke the power of the golden dragon, an ancient fighting style only practiced by the first spinjitzu master." Everyone looked at Lloyd impressed.

"Wait a minute. This all sounds too good to be true. What's the catch?" Kaya asked. "The catch is, the temple could be anywhere on the island, and all we have is this." Wu said and held up a medallion. "A medallion. It's like a compass. When the three holes match up, the medallion will reveal where the temple is hidden." Julien answered. "Uh, how'd you know that?" Jay asked and Julien chuckled. "Oh, I did a lot of reading in my spare time. Adventure stories were my favorite." Zane grabbed the medallion.

"Then what are we waiting for?" He said before they headed off. But Wu stopped Lloyd. "Not you, Lloyd." Lloyd grunted. "Ah, seriously? Are we still doing this?" Misako put a hand on his shoulder. "Wu is right. If you were to come across your father, it could prematurely start the final battle. We need to be at full strength before we take any risks." Lloyd sighed before Julien walked up to him "Well, I could use some help around the shop. We should get working on vehicles that might help give us a fighting chance." Wu nodded and turned to the others. "Remember, Garmadon doesn't know we're on the island. It's imperative that you stay out of sight." They nodded and headed off.

Garmadon was in his camp as a stone warrior walked up to him with a box of black matter. " What's that? General Kozu?" He asked and turned to Kozu. "The mining, they've dug to new depths and have struck dark matter." Kozu answered as Garmadon grabbed the box. "Amazing. The most powerful dark matter." He grinned. "He also says, they have lost many stone warriors down the mouth of eternal shadows just to obtain this one piece." Kozu informed and Garmadon stared at him.

"Then tell him I'll throw him down myself, because I need one thousand more just like this one to make my ultimate weapon." Kozu nodded and walked off. Overlord turned towards Garmadon. "They respect you. This is good, but I feel a shift in the balance." He informed and Garmadon looked confused. "Huh? Should I have shaken my fist more? Maybe dramatically thrown over a table, or kicked over a-" Overlord interupted him. "No, you myopic mortal! The ninja. I cannot see them, but I sense their presence." Garmadon's eyes widened.

"Here? On the island? I will alert all the warriors back. If they are here, we'll find them. They would be fools to set foot anywhere near my camp." What he didn't know was that the ninja were spying. "Look, this must be Garmadon's camp." Jay said and Kaya nodded before looking around. "It looks like he's building something." She said and Zane looked through the medallion. That's when he saw the falcon. "There." The others looked. "Your falcon. I thought it got shot down and was lost for good." Kaya said.

"Not if I can retrieve it and get the pieces back to my father." Zane said and was heading off, but Cole stopped him. "Wait, Zane. You're veering from the plan. We're supposed to be finding the temple of light and staying out of sight." He whisper yelled. Zane turned to him. "If it were any of you, I'd do the same. I have to get my friend back." He then headed off. Kaya stopped the others. "The more of us that goes, the more chance we'll get caught. We just have to stay here and hope he doesn't get seen." The others nodded.

The rest of the team were building on an earth drill. "Thank you, Wu. If you could fetch some more creek water, that should pretty much do it." Julien asked and Wu nodded before heading off. Lloyd was helping Misako and looked at her. "So, how did you meet him? My father." He asked and Misako smiled while looking up. "You know, he wasn't always like the way he is today. It took years for his poisoned heart to turn him evil. There was a time when I loved him very much. And he was very proud." She said. "When was that?" Lloyd asked and Misako smiled. "When we had you." They hugged eachother before Lloyd sighed. "And now, it all comes down to me fighting him." Misako gave him a sympathetic look.

Wu was filling a bucket with water, when he suddenly heard a stone swordsman talking. He hid, but accidently stepped on a stick. This made the warrior see him and they started to fight. Luckily, Lloyd and Misako trapped the warrior. "That was close. Our presence on the island cannot be hidden for much longer. I just hope the ninja have located the temple. Knowing them, they have probably already found it by now." Wu sighed in relief.

The ninja were still waiting for Zane, and Jay was looking through the medallion. "I spy, uh...another tree!" Cole looked at him in annoyence. "Jay, how did you ever become a ninja? Seriously." Kaya nodded. "I wonder the same thing." Jay rolled his eyes before he suddenly managed to align the medallion with three lights. "Guys, look!" He exclaimed and Kaya looked through the medallion. "It matches up. That must be the temple of light." Cole chuckled. "Jay, I take back everything I said. You are a fine ninja. Not finer than me, but a fine-" Suddenly they heard warriors grunting and turned to see Zane being cornered by warriors, holding the falcon in his arms.

"I sense I may have gotten myself into a predicament, my broken friend." He said nervously. Garmadon saw Zane. "A ninja, here? Seize him." He commanded and the others looked at Zane in concern. "That's it, I'm fighting." Cole said before Jay stopped him. "We can't, they're indestructible. If we go in there, they'll know we're here too." Cole just looked at him. "Yeah, and if we don't, we'll regret it for the rest of our lives. Come on, it's Zane." Kaya looked at Jay and nodded. "He's right, let's go." She said before they took over a vehicle and rammed into the warriors surrounding Zane. "They're getting away. No! Do something!" Garmadon shouted and Kozu told the army to follow them.

