The next day, the four ninja were carrying Sensai Wu in a wagon as he drank tea. So they decided to talk about how he'd found them. Zane said he was meditating under water, Jay said he was trying his new envention and Cole was testing his limits by climbing a big mountain. Kaya got very impressed of their stories, well except for Jay, as it sounded a little stupid. "What about you Kaya?" Zane asked in he polite tone.

Kaya looked at the others before sighing. "My parents disappeared when I was only ten. I had to take care of me and my sister Nya. It was hard, especially with running the shop. I had to learn how to make weapons. Luckily I had Nya there to support me." The others looked at her with sympathetic looks. "So sorry you had to go through that." Cole said and Kaya smiled gently.  "It's ok. I've managed this far." Kaya continued to focus on the road.

They soon arrived to the caves of despair where they saw the skeleton's trucks. "They must already be here." Cole said and turned towards the others. " Okay, here's the plan." He explained his plan and the others agreed. They quietly went in and saw the skeletons looking at the map. "Hey, they holding it upside down." Jay pointed out before Kaya slapped her hand over his mouth.

"Jay! Shut the hell up, or you'll give away our location." She hissed quietly and Jay shut up. The ninja ran the real direction and found the scythe of earth. Gently they wrapped it in a sheath and started heading out. When Jay ofcourse needed to speak. Loudly. "OUR FIRST MISSION TOGETHER THIS IS SO COOL!!!!!"

His voice echoed in the cave, which made the skeletons come to their location. "JAY!!!" The others yelled before they started to fight. Cole fought a couple of skeletons when one of them used it's head to make Cole trip. They were about to strike him when Kaya blocked them and knocked them back. Cole looked up at Kaya as she helped him up. A small blush hidden under his mask. "I know you're the master if earth. But don't get too close okay." Kaya teased and handed him his weapon.

"Y-yeah." His voice stammered. They all continued to fight until out of nowhere, an electric blue tornado appeared. It stopped and showed Jay. "Okay, how did you do that?" Kaya asked and Jay smirked proudly. "It's like the training course. Just went with the flow." The others shrugged before just going with it. Soon they all did Spinjitzu. The skeletons then looked scared and ran away. Jay grinned. "Ha! We totally scared them away." But it wasn't for the ninja. They heard big steps behind them and turned around. Only to see a big beast. It was for a dragon. The one who was the guardian of the scythe.

"I take that back. RUN!" They all run towards the exit with the dragon chasing them. Kaya knew it wouldn't stop chasing them. So she stopped by an opening with a pile of rocks over it. "Kaya! What are you doing!?" Cole shouted and Kaya looked at him. "Just trust me." Reluctantly the others stood behind her. Kaya nodded before looking at the pile of rock over the entrance.

With a steady breath she summoned a ball of fire in her hand and threw it at the pile. The pile of rocks got hit and fell infront the opening, blocking it. Kaya looked at the others who had shocked faces. "Let's go!" She said and they continued outside. Not knowing sensai Wu saw this and had a proud smile on his face. "Kaya! What the heck was that?" Jay shouted. "That was Kaya using her elemental powers." Wu appeared behind them. "Yeah. Came handy when making weapons." Kaya added and the others looked at her amazed.

Wu took the scythe. "Now. We have found one weapon. Only three left now. Let's continue." The others nodded and continued to the wagon. But Cole couldn't help but feel his heart beating over how amazing Kaya was. Was he felling, love for her? No ofcourse not. He shook his head and went with the others.

Their journey continued and many days went by. During the time, both Kaya and Cole seemed to get closer. Jay and Zane noticed this, and how they would blush a little when being near eachother. "Seems like we have two lovebirds with us." Jay said with a smirk. Zane just looked around confused. "Weird. I don't see any birds around here." A sigh escaped Jay. "Not real birds, Zane. Lovebirds is what two people in love is called." Zane blinked before nodding. "Ah. Then I understand. Should we inform Kay and Cole that they love eachother?" Another sigh escaped Jay as he facepalmed.

Soon they got the shurikens of ice and nunchucks of lightning. Both guarded by dragons too. Meaning the only weapon left was the sword of fire. So they put up a camp for the night. All eating food made by Zane. "Mmm. It's delicious Zane. Where did you learn how to cook?" Jay asked and Zane smiled gently. "It's just something I've always been able to do. I don't really remember much about my past." The others looked at him confused. But they shook it off.

Later they started  playing music and danced. Even Wu joined the dancing to their surprise. While the others were having fun, Cole and Kaya went off to look at the stars. They sat there looking up at the night sky. "So. You've ever been to Ninjago City?" Cole broke the silence. Kaya looked at him and nodded. "Yeah. I have. Beautiful city. And good materials for weapons." She said and Cole nodded.

He then hesitated a little before asking. "And, great boys?" This made Kaya look at him. "Yeah, I guess. But I've only dated one guy. And he was bad. Bragging about himself and tried to impress me by showing me his fake trophies." Cole chuckled. "That shitty huh?" Kaya nodded. "Yeah. The man I want is someone who doesn't have to prove anything. Who's true and not afraid to show his flaws. And handsome too." A small blush spread over Cole's face.

"Well, that guy will be lucky for you. You're an amazing person who's very skilled and strong. And. You're beautiful. Like pure amber." Now Kaya was blushing. The two looked eachother in the eyes, lost in a trance. Slowly they leaned close, their lips almost touching before Kaya pulled back and stood up. "I'm so sorry. I just, don't think I'm ready. While my sister is still captured. I'm sorry." She walked off while Cole growled and hit his head. "Stupid stupid stupid! What were I thinking?" He cursed himself before going to the camp and going to sleep.

Both Kaya and Cole thinking about what almost happened. Even though Kaya would have liked sealing their lips. It wasn't the right time as her sister needed her. She couldn't afford to be distracted by love. Atleast, not for now.
