The ninja got lead down a Kryptarium hallway, passing several prisoners who glared at them. Nya got a little frightened as Jay pulled her close to him. "Don't worry. We'll make it through this." He said before Cole looked up at him, still trapped in the teddy bear thanks to the deepstone bracelet. "Easy for you to say. You're not the one trapped in a toy." He said before tripping, grunting before Kaya picked him up. "Atleast you're still cuddly." She said, making Cole smile.
One of the prisoners reached out towards Jay, making him jump back. "Fresh meat!" Noble chuckled. ,xDon't mind them, they all get a little grouchy when they don't get their meat." He informed before cafeteria workers came with meat to the prisoners who happily ate it. The ninja walked faster, arriving at the next section. Lloyd tried to break the shackles, but they didn't break at all. "You can try, but those shackles are made of vengestone. Pretty good for shutting down your powers. And with both of your bracelets having deepstone aswell, you won't be able to escape from your fluffy prison Cole." Noble said and Cole crossed his arms. "So humiliating." They all looked around and saw some old enemies who didn't change their ways like the snakes did.
"Since you're celebrities, I took the liberty of taking you out of the general population." Noble said. "Ha! Who doesn't love special treatment?" Kaya sarcastically said. "So we're placing you in the super mean and dangerous population." Noble continued as the prisoners glared at the ninja. "Real special, all right." Nya said with the same sarcasm as Kaya. "It's no problem, warden. We'll do our time until all of this is straightened out. Like I said before, we were framed." Lloyd said and Noble sighed. "That's what they all say. Now get in your cell, inmates!" He looked for his keys, but didn't find them. "Gosh, darn it, I forgot my keys again. Well, stay here while I go find them." With quick steps he ran off, leaving the prisoners who kept looking at the ninja.
"A-at least they're locked up. Hehehehe..." Jay nervously said before one of the prisoners named the mechanic pressed a button on his robot arm, making all doors open up. All prisoners grinned as they surrounded the ninja. "Nifty gadget. Did you make that?" Lloyd said and the mechanic scoffed. "They call me The Mechanic. And I got a bone to pick with you." The other prisoners nodded in agreement. "Well, that's one more bone than you've got in your entire arm. Let me guess, you don't have much of a spine either." Lloyd sarcastically said. "I used to repair noodle trucks for master Chen and his underground organization. When you put him out of business, you put me out of business." The mechanic hissed at him.
Zane stepped forward. "Then by my observations, that was your own error. Working for a crime boss isn't a very reliable career choice." The mechanic glared at him. "By my observation, actions have consequences. And you have to pay. This nindroid here, it's got spare parts. I could use a few in a place like this." The other ninja stepped infront of Zane. "And I could use a spare arm! These chains won't stop us." Lloyd stood his ground before Noble returned with the keys. "Got my keys! Oh, come on, knuckleheads. Shake hands and be friends." He said and both looked at each.
Hesitantly Lloyd shook the mechanic's hand who had a tight grip. "Just wait until I get my hands on your nindroid." The mechanic grinned before they all got shoved into their cells. "Let's hope Dareth gets us out of here soon. I don't know how much longer we can last in a place like this." Kaya said as the others agreed.
At a beach was Nadakhan using the realm crystal to gather his crew. He opened a portal and out came a man with a gun around his waist, his name being Flintlocke. "Captain, I knew it was only time you'd come for me." Flintlocke said with a smirk and Nadakhan smiled before hugging him, happy to see him again. "Flintlocke. As my most loyal first mate, let me be the first to welcome you. I know you'd been marooned for far too long. Is your gunpowder still dry?" With a smirk Flintlocke fired at a far away palm tree, making the leaves fall off. "Ah-ha! You still got it. Well, what are you waiting for? Say hello to the rest of the crew." Nadakhan laughed before more pirates walked up to them.
"Well, if it ain't be Doubloon. What's the matter, ain't happy to see me?" Flintlocke asked a man with two faces, who also was mute. Doubloon switched his expression to a happy face. Soon Flintlocke turned towards a big woman of a beast. "Dogshank. Could've used a muscle like yours where I've been." He said before a mechanical monkey screeched. "Go fix a turbine, Monkey Wretch." Flintlocke said before handing Dogshank a flower. "A flower. Forgive me, Lady Dogshank." Dogshank grabbed the flower and smirked at him. "Always loved these kind of flowers. But I'm not just a lady." She laughed.
