Garmadon and Lloyd had reached the mountains, there Garmadon was having a lesson with Lloyd. He was stacking rocks on him, teaching him about parents. "We underestimate the importance of balance. When it's there, we're at peace. When something is off, everything falls. Ninjago is no different. It put too much faith in technology, allowing the Overlord to return, and because of your friends, now the world is without power. When one relies on something too much, we become weak, vulnerable, imbalanced. In order to find your full potential and unlock your true power, you must find your own balance." Lloyd was grunting while holding up the rocks.

"I'm already the golden ninja, how much more power do I need?" He complained and Garmadon sighed. "You've only scratched the surface! You have the potential to move mountains. Power of the first spinjitzu master!" He said and Lloyd looked up at him. "The others destroyed the power substation, essentially destroying the Overlord and his nindroids. Why can't we go back?" Garmadon looked at him. "Essentially? Until the Overlord is fully erased from the system, we must not go back, but forward!" He then put a giant rock onto the pile of rocks, making Lloyd fall.

"If you can't move mountains, I guess we'll have to move over mountains." Garmadon said and Lloyd jumped beside him. "Oh yeah?" He said before Garmadon pointed at a tree. "And this next one looks particularly steep." They both looked at a very steep mountain.

In New Ninjago City was Cyrus found by some construction workers. They patched him up before taking him to his office. "Do you feel better, Mr. Borg?" One of them asked and Cyrus nodded. "Yes, yes but how long have I been out?" The workers looked at eachother. "Quite a while, sir. We've been without power for a few days." Suddenly Cyrus noticed that the hard drive was gone, making him start to panic. "The hard drive, It's missing! Have the ninja returned with the techno blades? Please, it's very important!" He exclaimed and the workers shook their heads.

"Uh, no. There's been no one else inside the building." Cyrus soon saw that Wu was gone aswell. "Wu . . . He was right here! Where did he go? And who would take the hard drive when the Overlord virus is still on it? Oh, so many questions, so few answers." He sighed, not knowing that in a secret base, the hard drive was started up by a covered stranger. "Where am I?! The ninja destroyed all of the power. How have you saved me?" Overlord asked in confusion. "Electro-Cobrai. Though extremely rare, they're extremely useful." The stranger said while pointing at a tank with electric serpens.

Overlord looked at him suspiciously. "Who are are you? What do you want from me?" The stranger smirked. "Nothing but a small favor after returning you to power. You do still want to become flesh, if I'm not mistaken?" Overlord became more interested. "Yes, of course, but I need the golden ninja." The stranger nodded. "You'll get your hands on him in time. Our power is limited, we must be wise with our next move. Ninjago is vast, the golden ninja could be anywhere. And still, the ninja have the only weapons that could erase you." He said before activating an evil Wu. Or now, Tech Wu. "The old man knows everything about the ninja. All of their secrets. All of their hideouts. He will find them in no time." Overlord grinned. "Yes, yes!" They both laughed.

The ninja were looking for spare parts at Jay's parent's junkyard. "We've been digging for so long, I think I forgot what we're looking for!" Cole said Kaya turned to him. "A jiggly compact compress converter. Or was it a compress compact jiggly converter? Whatever it is, if it can get us back to New Ninjago City any sooner, it's worth finding." She said with a sigh. Jay was searching with Ed. "We shut off the power thinking we could just waltz in but no. We didn't stop to think we were a bajillion miles away. Hey! A compact converted jiggly compressor!" He exclaimed while holding up a part.

Ed chuckled. "Ah! Great find, kiddo. Now all we need to adapt that hover-copter's power supply to solar power is an upside down rotter derottermabob and a whiz bang automated amplifier!" Kaya sighed before looking at Cole. "I'm starting to think they're just making this stuff up. I'm gonna look how it goes for Nya and Zane with Pixal." She said and Cole nodded. "Go ahead, Firefly. I stay here." Kaya gave him a quick kiss before heading to the others.

Cole turned to Jay. "Okay, so how are you gonna get me ready to propose to Kaya?" He asked and Jay smirked. "First of you gotta feel deep down and feel the love come out. Then you do a majestic pose. And lastly you go down on one knee and say. Hey baby, will you marry me?" Cole just blinked. "Yeah, Kaya will think I'm crazy if I do like that. Let's just admit it. I'll never be able to get it right." Jay put a hand on his shoulder. "Ofcourse you will" Ed walked up to them.

"An advise from a married man. Never think negative thoughts." Jay nodded. "Have faith in the power of positive thinking." They both said and Cole sighed. "And also you gonna need a good look. I have the perfect thing, follow me." Ed said before the boys followed him. Kaya and Nya meanwhile were trying to fix Pixal. Nya carefully opened Zane's chest and took out half of his power source, making him winch a little in pain. "You sure you want to do this? Modifying your original design could have...unintentional consequences." Nya asked with slight concern.

