(Gray's POV)

We headed back to the village as (name) explained that someone there had used magic to open the chimera egg "but if the villagers could use magic why couldn't they fight this thing them selves?" lucy asked. "Did anyone notice that no one in village mentioned they could use magic?" (name) asked "yeah no one said anything about magic." i say, (name) smirks. "(Name) i know that look what are you thinking." natsu says "the thing about chimera's is that who ever first hatched it can't be harmed by it, so who ever in the village summoned the chimera won't be attacked if we let it lose." she says. "So you want to let it lose on the village?" i ask  she nods "that makes sense because who ever let it lose won't let it destroy their home." lucy says "not exactly if that was true than we wouldn't be here in the first place remember this thing is destroying crops and scaring off all source of food even for the summoner." erza says. " I agree with erza i don't see why anyone in the village would try to harm the village like that." i say "Hey GUYS LOOK AT THIS WEIRD CAVE!" natsu yells. We stop and walk towards natsu's weird cave "what's so weird about it?" (name) asks "i don't know it just seems weird." he says, we all look at the cave and sweat drop. "Natsu do you not notice the huge claw marks on and around the  cave?" (name) asks "oh that's what's weird about it!" he says smiling i face palm "congratulations flame brain you've just reached a whole new level of stupid." i say. "WHAT WAS THAT STRIP-" natsu was cut off by the ground shaking and a huge roar "that came from the village!" erza says running towards the village with us close behind. We soon reach the village to see ANOTHER CHIMERA!? "why is there another one!?" lucy asks we hear a nervous laugh from behind us we turn around to see (name) rubbing her neck. "Um well the one from earlier was just a baby." she says "A BABY!!?!?!" we yell "yes and if I'm correct that one is it's mother." "hold on i thought you said a chimera could only be hatched from magic!" i ask. "Well yes but i meant by humans ,the mother its self uses its flame to hatch it and once it hatches it feeds the baby it's flame." she explains. Suddenly a scream is heard, we all look to see the chiefs daughter wrapped in the chimeras tails as it flies off, "FAIRY TAIL WIZARDS DO SOMETHING!" the chief yells. "Chief  does your daughter use magic?" (name) asks "yes why?" "does anyone else in the village?" she asks "no Madison got it from her mother." he says "so that proves that she was the one who hatched the chimera egg." lucy says. "Wait you said that what took her was the mother yes?" i ask turning to (name), she nods "yes why?" "wait aren't mothers very protective of their children?" lucy asks "yes especially when their children are taken from them." natsu says.

My eyes widen wait if Madison took the egg then that means "the mother could kill her!" gray nods "we need to go now!" i say running into the forest back towards the cave hopefully we aren't to late. Just then a scream fills our ears we run faster and stop infront of the cave to see....