Lastly, Flintlocke turned turned towards a green serpentine with a peg leg. "And last and definitely least, Clancee." Clancee looked at him with a smile. "I-I-It's good to see us all together, F-Flintlocke. I-I told everyone I met about you and how, how, how-" He stuttered bed Flintlocke handed him his guns. "Clean my guns, will you, Clancee?" Flintlocke asked and petted Clancee's head fatherly, Clancee just nodded. "So you got the band back together. My regrets Delara is not here to see this." Nadakhan nodded.
"She will be missed, my friend. Meanwhile, we should celebrate." He held up the realm crystal and Flintlocke's eyes widened. "The mystical realm crystal? You have it. We could go anywhere. Where to, captain? The Straits of Tropicana, the Isles of Sunseto? Or perhaps we'll drink from coconuts in the Cove of Crystal Waters?" He suggested and the others nodded in excitement, while Nadakhan chuckled. "In time. But I have the perfect place in mind." Flintlocke grinned. "Oh. Well, now you've piqued my interest." They all shared a chuckle.
At Kryptarium prison was Dareth visiting the ninja. He picked up the phone, just to get theu screams in his ear. "What are you doing to get us out of here!?...This is no place for a nindroid!....You better help us!...They're all so mean! Help us! You have to help us!" Lloyd shushed them. "Shh. While we're stuck in here, the djinn is out there." Dareth nodded. "I know, I'm doing everything I can. Borg and Julien wanted me to let you know that the djinn broke into the Hiroshi's labyrinth vault and took the realm crystal. The good news is everything else is accounted for. The bad news is the djinn may now have his old crew back." He informed them.
"You have to get us out of here, Dareth. You're our manager. What are you doing to manage this?" Nya said and Dareth looked around before whispering. "Did you get the cake? I baked some tools in it for you to cut through the bars." Jay shook his head. "Cake? We didn't get any cake. Cole?" Cole scoffed. "Do I look capable to eat anything in this body?" Suddenly they saw one of the prisoners eating their cake with a smirk. "Are you fucking kidding me?" Kaya said before Dareth sighed. "Well, sounds like you're on your own. Be strong, little ninja." He said and walked off.
The ninja looked at him in disbelief. "What do you mean on our own?....You're not leaving us in here!.....Wait, Dareth!" They shouted before they got lead away. It soon was lunchtime and they all got served lunch before sitting down. Kaya took a sniff of the food and gagged. "What's wrong Kaya?" Nya asked. "Just don't like the smell of prison food. Smells like the inmates." She answered and the others shrugged as they could smell it too. "We may be out of the action, but that doesn't mean we can't take action. So what do we know about this djinn?" Lloyd said before Soto walked up to them.
"Did someone say djinn? You best not be speaking about Nadakhan the djinn." He said and the others looked at him. "His name is Nadakhan?" Kaya asked. "Hey, Soto. You're not here to fight right?" Jay asked nervously and Soto shook his head. "Not today. I'm having a good day today, so I can help you know more about Nadakhan." He turned to Nya. "You're the samurai who defeated us the first time. Didn't get a good look at your face. But now. You seem familiar. But I don't know from where." Nya looked at him confused.
Lloyd turned to him. "Let's cut the small talk. You know the djinn?" Soto scoffed. "Know him? I was the one who caught him." He said. "So you were the one who trapped him in the teapot? But how?" Kaya asked. "Catching a djinn is harder than steering a galleon upstream in a storm with a leaky hull. But let me try to articulate me words so that you can visualize it. Long ago, me crew aboard the Destiny's Bounty, the finest ship ever built. Save one other, Misfortune's Keep. Nadakhan the djinn was the most feared pirate of the high seas. After me ofcourse. Since he was from another realm, his powers were unmatched. He and his crew were always a step ahead." Soto told them, making the ninja get fascinated.
"The trick to catching a djinn ain't be getting him into the vessel. It's making sure he don't poof away when you try to do it. Not even wishing him into it works. "Everyone knows you can't wish for more wishes, you can't wish for love, and you can't wish to harm others. Wishing a djinn into a teapot would most certainly fall into that category." Jay scoffed. "Who needs magic to get love? True natural love is better." He said and Nya smiled at him with a small giggle. "So, how do you stop it?" Cole asked. "To stop a Djinn, you must-" Soto started before getting interupted by the mechanic. "Well, well, well. Looks like you saved us some seats. Now let's talk about those spare parts." He grinned.