Kaya nodded in agreement. "And it can be dangerous. Who knows what can happen to you." Zane looked at Pixal and held his hand. "He risked his life for me. It's the least I could do to get him back." Nya nodded and put the half power source into Pixal. A small silver glow came from him before he slowly opened his eyes. He looked around and scanned the area. "Where am I? What happened?" That's when he saw Zane missing half his source, quickly putting two and two together. "You gave me half your power source. My processor does not compute." Zane walked up to him and grabbed his hands.

"You are the only one who knows Borg's system. You are vital to the mission. And, you are vital to me." The two looked eachother in the eyes before leaning their foreheads onto eachother. Edna came with some tea and smiled at the two. "Awww. True love." Kaya and Nya nodded in agreement.

Lloyd and Garmadon had came across a gap, without an easy way to get over. "Who needs bridges when you can manifest a golden dragon to-" Lloyd said as he started to activate his dragon, but Garmadon stopped him. "You rely too much on your golden power. Let this be a lesson. Center yourself and move the mountain with your mind." He said and Lloyd's eyes widened. "What? Move that? Are you kidding?" Garmadon shook his head. "Find your balance. Concentrate." Lloyd sighed before concentrating his powers. Rocks started to fly between tge gap, forming a bridge. But it soon collapsed. "Ugh, this is pointless. Especially when I can do this!" Lloyd said and made a golden bridge instead.

He turned to Garmadon with a smirk. "I'm not the first spinjitzu master, and I never wanted to be. I'm the golden ninja!" Garmadon just sighed. "I know. I was once like this too." They headed over the gap.

At the junkyard, Jay and Ed walked into the van. "Ladies, gentleman and Zane. Let us introduce. Cole Brookstone." Jay exclaimed before Cole walked in, wearing a brown polkadotted suit and slick back hair. This caused the others look at him in surprise and confusion. "Um, Cole? Why are you wearing that? And what's with your hair?" Kaya asked and Cole smirked at her. "Well baby. I just wanted to try a new look. What do you think?" He asked and Kaya nervously laughed. "Well, it's different. But if you like it, then I'm okay with that." Jay and Ed soon signaled Cole to propose. He nodded and reached for the ring.

What they didn't know, was that Tech Wu started up the nindroids outside. "Well Kaya, I wanna ask you something. Well you are the best thing that happened to me, so I wonder, wi..." Cole got interupted when Mindroid used the crane to grab the van, making everyone fall. "What was that?" Nya asked before they all looked outside, seeing the machines being activated. 'The machines haven't worked since the outage. What's powering it?" Ed said before Kaya saw Mindroid and the other nindroids. "Nindroids! Better question is, what's powering them?" Suddenly Mindroid started to spin them around.

"They're after the techno blades." Pixal informed before Cryptor shot at them while laughing, almost hitting Jay's parents. "Mom! Dad! Are you okay?" Edna nodded as she and Ed put on jetpacks. "Ooh, don't worry about us, sweetie. We prepare for every type of situation." Ed nodded before seeing that other jetpacks were shot. "Uh oh. The rest are hit." Jay turned to the both. "You go. Well handle them." Ed and Edna nodded before flying off.

"What are we gonna do?" Cole asked and Kaya stood up. "We may not have our elemental powers, but we still have our spinjitzu! Are you gonna be okay, Pixal?" Pixal nodded. "I may not be built to fight, but my protective reflexes should suffice." He answered and Nya sighed. "Great! Cause you're gonna need 'em!" Soon Mindroid let go, forcing them to jump out. They other three ninja used spinjitsu with Jay holding Nya close. But Zane couldn't, causing him and Pixal to jump out and roll on the ground.

"I couldn't do Spinjitzu!" Pixal scanned him. "Your heart. Dividing it made you lose half your power. It's  inhibiting your fighting ability." He said and Zane smirked a little playfully. "I guess I have poor timing." Pixal laughed a little too before Cryptor shot at them. "We have to help Zane!" Jay exclaimed and Cole nodded. "Let's go!" Both ran towards Zane and Pixal, but that's when Tech Wu pushed a button, causing them to fall into a car crasher. "We're trapped!" Cole exclaimed. "And in the worst thing ever." Jay answered before Tech Wu activated it with a grin. Both ninja started to panic. "Hey, someone stop this thing!" Cole shouted, being heard by Kaya.