The ninja quickly ran over a bridge, but it started to break. "Hurry up. We're halfway there." Cole said before they got surrounded from both sides. "Excellent. This is too good." Garmadon laughed while eating popcorn. "We've been in situations like this a hundred times. Quick, who's got an idea?" Kaya asked. "Uh, we jump into that hole." Jay pointed towards the pit of dark matter. "Less stupid idea?" Kaya said. "I say we fight." Cole suggested and Kaya shook her head. "With what? We don't have powers. What about you, Zane? What do your computers say?" Zane looked around.

"I got us into this mess. I know how to get us out." He said before the bridge broke. "Grab a plank!" Everyone grabbed a plank and used spinjitsu to slide over the trees on the plank. "Get them!" Garmadon shouted and the warriors followed them. The ninja used their hoods as parachutes and landed by the Bounty.

They quickly ran and the others saw them. "Hey, they found the Falcon." Julien pointed out. "Why are they running?" Lloyd asked. "Prepare for battle. We've got company." Zane shouted. "You were spotted? By one? Two?" Wu asked them. "Sadly, all of them?" Kaya answered. Misako looked at them. "Did you locate the temple of light?" Kaya nodded. "It's at the top of the mountain. I hope those vehicles are ready, because we could sure use them now." She said before getting to the drill.

"Guess you're gonna have to figure this baby out on the fly." Julien said and Nya nodded. "We've also packed another surprise in the back. Perhaps it can be of use." Jay chuckled. "Another Nya surprise?" Misako turned to Lloyd. "You'll have to go too. Be safe." Lloyd hugged her. "We will." The ninja soon jumped into the drill. "Whatever you do, do not stop until you get to the temple of light. Our survival depends on it." Wu informed and Kaya nodded. "This time, we'll stick to the plan." Wu smiled. "Good luck, ninja." They soon drove off, the warriors being right behind them.

"Cole. You do know how to steer this thing, don't you?" Jay asked nervously. Cole dodged the warriors by digging underground. Soon they arrived by the foot of the mountain. "Well, that's about as far as this baby will go. We'll have to do the rest on our own." Cole said. "But we'll never make it up the mountain before they arrive." Lloyd said and Kaya looked at the drill with a smirk. "Well, then let's see what my sister packed." She said and found a fire mech. "Oh, I love my sis. Leave this to me." With that, she jumped inside the mech and activated it.

The warriors arrived and Kaya started to attack them. But more arrived. "These guys just don't stop." Jay said before Kaya picked up the others on the mech. "Hold on." She said and started to climb the mountain. The warriors followed behind. "They're still coming. We're not climbing fast enough." Zane exclaimed and Kaya activated a hook, making them go faster to the top. "Oh! We made it to the top! But where's the temple of light?" Jay asked and looked around. Lloyd looked at him. "Are you sure you used the medallion right?" Jay scoffed. "Oh, of course I used it right. It said it should be right here." He said.

"Well, until we find it, I've got to find a way to slow them down." Kaya said and used rocks to slow the warriors down. They continued to climb up and soon saw the temple. "The temple of light." Lloyd said before they headed inside. On the walls were drawings of everything they've done. "Guys, check this out. It's us." Jay pointed out. "Impossible. It's everything we've ever done." Kaya smiled. "Finding the Bounty, facing the devourer, even right now." Cole said.

"How could it all be here?" Zane asked and Lloyd saw a drawing of some instruction. "Destiny. I think I know what we need to do." He went to the middle and dusted off dirt from his symbol, the others following behind. Suddenly they heard the warriors getting closer. "Why does everything have to be so hard?" Cole grunted and Lloyd looked around. He then saw the bell over him and remembered what Misako said.

Lloyd then remembered what his mother said. "For once the Green Ninja finds the instrument of peace, he will strike it and know the power of the ultimate spinjitzu master." Lloyd figured out what to do. "The bell. It's an instrument. You guys ready for this?" He asked and the ninja nodded. He took a deep breath before hitting the bell. Golden light appeared around the ninja. Lloyd got lifted into the air and they all got new suits and weapons.

Kaya knew what to do. "Guys, send him your powers!" They all shot their powers at Lloyd and he soon landed on the ground. The warriors soon arrived. "Let 'em have it!" Lloyd said and the ninja used their new powers against the warriors. Kaya blocked their attacks and smirked. "Ha! Haven't you learned? You play with fire, you get burned." She said and made a ring of fire around them before knocking them out.

Jay used electrified them and chuckled. "Shocking, isn't it?" Zane made some warriors stack up before freezing them. "How about cooling down a little." Cole used his powers to bury warriors in dirt. "That's what I call down to earth." He said before starting to moonwalk, jumping on their heads. "Hee, hee." He said. More warriors arrived and Lloyd smirked. "My turn." He said before summoning the golden dragon. "Retreat!" Kozu shouted as the warriors fleed. The others cheered on the Bounty. "They did it!" Nya exclaimed. "Perhaps good will win after all." Misako said and hugged Wu who hugged back.

At the celestial clock was Garmadon scolding Overlord. "It appears your indestructible army isn't as tough as it appears to be." He said and Overlord scoffed. "The ninja may be getting stronger, but so are we. When the celestial clock reaches zero, the ultimate weapon will be complete, and then there will be nothing the ninja can do to stop you from turning Ninjago into your image!" He laughed as the the clock gor closer to it's final hour. Meaning that the ninja would get it hard to stop evil.