Cole glared at him. "Not now, Sprocket Arm. We're dealing with first tier bad guys here. You're fifth tier. Maybe fourth tier, tops." The mechanic scoffed. "Fourth tier? Is that so, teddy bear?" Some inmates laughed at this, making Cole groan in annoyence. "Look at that, ninja, they have all the weapons. And you are chained." Soto said and Nya smirked. "Yeah. Sounds like it's almost a fair fight." She said before they started to fight with the inmates. Lloyd kicked one of them before looking around. "Where's Zane? I don't see Zane." Nya shook his head. "I don't know. But where's the mechanic?" What they didn't know was that the mechanic and some inmates pinned Zane down and opened up his chest plate.
"Oh. Look at all those spare parts." The mechanic grinned and went to take out some of Zane's parts. Pixal quickly started to rerouting electricity inside of Zane. "Brace yourself, Zane. I'm rerouting all existing power to your chest in three, two, one." He said before the mechanic and the other inmates got electrocuted and sent to the other side, completely dazed. "Thank you, Pixal." Zane said and stood up. "No one touch my boyfriend except me." Pixal answered.
Cole managed to dodge everyone thanks to his teddy bear body. Suddenly he saw how Jay got cornered. "Maybe we can talk about this." Jay nervously said as the prisoner just grin. Before he could strike, Cole jumped onto his head and hit him with a hard muffin, knocking him out. "Are you okay?" Jay smiled and picked up Cole in a hug. "Thank you Cole. You beautiful teddy bear friend." Cole sighed.
Kaya and Lloyd managed to get to Soto. "Finish what you were gonna say. You said you knew how to catch Nadakhan." Kaya said and Soto smirked. "The only way to slow a djinn long enough to catch one is with the venom of a Tiger Widow. Just need to touch the skin on a man to kill him. But it only tires a djinn, so he don't be poofing around." Lloyd shook his head. "Tiger Widow? I've never even heard of one of those. Where do I find one?" He asked. "You don't. They be the rarest of creatures, indigenous to only one island that's found on no map, but me own." Kaya looked at him. "Then where's your map?" She asked before guards came to break up the fighting.
"The fun is over! No dessert for you. Take them back to their cells." One of them said before Noble shook his head. "Not the ninja. They go to the hole for starting this mess." He said and Lloyd turned to Soto. "Wait! Tell us where the map is. Soto!" Soto smirked. "Break me out of this place and I'll tell you. You want the map? I want me freedom." Soon the ninja got locked in the hole. "I guess we could try to find this Tiger Widow on our own. In eight to ten years." Nya said and Lloyd shook his head. "Or we could bust out of here tonight and take Soto with us." He said and with a smirk.
The sky pirates where inside a cave, celebrating their reunion with a song. "I'd trade all the gold that we have reaped. I'd trade all the gold that we have reaped. I'd trade all the gold that we have reaped. For one more cold night on Misfortune's Keep." They sang, except for Monkey Wretch and Doubloon ofcourse. "Heh, so, cap, what's next? Some looting, some pillaging, or all of the above?" Flintlocke asked while taking a sip of his drink. "Sadly, the world has left us behind. Pirates are nothing but a distant memory." Nadakhan answered and Clancee looked at him. "What are you saying, capt'n?" He asked and Nadakhan grinned.
"As a rightful captain, I couldn't well leave my crew marooned. But now that you are all safe, tonight, I'll return to my home realm, Djinjago." Everyone's eyes widened in shock. "But you said you'd never be welcomed back there. What about your father?" Flintlocke asked in a worried tone, making Nadakhan scoff. "Better to live in a world where you are hated than in a world where you are forgotten." The crew looked at eachother and nodded. "Then we go where our captain goes. To Djinjago!" They all cheered and Nadakhan grinned. "T-T-Tell us what it's like. This Djinjago?" Clancee said and Nadakhan smiled at the thought. "It is the most beautiful place you've ever seen. But why tell you, when I can show you?" He said and held up the realm crystal.
A portal opened up and they all stepped through it, only to see Djinjago falling apart. Nadakhan's eyes widened. "What? What is happening?" He was exclaimed before seeing his dad, Khanjikan. "So my son returns in our final hours." Khanjikan said and Nadakhan floated over to him. "What plague has begotten our realm?" A saddened sigh came from Khanjikan. "Our sister realm has been destroyed." This made Nadakhan freeze. "Specteria is gone? And the cursed realm too?" Khanjikan nodded. "As you know, the seventeen realms are interconnected and the balance affects us all. When one falls, another falls apart. Every action has a consequence." He said.