"They're trapped!" She quickly headed towards the crasher, but Tech Wu jumped Infront of her. "Sensei, what have they done to you?" Kaya asked with widened eyes. Tech Wu soon started to attack her, but she managed to block his attacks. "Nya, you have to stop the press!" She exclaimed and Nya looked at the crasher as she was beating Mindroid. "I'm on it!" Quickly, she made it to the panel and pressed some buttons. "I can't override it!" Jay looked up. "Well, you better do something fast, because if you don't, Cole and I are gonna get real close. I've heard of close best friends, but this is to much." Cole put his legs against one of the walls, using his strength to stop it as much as he could.

He started to sweat a little. "I can't do this forever!" Nya opened the wires and pulled out two cables. "Seriously!? A red or green wire. I have to cut one of these wires to shut it down, but cut the wrong one and it may crush you guys instantly!" She exclaimed and Jay grunted. "Ooh that's so cliche." He said. "Choose red. It's always red." Cole suggested and Jay shook his head. "Not always. Sometimes it is different colors, like black and blue." He quickly got a glare from Cole. "No time for that!" He snapped.

Cryptor was shooting at Zane and Pixal, knocking them back. That's when Mindroid used a magnet to catch him. "Zane!" Pixal exclaimed as Cryptor activated more nindroids, laughing. Kaya and Tech Wu continued to fight. "Sensei, please snap out of this! This isn't you! Don't let Overlord control you!" Kaya tried to reach him, but Tech Wu just continued to attack.

Mindroid moved Zane towards another crusher. "Junk him." Cryptor said before Zane got lowered down. Pixal's eyes widened before he got a serious expression. "No!" He exclaimed before knocking nindroids  out and reached Zane, saving him last minute. They both fell on the ground and looked at eachother. "That was never in my program. Your heart improved my fighting ability!" Pixal pointed out and Zane smiled a little. "Catch them!" Cryptor commanded as nindroids surrounded them.

Zane and Pixal quickly linked arms as they started to kick the nindroids. "Our shared reflexes. . . ." Zane started. "Work as one!" Pixal finished before they started to spin, forming a tornado. "As if we were made. . . . To fight together!" Both said before forming a full spinjitsu, knocking out the nindroids.

The walls started to move again as Cole struggled. "I can't hold any longer." He said. "Cole, if we don't make it. I actually liked your cooking a little." Jay said and Cole chuckled a little. "Thanks. And your jokes are actually really funny." Nya kept thinking which wire to cut. "Wait a minute. Ugh I'm so stupid." She cut both wires, saving the boys who sighed in relief. "Nya, you did it!" Cole said while being out of breath. "Which color did you choose?" Jay asked. "Both. Should have thought about that from the start." Nya answered, and they all shrugged before heading towards Kaya.

Kaya kept fighting Tech Wu, when she suddenly got sent into a pile of scraps. Her head got a big blow, knocking her out. With a grin, Tech Wu walked up to her, about to deal the finishing blow. Suddenly the others arrived. "Kaya!" Cole shouted and Tech Wu turned to them with a growl. "Is that, Sensei Wu?" Nya pointed out. "What happened to him?" Jay asked. "He must have got turned evil! We gotta help Kaya." Cole answered and Jay looked at him in shock. "But he's our Sensei!" Nya shook her head. "Not anymore." She said.

They ran towards Tech Wu and started to fight him. But he was too strong for them. Suddenly Zane and Pixal used the magnet to catch him. "Sorry, Sensei." Zane said with a saddened tone before Pixal gave him a small comforting hug. "Ha! I always knew those two had a magnetic attraction." Jay said and Nya rolled her eyes. Suddenly the stranger used a bow and arrow to free Tech Wu. "Woah! Who is that?" Jay exclaimed as Tech Wu was about to attack, but the stranger stopped him. "Enough. The Overlord will be pleased." They soon disappeared with the nindroids.

"Uh! Seriously, who the heck was that person?" Nya asked. "Whoever it is, he turned our sensei against us." Zane answered and Jay nodded in agreement. "And if we want to save him, we'll need to find out who this stranger is." Pixal scanned the area and found something. "Perhaps I could have that answer for you in a few moments." He said and held up a white scale. "It's a scale from a serpentine." Jay said and Nya turned to Pixal. "Pixal, can you analyze it?" He shook his head. "The sample is far too small, but given time, I should have an answer." Zane nodded.

"Then we should waste no more time and get back to the city. I'll use my Falcon Vision to warn Lloyd and Garmadon of our findings." Nya sighed. "I thought taking the power out would give us the upper hand, but now that they have it and we don't. I guess the power has only shifted." Jay wrapped his arms around her. "Don't worry Nya, we'll get Sensei back." They soon heard Cole's voice. "Guys! Over here." The others quickly headed to him as he held Kaya in his arms.

