(Name's POV)
I felt his rough and slimy tongue go up the side of my neck I tensed and so did gray, did he just?......."THAT'S IT!!!" I yelled. I elbowed the leader in the nose breaking it on impact, his hands quickly flew to his nose trying to stop the bleeding. I kicked him and he went flying all of his men brought out their weapons and tryed to attack me at once "FIRE DRAGON ROAAAARRRR!!" it didn't take long to wipe them out. I turned to see gray smiling and the little girl staring in awe I smiled, suddenly you could hear muttering I looked around to see all the villagers approaching us. One women was Infront of the crowd she was crying and holding out her arms "MOMMA!!" The girl ran and hugged the women who began to hug her tight and kiss her head repeatedly. The villagers looked at the men than me and gray " did you do this?" One man asked us "the credit will have to go to her I'm afraid I didn't do anything." Gray chuckled. The villagers eyes widened "this is the work of only one Fairy Tail wizard!?!?" "And we have two!?!?" The villagers smiled " we may be saved after all!!" Another man cheered. "If I may ask how did these men get into the village?" I asked one of the men looked at me " two of them came to the gate and said they were Fairy Tail wizards so we let them in." He says. "You didn't ask to see their mark?" Gray asks " we did and they showed us." "Which two men?" He asks, the man points at two of the fifty men lying on the ground. "Where were their marks?" I ask " on their right shoulders." Me an gray lifted their sleeves and saw their marks. We turned around slowly " how could mistake 'this' for our mark???" We asked in unison, we showed them our marks.

The villagers looked down in embarrassment, we sighed and turned to them all "We are the Fairy Tail wizards you requested we will protect you to the best of our ability." I smile. The villagers all nod, I began to hear muttering about how 'they're were just kids' and 'they look cute together' I blushed slightly. " Who is the leader of the village?" Gray asks, much to our surprise a women in her thirty's stepped out of the crowd. She had long flowing velvet hair and bright blue eyes "I am, my name is Sandra, Sandra Spellheart and may I ask your names?" She asks. "(Name) Dragneel" "Gray Fullbuster" we say and bow slightly "so Ms. Spellheart what exactly are we protecting you from specifically?" Gray asks. "You two will be protecting us from quilds, rouge gangs like these and monsters which lurk around the forest." I smile "is that all?" I ask smiling, she chuckled.

(Short Time-Skip)
After our little introduction gray and I began to gather and tie up the rogue gang and a few of the people from town came to get them. Sandra and the villagers insisted that they throw us a banquet for us protecting them, we were going to deny but our stomachs didn't agree with that. After eating our fill and dancing till late in the night, Sandra showed me and gray where we would be staying. We ended up in a small one story house with two separate rooms we said our good night's and went to bed.
(1 hour Time-Skip)
I slowly opened my eyes to the sound of knocking, I sat there for a minute to make sure that's what I heard soon after I heard another knock and I got up. I headed to the front door to see no one I looked around and then looked down to see the little girl from earlier. We stared at each other for a bit the only sound was the chirping of the crickets until I finally spoke. "Can I help you with something little one?" I ask she squeezes her teddy bear "I wanted to thank you for saving me and teddy this morning." She said in a quiet voice. I leaned down to her height " how did that man get his hands on you?" I asked, she tensed " they came into the village and said they would hurt everyone so I snuck away from momma and kicked the man in the leg and he got mad at me." She says. I chuckle "you were very brave trying to protect everyone like that, but now that's me and my partner's turn alright, so no more kicking bad guys got it?" She giggles and nods. I stand up " now where do you live you shouldn't be out at night." I say she takes my hand and leads me to her house, I knock on the door and her mom opens it. "Yes?" I bring the girl out from behind me "I believe this is yours." I smile, she smiles and picks her up " you snuck out again didn't you." The girl nods " I wanted to thank Ms.(name) for saving me and teddy." She says. The women turns to me "yes thank you." I nod " it's no problem Mrs?" "Parker, Ruth Parker" I smile and turn to the girl "and you are?" She giggles "jammie" I smile and ruffle her hair. "Good night Mrs.Parker, Jammie." They say good night and I head back to the house and go back to my room and lay down. Man I never get tired of hearing Thank You.

(A/N: the way the village is set up is it's like a town with stores and bakery's and stuff except there's a wall around it. Like Attack on Titan except without the Titans and the don't step foot out the wall rule.)