Nadakhan gritted his teeth. "The ninja. Father, I now have the power to travel realms. I can save our people. I can save you." He said desperately but Khanjikan shook his head. "This is our home, son. You might have once turned your back upon it, but I never will." More of Djinjago started to fall. "Captain, we need to leave now." Flintlocke said before Khanjikan handed Nadakhan a sword. "Take the sword of souls." Nadakhan shook his head. "But that sword is meant for-it's meant for the king." Khanjikan smiled.
"Take it. It holds the life force of our forefathers and all its enemies that have fallen from its blade." Hesitantly Nadakhan grabbed it. "The ninja will pay for what they have done." He said and hit the teapot, sending Wu, Misako, Pyther, Selena and Clouse into the sword. Soon he felt the energy from them. "I feel...I feel their life force." Khanjikan smiled. "Now go, son. Go! What was it you once said? A captain always goes down with his ship. The balance is in your hands. Avenge us!" He said before Nadakhan fleed with his crew, just as Djinjago got completely destroyed.
Nadakhan stood up and looked at the sword. "Actions have consequence. Ninjago will pay for what the ninja have done. This world may have forgotten about us, but when we're through with them, they will know what it feels like to have everything they love stolen from them." He hissed. "But Captain, we're only one ship." Flintlocke pointed out and Nadakhan grinned. "Don't worry, your captain has a plan. Ninjago will see something they have never seen before. But in order for that to happen, I need more souls. And who better than the ninja." They all grinned hearing this.
The ninja meanwhile was in the hole. "This has to literally be our lowest point. We're in a hole. Rock bottom." Jay complained and Nya smiled at him. "On the bright side, if we were never arrested, we never would've talked to captain Soto." Zane let out a sigh. "If only we could use our powers again." He said before Lloyd pulled out of fork. "First thing's first." With the fork, Lloyd managed to picklock the cuffs. As soon as he got free, he used his powers to break the other's cuffs.
"Great, we got our powers back. Now, how do we get out of this hole?" Jay asked as Cole unpossessed the teddy bear, stretching a little. "Finally. Man. Being a teddy bear is harder than you think." The other chuckled a little. "Cole will escape through the bars. Then he'll figure out a way to free the rest of us." Cole flew through the bars and destroyed the lock, making the others able to use airjitzu to fly out. "Now, we find Soto. Jay, make sure we're not seen." Jay nodded and used his powers to disable the security cameras. Kaya reached Soto's cell and used fire to melt the bars, both soon joining the others as the guards chased after them.
"Once we have Soto, Zane will make sure we're not followed." Zane quickly froze the ground, making the guards slip right into the wall, knocking them out. The ninja and Soto arrived at a wall and used their powers together to make an exit. After they went through it Kaya put a poster over the hole. "Since they'll have the main doors well guarded, we'll need to make our exit through the sewer pipes." Lloyd said as he opened up one of the pipes. "Sewer pipes? Argh, gross." Jay complained before they saw guards heading their way.
They quickly jumped into the pipe and Nya used her powers to make a waterslide for them, Kaya and Jay holding Cole over their heads so he wouldn't touch the water. Soon they made it to the end, cheering over being out of the prison. "We made it!" Jay exclaimed and Soto smiled at them. "Thank you, ninja. I owe you another favor after this." He said and Kaya nodded. "We appreciate it. Now, where's the map?" She asked. "The map's hidden within a lantern onboard Nadakhan's ship. Light its candle and it'll show you the way." Soto answered, making Cole sigh.
"Ugh, Nadakhan's ship? I thought we said we were trying to avoid that guy." Soto chuckled. "I never said it was going to be easy. Good luck, and may the winds always be in your sails." He started to walk off before turning to Nya. "Wait, I suddenly remember why you look so familiar. Oh, my, that be a charm! By word, you're a spitting image of her." Nya looked at him confused. "Of who?" She asked.
The sky pirates was repairing their ship. "Uh he-here's the supplies you requested. More coconuts for the crew. Oh, and you wouldn't believe w-w-what's on the front page." Clancee said as he handed a crate of supplies to Nadakhan who grabbed the newspaper. He grinned at the ninja's pictures, before he stopped on Nya's. His eyes widened as he took up his medallion, comparing the picture of Delara and Nya. "Delara. My love." Soon Monkey Wretch screeched. "Monkey Wretch says the restorations are going to plan." Flintlock informed. "Good. But will she fly?" Nadakhan asked and Flintlocke grinned.
"Oh, she'll fly soon, Captain. She'll fly soon." They both laughed.