Her eyes slowly opened up and Cole helped her stand up. "What happened?" She asked and Cole looked at her gently. "It's okay. You got a big blow in your head." He smiled and Kaya looked at him confused. "Who are you?" Everyone's eyes widened. "Kaya, it's me, Cole." Cole said and Kaya shook her head. "Sorry. I don't know who you are." Cole's heart hurt hearing that. Kaya then saw her suit. "Why am I in a ninja suit? Where's tha blacksmith!" She asked. Pixal scanned her and turned to the others. "The blow caused her amnesia." He informed.

"She don't remember anything from after the blacksmith." Nya said and Zane turned to Pixal. "Can we fix it?" Pixal nodded. "Maybe, but we gotta head to the city." The others nodded before Nya gently took Kaya's hand. "Come on Kaya, we'll get you some help." Kaya nodded, atleast still remembering Nya. They all started to head to the city.

Lloyd and Garmadon was climbing up the mountain, which was a very hard time. "Wish you still had four hands? It would've come in handy." Lloyd joked and Garmadon rolled his eyes. "Your potential is great, not your sense of humor. If you want to harness the power of the first spinjitzu master, you must focus on your balance, and find your center." They soon past a nest and Lloyd saw a small Ravture. "Uh, dad?" Garmadon looked at it. "A Ravture youngling. Don't touch him. It needs to learn to fly on its own. Keep climbing. Slowly." Lloyd looked at the Ravture as is suddenly fell.

He quickly caught it, making Garmadon panic. "What have you done? It's going to know someone has touched its young!" Lloyd looked at him confused. "It? Who?" Suddenly a sound came towards them. "He's dad." Garmadon answered as the Ravture dad got closer. "He was going to fall. I was trying to help." Lloyd said and Garmadon looked at him. "Unless you speak Ravture, there's no use trying to explain. Hurry! We need to climb to shelter! There!" He pointed at a cave and they started to climb.

Suddenly the Ravture dad swept down and knocked Garmadon off the cliff. "Dad!" Lloyd exclaimed as Garmadon managed to grab a branch. "I take it back. I do want my four hands." He said as Lloyd started to make and energy ball. "No! Do not use your power as a crutch. It will only weaken you. He's circling back." Suddenly Garmadon got grabbed by the Ravture dad. "Dad! No!" Lloyd cried out before shooting the Ravture, making it let go of Garmadon who fell towards the ground.

Quickly, Lloyd concentrated his powers. That's when a hand of stone lifted Garmadon towards him. Garmadon jumped towards Lloyd and pulled him into a hug. "You just moved a mountain, son." He said proudly and Lloyd hugged back. That's when they saw the Ravture chick flying without a problem. "You're not the only one that's grown up." Garmadon said before Lloyd made stairs at the mountain. They both soon reached the other side when the falcon appeared infront of them.

"Hey, the others have sent a message." Lloyd said before the message started to play. "Lloyd, we've some bad news. We've had a run in with a mysterious someone who has found a new way to power nindroids." Nya said before it switched to Jay. "And he turned Sensei Wu evil. He had a black beard!" It switched back to Nya. "We have a suspicion this person may have stolen the hard drive containing the Overlord and has reawakened him." That's when it switched to Zane. "And now that the hard drive has gone missing, we can't reboot the system. Our techno blades are useless." Lloyd's and Garmadon's eyes widened.

It switched to Nya again. "But the stranger left a clue, a white scale. That's right, we think he may be serpentine. We're headed to New Ninjago City to get to the bottom of this. We thought you should know so you can keep your distance. Hope you're faring better than we are. We'll stay in contact if we learn anything new. Over and out." The message ended. "Whoa. Serpentine?" Lloyd said and Garmadon nodded. "Indeed, suspicious. "But now. We must not go back, but forward. Hiroshi's Labyrinth, miles of jungle so dense, all who enter are never found. We must not rest." He said as they looked at the jungle. "Okay. Let's get lost." Lloyd said as they headed off.

The stranger had returned to his base, and Overlord was mad. "You failed! Not even you could stop all of them!" He exclaimed as the stranger shook his head. "I wasn't trying to stop them, I was luring them into a greater trap. Plus Wu took down one of them." That's when he turned on a recording of Garmadon and Lloyd talking. "Hiroshi's Labyrinth. Miles of jungle so dense, all who enter are never found. We must not rest. Okay. Let's get lost." Both voices was heard from the recording.

"Attacking the ninja was merely a ploy to scare them into sending a warning message to the chosen one. I intercepted their SOS and now we know where the Golden Ninja is. The Falcon is now our beacon. He will lead us right to him." The stranger said as Overlord grinned. "Ha ha ha! Whoever you are, I like you. Soon the power will be mine!" Both laughed as they now had the upper hand.
